1 Nowe when the wall was builded, and I had set vp the doores, and the porters, and the singers and the Leuites were appointed,
1 Sucedeu que, depois que o muro foi edificado, eu levantei as portas; e foram estabelecidos os porteiros, os cantores e os levitas.
2 Then I commanded my brother Hanani and Hananiah the prince of the palace in Ierusalem (for he was doubtlesse a faithfull man, and feared God aboue many)
2 Eu nomeei a Hanani, meu irmão, e a Hananias, líder da fortaleza, sobre Jerusalém; porque ele era homem fiel e temente a Deus, mais do que muitos.
3 And I saide vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the heate of the sunne: and while they stande by, let them shut the doores, and make them fast: and I appointed wardes of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his warde, and euery one ouer against his house.
3 E disse-lhes: Não se abram as portas de Jerusalém até que o sol aqueça, e enquanto os que assisti-rem ali permanecerem, fechem as portas, e vós trancai-as; e ponhamse guardas dos moradores de Jerusalém, cada um na sua guarda, e cada um diante da sua casa.
4 Nowe the citie was large and great, but the people were few therein, and the houses were not buylded.
4 E era a cidade larga de espaço, e grande, porém pouco povo havia dentro dela; e ainda as casas não estavam edificadas.
5 And my God put into mine heart, and I gathered the princes, and the rulers, and the people, to count their genealogies: and I found a booke of the genealogie of them, which came vp at the first, and found written therein,
5 Então o meu Deus me pôs no coração que ajuntasse os nobres, os magistrados e o povo, para registrar as genealogias; e achei o livro da genealogia dos que subiram primeiro e nele estava escrito o seguinte:
6 These are the sonnes of the prouince that came vp from the captiuitie that was caried away (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caryed away) and they returned to Ierusalem and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie.
6 Estes são os filhos da província, que subiram do cativeiro dos exilados, que transportara Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia; e voltaram para Jerusalém e para Judá, cada um para a sua cidade;
7 They which came with Zerubbabel, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Biguai, Nehum, Baanah. This is the nomber of the men of the people of Israel.
7 Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesuá, Neemias, Azarias, Raamias, Naamani, Mordecai, Bilsã, Misperete, Bigvai, Neum, e Baaná; este é o número dos homens do povo de Israel.
8 The sonnes of Parosh, two thousande an hundreth seuentie and two.
8 Foram os filhos de Parós, dois mil, cento e setenta e dois.
9 The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth seuentie and two.
9 Os filhos de Sefatias, trezentos e setenta e dois.
10 The sonnes of Arah, sixe hundreth fiftie and two.
10 Os filhos de Ará, seiscentos e cinqüenta e dois.
11 The sonnes of Pahath Moab of ye sonnes of Ieshua, and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and eighteene.
11 Os filhos de Paate-Moabe, dos filhos de Jesuá e de Joabe, dois mil, oitocentos e dezoito.
12 The sonnes of Elam, a thousand, two hundreth fiftie and foure.
12 Os filhos de Elão, mil, duzentos e cinqüenta e quatro.
13 The sonnes of Zattu, eight hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
13 Os filhos de Zatu, oitocentos e quarenta e cinco.
14 The sonnes of Zacchai, seuen hundreth and three score.

15 The sonnes of Binnui, sixe hundreth and eight and fourtie.

18 The sonnes of Adonikam, sixe hundreth three score and seuen.

19 The sonnes of Biguai, two thousand three score and seuen.

20 The sonnes of Adin, sixe hundreth, and fiue and fiftie.
20 Os filhos de Adim, seiscentos e cinqüenta e cinco.
21 The sonnes of Ater of Hizkiah, ninetie and eight.
21 Os filhos de Ater, de Ezequias, noventa e oito.
22 The sonnes of Hashum, three hundreth and eight and twentie.
22 Os filhos de Hassum, trezentos e vinte e oito.
23 The sonnes of Bezai, three hundreth and foure and twentie.

24 The sonnes of Hariph, an hundreth and twelue.

59 Os filhos de Sefatias, os filhos de Hatil, os filhos de Poquerete-Hazebaim, os filhos de Amom.
60 All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruantes were three hundreth, ninetie and two.
60 Todos os servidores do templo e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
61 And these came vp from Tel-melah, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shewe their fathers house, nor their seede, or if they were of Israel.
61 Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá, e Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adom, Imer; porém não puderam provar que a casa de seus pais e a sua linhagem, eram de Israel.
62 The sonnes of Delaiah: the sonnes of Tobiah, the sonnes of Nekoda, six hundreth and two and fourtie.
62 Os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.
63 And of the Priestes: the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Hakkoz, the sonnes of Barzillai, which tooke one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was named after their name.
63 E dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, que tomara uma mulher das filhas de Barzilai, o gileadita, e que foi chamado do seu nome.
64 These sought their writing of the genealogies, but it was not founde: therefore they were put from the Priesthood.

65 And the Tirshatha sayd vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy, till there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.

66 All the Congregation together was two and fourtie thousand, three hundreth and threescore,
66 Toda esta congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil, trezentos e sessenta,
67 Besides their seruantes and their maydes, which were seuen thousand, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and they had two hundreth and fiue and fourtie singing men and singing women.
67 Afora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil, trezentos e trinta e sete; e tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco cantores e cantoras.
68 Their horses were seuen hundreth and sixe and thirtie, and their mules two hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
68 Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis; os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco.
69 The camels foure hundreth and fiue and thirtie, and sixe thousande, seuen hundreth and twentie asses.
69 Camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; jumentos, seis mil, setecentos e vinte.
70 And certaine of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the worke. The Tirshatha gaue to the treasure, a thousand drammes of golde, fiftie basins, fiue hundreth and thirtie Priests garments.
70 E uma parte dos chefes dos pais contribuíram para a obra. O governador deu para o tesouro, em ouro, mil dracmas, cinqüenta bacias, e quinhentas e trinta vestes sacerdotais.
71 And some of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the treasure of the worke, twentie thousand drams of golde, and two thousande and two hundreth pieces of siluer.
71 E alguns mais dos chefes dos pais contribuíram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas, e em prata, duas mil e duzentas libras.
72 And the rest of the people gaue twentie thousand drammes of golde, and two thousande pieces of siluer, and three score and seuen Priestes garments.
72 E o que deu o restante do povo foi, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas, e em prata, duas mil libras; e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotais.
73 And the Priestes, and Leuites, and the porters and the singers and the rest of the people and the Nethinims, and all Israel dwelt in their cities: and when the seuenth moneth came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
73 E habitaram os sacerdotes, os levitas, os porteiros, os cantores, alguns do povo, os servidores do templo, e todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
