1 Moreover, in to{the days, the-there-s}, John the immerser is-becoming-aside, proclaiming in to{the desolate} of{the Judea}
1 Naqueles dias, apareceu João Batista pregando no deserto da Judeia e dizia:
2 and saying, "Be-changing-minds/thinking, for the kingdom of{the heavens} has-become-near,"
2 Arrependei-vos, porque está próximo o reino dos céus.
3 for the-same is-being the said through of{Isaiah the prophet, saying}, "Sound of{crying} in to{the desolate}. Prepare the way of{[the] Lord}, be-making straight the paths of{same}."
3 Porque este é o referido por intermédio do profeta Isaías: Voz do que clama no deserto: Preparai o caminho do Senhor, endireitai as suas veredas.
4 Moreover, same, the John, has-been-having the clothing of{same} from of{hairs} of{camel} and [a] leather belt around the hip of{same}; moreover, the nourishment of{same} has-been-being locusts and wild honey.
4 Usava João vestes de pelos de camelo e um cinto de couro; a sua alimentação eram gafanhotos e mel silvestre.
5 Then Jerusalem has-been-being-gone-out toward same and all the Judea and all the region-around of{the Jordan},
5 Então, saíam a ter com ele Jerusalém, toda a Judeia e toda a circunvizinhança do Jordão;
6 and they-have-been-being-immersed in to{the Jordan river} under of{same}, acknowledging-selves-out the sins of{same}.
6 e eram por ele batizados no rio Jordão, confessando os seus pecados.
7 Moreover, behold[ing] many of{the Pharisees and Sadducees} being-come, upon the immerse-effect of{same}, he-says to{same}, "Beget-effects of{vipers}, who[?] shows-under to{you} to-flee from of{the about-to-be-being wrath}[?]
7 Vendo ele, porém, que muitos fariseus e saduceus vinham ao batismo, disse-lhes: Raça de víboras, quem vos induziu a fugir da ira vindoura?
8 So, make worthwhile fruit of{the change-of-mind/thinking},
8 Produzi, pois, frutos dignos de arrependimento;
9 and you-should_not_esteem to-be-saying in to{sameselves}, 'We-are-having the father Abraham,' for I-am-saying to{you} that the God is-being-enabled to-rouse offsprings to{the Abraham} out of{the stones, the-same}.
9 e não comeceis a dizer entre vós mesmos: Temos por pai a Abraão; porque eu vos afirmo que destas pedras Deus pode suscitar filhos a Abraão.
10 Moreover, already also the axe is-being-lain toward the root of{the trees}; so, every tree not making good fruit is-being-cut-out and is-being-cast into fire.
10 Já está posto o machado à raiz das árvores; toda árvore, pois, que não produz bom fruto é cortada e lançada ao fogo.
11 On-one-hand I am-immersing you in to{water} into change-of-mind/thinking; on-the-other-hand the behind of{me}, being-come, is-being stronger of{me}, of{whom} I-am_not_being sufficient to-bear[weight] the footwear. Same will-immerse you in to{[the] Holy Spirit} and to{fire},
11 Eu vos batizo com água, para arrependimento; mas aquele que vem depois de mim é mais poderoso do que eu, cujas sandálias não sou digno de levar. Ele vos batizará com o Espírito Santo e com fogo.
12 of{whom} the winnowing-fork in to{the hand} of{same} also will-purge/cleanse-through the threshing-floor of{same} and will-gather the grain of{same} into the storehouse; moreover, he-will-burn-down the chaff to{unquenchable fire}."
12 A sua pá, ele a tem na mão e limpará completamente a sua eira; recolherá o seu trigo no celeiro, mas queimará a palha em fogo inextinguível.
13 Then the Jesus from of{the Galilee} is-becoming-aside/beside upon the Jordan toward the John, of{the} to-be-immersed under of{same}.
13 Por esse tempo, dirigiu-se Jesus da Galileia para o Jordão, a fim de que João o batizasse.
14 Moreover, the John has-been-hindering-through same, saying, "I am-having need under of{you} to-be-immersed and you are-being-come toward me[?]"
14 Ele, porém, o dissuadia, dizendo: Eu é que preciso ser batizado por ti, e tu vens a mim?
15 Moreover the Jesus, respond[ing], says toward same, "Let-off-from[i.e. consent] presently, for the-same-ly it-is-being fitting to{us} to-fulfill all justice-ness." Then he-is-letting-off-from[i.e. consenting] same.
15 Mas Jesus lhe respondeu: Deixa por enquanto, porque, assim, nos convém cumprir toda a justiça. Então, ele o admitiu.
16 Moreover, immersed, the Jesus straightaway ascends from of{the water} and, behold, the heavens are-opened-up to{same}, and he-beholds the Spirit of{the God} descending as-if [a] pigeon/dove and being-come upon same,
16 Batizado Jesus, saiu logo da água, e eis que se lhe abriram os céus, e viu o Espírito de Deus descendo como pomba, vindo sobre ele.
17 and, behold, [a] sound out of{the heavens}, saying, "The-same is-being the Son of{me}, the beloved, in to{whom} I-well-esteem."
17 E eis uma voz dos céus, que dizia: Este é o meu Filho amado, em quem me comprazo.
