1 ቃሴካ ዬሱሲ ሃራ ሌሚሶ፥
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 «ሳሎ ካዎቴ ባ ናስ ሳርጌ ጊግሲዳ ኢሲ ካዎ ሚሳታዉስ።
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ካዎይካ ዲጊሳስ ዮቲዳይታ ጼይጋናስ ባ ኣሽካራታ ዬዲዴስ፤ ጼይጌቲዳይቲካ፥ ‹ኑ ቦኮ› ጊዳ።
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 «ቃሴካ ሃራ ኣሽካራታ፥ ‹ካሴ ኢስታስ ዮቲዳይታ ሄኮ ታ ሳንጋ ቦራታኔ ሞዳ ሜሄታ ሹካዳ ዲጊሳ ጊጊሳዲስ፤ ዉሪካ ጊጌቲዳ ጊሻስ ሳርጌሶ ሃ ዪቴ!› ጊዲ ዮቲቴ።
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 ጼይጌቲዳይቲ ጊዲኮ ኢዛ ጼይሳ ዉዳን ዬጎንታ ኣጊዲ ኢሶይ ባ ጎሻሶሆ፥ ኢሶይ ባ ዛልኤሶ ቢዴስ።
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ሃንኮ ኣቲዳይታ ኣሽካራቲ ኦይኪዲ ዳሮ ዋዪሲዲ ዎዳ።
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 «ካዎይካ ሃንቄቲዲ ዎታዳራታ ዬዲዲ ኣሽካራዛ ዎዳይታ ይሲዴስ፤ ኢስታ ካታማ ጹጊዴስ።
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 ባ ኣሽካራታካ፥ ‹ሳርጌዛ ዲጊሳይ ጊጊዴስ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ሳርጌዛሶ ጼይጌቲዳይቲ ሳርጌስ ቤሲዛይታ ጊዲቤቴና።
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ጌዴ ኦጌ ቦላ ኬዚዲ ኢንቴ ዴሚዳ ኣስ ኡባ ሃ ዲጊሳሶ ጼይጊቴ› ጊዴስ።
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ኣሽካራቲካ ኦጌ ቦላ ኬዚዲ ባ ዴሚዳይታ ሎኦታካ ኢታታካ ኡባ ሺሺዲ ሳርጌዛሶ ኢማ ኩንዳ።
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 «ካዎይካ ጼይጌቲዳ ኢማ ቤያናስ ሶ ጌሊዛ ዎዴ ሳርጌ ማይኦ ማይኦንታ ኣስ ዴሚዴስ።
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ‹ሃይሶ! ሳርጌ ማይኦ ማይኦንታ ዋናዳ ሃ ጌላናስ ዳንዳያዲ?› ጊ ኦይቺን ኣዴዛስ ዛራና ቃላይ ይዴስ።
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 ካዎይካ ባ ኣሽካራታ፥ ‹ሃይሳ ኣዴዛ ቶሆኔ ኩሼ ሺሺ ቃቺዲ ሄን ካሬን ዲዛ ማን ኬሲ ኦሊቴ፤ ሄን ዬሆኔ ኣቻ ጋርጬች ጊዳና።›
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 «ጼይጌቲዳይቲ ዳሮታ፤ ዶሬቲዳይቲ ጊዲኮ ጉታ» ጊ ዮቲዴስ።
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ፋርሳዌቲ ኬዚ ቢሼ፥ «ኢዛ ዶናፔ ባላ ቃላ ዎስቲ ዴሚ ኦይኪኖ?» ጊዲ ዞሬቲዳ።

16 ባና ካሊዛይታ ሄርዶሳ ኣሳታራ ኢዛኮ ኪቲዲ፥ «ኣስታማሬ! ኔኒ ቱማንቻኔ ጾሳ ኦጌ ቱማፔ ታማርሲዛዴ ጊዲዳይሳኔ ኦናስካ ዱማ ማዶ ኦንታ ኡባካ ኢሲ ማላ ኔ ጼሊዛይሳ ኑ ኤሮስ።
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 ኔስ ኣይ ሚሳቲዛኮ ኣኔ ኑስ ዮታ፤ ቄሳሬስ ጊራ ቃንጻናስ ቤሲዜ? ቤሴኔ?» ጊዳ።
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 ዬሱሲካ ኢስታ ጌኔ ቆፋ ኤሪዲ፥ «ኢንቴኖ ቆፔ ቆሞን ሃኒዛይቶ! ታና ዮኦን ባሌ ኦይካናስ ኣዛስ ኮዬቲ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ኢንቴ ጊራ ቃንጺዛ ሚሻ ኣኔ ታና ቤሲቴ» ጊን ኢስቲካ ኢሲ ዲናሬ ጌቴቲዛ ሚሽ ኢዛስ ኤሂዳ።
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ኢዚካ፥ «ሃይሳ ሚሻ ቦላ ዲዛ ሚስሌይኔ ጻፌቲዳ ሱንይ ኦናይሴ?» ጊዴስ።
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 ኢስቲካ ኢዛስ፥ «ቄሳሬይሳ» ጊዳ። ኢዚካ ኢስታስ ዛሪዲ፥ «ቄሳሬይሳ ቄሳሬስ፥ ጾሳይሳ ጾሳስ ኢሚቴ» ጊዴስ።
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 ሄሳ ሲዪዲ ኢስቲ ማላሌቲዲ ኢዛ ኣጊ ቢዳ።
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 «ሃይቂዳይታስ ዴንዶይ ባ» ጊዲ ኣማኒዛ ሳዱቃዌቲ ሄ ጋላስ ዬሱሳኮ ሺቂዲ፥

