¹ So, then, the Pilate takes the Jesus and scourges,

²¹ So, the chief-consecrateds[i.e. chief priests] of{the Judeans} have-been-saying to{the Pilate}, "Do_not_be-writing, 'The king of{the Judeans};' contrariwise, that the-there says, 'I-am-being king of{the Judeans}.'"

²¹ Então, diziam os principais sacerdotes dos judeus a Pilatos: Não escrevas: O Rei dos Judeus, mas que ele disse: Eu sou Rei dos Judeus.

²² The Pilate responds, "What I-have-written I-have-written."

²² Respondeu Pilatos: O que eu escrevi, eu escrevi.

²³ So, when the soldiers crucify the Jesus, they-take the outer-garments of{same} and make four parts, [a] part to{each soldier}, and the inner-garment; moreover, the inner-garment has-been-being seamless out of{the} up-place-ly interwoven[adjective] through of{whole}.

²³ Então os soldados, tendo crucificado a Jesus, tomaram as suas vestes, e fizeram quatro partes, para cada soldado uma parte, e também sua túnica; mas a túnica era sem costura, toda tecida de alto a baixo.

²⁴ So, they-say toward one-another, "We-should_not_split same; contrariwise, we-should-obtain[i.e. cast lot] about of{same}, of{whom} it-will-be," in-which-place the scripture may-be-fulfilled, the saying, "They-part/divide-through-selves the outer-garments of{me} to{sameselves} and upon the outer-garment-set of{me} they-cast lot." So, on-one-hand, the soldiers do the-same;

²⁶ So, Jesus, behold[ing] the mother and the disciple having-stood-beside, whom he-has-been-loving, is-saying to{the mother} of{same}, "Woman, behold, the son of{you}."

²⁶ Ora, Jesus, vendo ali sua mãe, e ao lado dela o discípulo a quem ele amava, ele disse à sua mãe: Mulher, eis o teu filho!

²⁷ Thereafter/accordingly, he-is-saying to{the disciple}, "Behold, the mother of{you}," and from of{the-there, the hour} the disciple takes same[feminine] into the own.

²⁷ Então ele disse ao discípulo: Eis a tua mãe! E desde aquela hora o discípulo a recebeu em sua própria casa.

²⁸ Depois disso, sabendo Jesus que todas as coisas já estavam terminadas, para que pudesse se cumprir a escritura, disse: Tenho sede.

²⁹ Ora, estava ali um vaso cheio de vinagre; e embeberam uma esponja de vinagre, e pondo-a sobre um hissopo, a colocaram na sua boca.

³⁰ So, when the Jesus takes the vinegar, he-says, "It-has-been-completed," and, lean[ing] the head, he-gives-aside/delivers the spirit/breath-effect.

³⁰ Quando Jesus tomou o vinagre, disse: Está consumado; e ele, inclinando a cabeça, entregou o espírito.

³¹ So, the Judeans, since it-has-been-being preparation, in-which-place the bodies should_not_remain upon of{the cross} in to{the sabbath}, for great has-been-being the day of{the-there, the sabbath}, ask the Pilate in-which-place the legs of{same} may-be-broken-down and they-may-be-lifted.

³¹ Os judeus, pois, porque era a preparação, para que os corpos não ficassem na cruz no dia do shabat, (porque foi aquele shabat um grande dia), pediram a Pilatos que se lhes quebrassem as pernas, e que fossem tirados dali.

³² So, the soldiers come and, on-one-hand, break-down the legs of{the first} and of{the other} of{the crucified-together} to{same}.

³² Foram então os soldados, e quebraram as pernas do primeiro, e do outro que com ele fora crucificado.

³³ On-the-other-hand, come[ing] upon the Jesus, as they-behold same already having-died, they-do_not_break-down the legs of{same}.

³³ Mas, vindo a Jesus, e vendo-o já morto, eles não quebraram as suas pernas.

³⁴ Contrariwise, one of{the soldiers} pierces the side to{spear-head/lance} of{same}, and straightaway blood and water comes-out,

³⁴ Mas, um dos soldados lhe perfurou o lado com uma lança, e imediatamente saiu sangue e água.

³⁵ and the having-seen has-witnessed and the witness-ia of{same} is-being genuine, and-the-there has-beheld that he-is-saying true, in-which-place also you may-believe,

³⁵ E aquele que o viu testificou, e o seu testemunho é verdadeiro; e ele sabe que é verdade o que diz, para que também vós o creiais.

³⁶ for the-same is-become in-which-place the scripture may-be-fulfilled, "[A] bone will_not_be-worn-down-together/broken/crushed of{same},"

³⁶ Pois estas coisas foram feitas, para que se cumprisse a escritura: Nenhum dos seus ossos será quebrado.

³⁷ and again [a] different-other scripture is-saying, "They-will-see into whom they-goad/prick/sting/stab-out."

³⁸ Moreover, alongside the-same, Joseph, the from of{Arimathea}, being [a] disciple of{the Jesus}, moreover having-been-hidden through the fear of{the Judeans}, asks the Pilate in-which-place he-may-lift the body of{the Jesus}, and the Pilate upon-turns, so he-comes and lifts the body of{the Jesus}.

³⁸ E depois disso, José de Arimateia, sendo discípulo de Jesus, mas em secreto, por medo dos judeus, pediu a Pilatos que lhe permitisse tirar o corpo de Jesus; e Pilatos o deixou. Portanto, ele foi e tomou o corpo de Jesus.

⁴² So, there, through the preparation of{the Judeans}, that the memorial has-been-being near, they-place the Jesus.