24 «ኣስታማሬ! ሙሴይ፥ ‹ኢሳዴይ ማቾ ኤኪዲ ና ዬሎንታ ሃይቂኮ ኢዛ ኢሻይ ሃይቂዳይሳ ማቾ ኤኪዲ ባ ኢሻ ላቲዛ ና ኢዛስ ዬሎ› ጊዴስ።
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ኑ ኣቻን ላፑን ኢሻቲ ዴቴስ ሺን ኮይሮ ኢሻይ ማቾ ኤኪዲ ና ዬሎንታ ሃይቂዳ ጊሻስ ካሎ ኢሻይ ኢዛ ማቼዮ ኤኪዴስ።
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ናምኣን ኢሻይካ ሃይቂዳ ኢሻ ና ዬሎንታ ሃይቂዴስ፤ ሄሳካ ሃኒሺን ማጫሳያ ላፑን ኢሻ ጌላዱስ።
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ዉርሴን ማጫሳያ ሃይቃዱስ።
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ሄሳ ጊሻስ ላፑናቲ ዉሪካ ኢዞ ኤኪዳሺን ሃይቆፔ ዴን ጋላስ ማጫሳያ ላፑናታፔ ኣዋይሳ ማቾ ጊዳኔ?» ጊዳ።
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 ዬሱሲካ ኢስታስ ዛሪዲ፥ «ጌሻ ማጻፋታኔ ጾሳ ዎልቃ ኢንቴ ኤሮንታ ጊሻስ ባሌቴታ።
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 ሃይቆፔ ዴንዲዳፔ ጉዬ ኣሳይ ሳሎ ኪታንቻታ ማላ ጊዳና ኣቲን ኤኬቴቴናኔ ጌሌቴና።
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 — ausente —
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ዴሬዚካ ሄሳ ሲዪዲ ኢዛ ቲሚርቴዛን ማላሌቲዴስ።
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 ዬሱሲ ሳዱቃዌታ ጮኡ ሂስቲዳይሳ ሲዪዲ ፋርሳዌቲ ኢሲ ቦላ ሺቄቲዳ።
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 — ausente —
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 — ausente —
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 ኢዚካ ዛሪዲ፥ « ‹ኔ ጎዳ ጾሳ ኔ ኩሜ ዎዚናፔ፥ ኔ ኩሜ ሼምፖፌ፥ ኔ ኩሜ ቆፋፔ ዶሳ።›
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ሃይሲ ኮይሮኔ ኡባፌ ኣዛ ኣዛዞ።
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ናምኣንይካ ኢዛ ሚሳቴስ፥ ሄሲካ፥ ‹ኔ ሾሮ ኔ ሁኤ ማላ ዶሳ› ጊዛይሳ።
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ሙሴ ዎጋይኔ ናቤታ ቲሚርቴይ ዉሪካ ሃይታ ናምኡ ኣዛዞታን ቃሼቴስ» ጊዴስ።
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ፋርሳዌቲ ኢሲ ቦላ ሺቄቲ ዲሺን ዬሱሲ ኢስታ፥
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 «ኪርስቶሳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ኣይ ጌቲ? ኢዚ ኦና ና?» ጊ ኦይቺዴስ፤ ኢስቲካ ኢዛስ ዛሪዲ፥ «ኢዚ ዳዊቴ ና» ጊዳ።
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!

43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 — ausente —
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ሄሳ ጊሻስ ዳዊቲ ኢዛ፥ ‹ታ ጎዳ› ጊዲ ጼይጊኮ ዋኒዲ ኢዛስ ና ጊዳና ዳንዳይዜ?»
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 ኢዛስ ኢሲ ቃላ ዛራና ዳንዳይዳ ኣሲ ዎይኮ ሄ ጋላሳፌ ሲሚን ኢዛ ኦይሾ ኦይቻና ጻሊዳ ኣሲ ኦኒካ ቤቲቤና።
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
