1 E, como se determinou que navegássemos para a Itália, entregaram Paulo e alguns outros presos a um centurião por nome Júlio, da corte augusta.

3 No dia seguinte chegamos a Sidom, e Júlio, tratando Paulo com bondade, permitiu-lhe ir ver os amigos e receber deles os cuidados necessários.

4 Partindo dali, fomos navegando a sotavento de Chipre, porque os ventos eram contrários.

6 Ali o centurião achou um navio de Alexandria que navegava para a Itália, e nos fez embarcar nele.

7 Navegando vagarosamente por muitos dias, e havendo chegado com dificuldade defronte de Cnido, não nos permitindo o vento ir mais adiante, navegamos a sotavento de Creta, à altura de Salmone;

8 e, costeando-a com dificuldade, chegamos a um lugar chamado Bons Portos, perto do qual estava a cidade de Laséia.
9 Moreover, of{sufficient time become[ing]-through} and of{being} already of{the upon-failing/wavering/unassured[adjective] sailing[noun]}, through the also the fast already to-have-come-aside, the Paul has-been-advising,
9 Havendo decorrido muito tempo e tendo-se tornado perigosa a navegação, porque já havia passado o jejum, Paulo os advertia,
10 saying to{same}, "Men, I-am-observing that alongside of{rampage} and of{much penalty} not only of{the load} and of{the boat}; contrariwise, also of{the lives} of{us} to-be-being-about to-will-be the sailing[noun]."
10 dizendo-lhes: Senhores, vejo que a viagem vai ser com avaria e muita perda não só para a carga e o navio, mas também para as nossas vidas.
11 Moreover, the hundred-chief/centurion has-been-being-persuaded to{the helmsman/pilot} and to{the ship-possessor} more than to{the[plural] being-said} under of{the Paul}.
11 Mas o centurião dava mais crédito ao piloto e ao dono do navio do que às coisas que Paulo dizia.
12 Moreover, of{the haven/harbor originating-under un-well-placed} toward bad-weather/storm-aside, the more-than[plural] place[verb] intention to-be-led-up/anew, and-thence if how they-might-be-being-enabled, meet[ing]-according-to into Phoenix, to-bad-weather/storm-aside [a] haven/harbor of{the Crete} viewing according-to south/west and according-to region/north-west.
12 E não sendo o porto muito próprio para invernar, os mais deles foram de parecer que daí se fizessem ao mar para ver se de algum modo podiam chegar a Fênice, um porto de Creta que olha para o nordeste e para o sueste, para ali invernar.
13 Moreover, of{south/southwest blow[ing]-under/gently}, esteem[ing] of{the place-forth-sis[i.e. state of placing forth]} to-have-been-seized, lift[ing], they-have-been-skirting closer-to the Crete[feminine].
13 Soprando brandamente o vento sul, e supondo eles terem alcançado o que desejavam, levantaram ferro e iam costeando Creta bem de perto.

15 e, sendo arrebatado o navio e não podendo navegar contra o vento, cedemos à sua força e nos deixávamos levar.

16 Correndo a sota-vento de uma pequena ilha chamada Clauda, somente a custo pudemos segurar o batel,
17 which, lift[ing] to{supports}, they-have-been-being-required, under-girding the boat, besides fearing not into the Syrtis they-would-fall-out, loosen[ing]/lower[ing] the vessel the-same-ly they-have-been-being-carried.
17 o qual recolheram, usando então os meios disponíveis para cingir o navio; e, temendo que fossem lançados na Sirte, arriaram os aparelhos e se deixavam levar.
18 Moreover, vehemently of{us being-storm-ized} to{the} next/consecutive, they-have-been-doing cast-out,
18 Como fôssemos violentamente açoitados pela tempestade, no dia seguinte começaram a alijar a carga ao mar.
19 and to{the third}, same-hands toss the equipment of{the boat}.
19 E ao terceiro dia, com as próprias mãos lançaram os aparelhos do navio.
20 Moreover, neither of{sun} nor of{stars revealing-upon} upon many-more days, besides of{bad-weather/storm}, not of{scant being-lain-upon}, all remaining expectation of{the} us to-be-being-saved has-been-being-lifted-around.
20 Não aparecendo por muitos dia nem sol nem estrelas, e sendo nós ainda batidos por grande tempestade, fugiu-nos afinal toda a esperança de sermos salvos.
21 Besides of{much undertaking without-grain-ia}, then the Paul, be[ing]-stood in to{midst} of{same}, says, "It-has-been-necessitating, on-one-hand, oh men, yield[ing]/obey[ing] to{me}, not to-be-being-led-up/anew from of{the Crete}, both to-gain the rampage, the-same, and the penalty,
21 Havendo eles estado muito tempo sem comer, Paulo, pondo-se em pé no meio deles, disse: Senhores, devíeis ter-me ouvido e não ter partido de Creta, para evitar esta avaria e perda.
22 and the[plural] now I-am-advising you to-be-well-desiring, for out of{you} not-one cast-off/away of{life} will-be, more-ly of{the boat},
22 E agora vos exorto a que tenhais bom ânimo, pois não se perderá vida alguma entre vós, mas somente o navio.
23 for [a] messenger of{the God} of{whom} I-am-being, to{whom} also I-am-rendering-employment, stands-beside to{me} to{the night, the-same},
23 Porque esta noite me apareceu um anjo do Deus de quem eu sou e a quem sirvo,
24 saying, 'Do_not_be-fearing, Paul. To{Caesar} it-is-necessitating you to-stand-beside and, behold, the God has-been-favor-ized to{you} all the sailing alongside of{you}.'
24 dizendo: Não temas, Paulo, importa que compareças perante César, e eis que Deus te deu todos os que navegam contigo.
25 Through-which, be-well-desiring, men, for I-am-believing/entrusting to{the God} that the-same-ly it-will-be, according-to which manner it-has-been-spoken to{me}.
25 Portanto, senhores, tende bom ânimo; pois creio em Deus que há de suceder assim como me foi dito.

26 Contudo é necessário irmos dar em alguma ilha.
27 Moreover, as [the] fourteenth night becomes of{us being-carried-through} in to{the Adria} according-to midst of{the night} they-have-been-suspecting/supposing the sailers/seamen to-be-leading-toward some to{same} region,
27 Quando chegou a décima quarta noite, sendo nós ainda impelidos pela tempestade no mar de Ádria, pela meia-noite, suspeitaram os marinheiros a proximidade de terra;
28 and, dart-ize[ing]/take[ing]-soundings, they-discover twenty fathoms. Moreover, [a] bit stand[ing]-through and, again, dart-ize[ing]/take[ing]-soundings, discover fifteen fathoms.
28 e lançando a sonda, acharam vinte braças; passando um pouco mais adiante, e tornando a lançar a sonda, acharam quinze braças.
29 Besides fearing lest where according-to rough places we-may-fall-out out of{[the] stern}, toss[ing] four anchors, they-have-been-vowing day to-become.
29 Ora, temendo irmos dar em rochedos, lançaram da popa quatro âncoras, e esperaram ansiosos que amanhecesse.
30 Moreover, of{the sailers/seamen seeking} to-flee out of{the boat} and of{loosen[ing]/lower[ing]} the skiff into the seawater, to{reveal-before-sis[i.e. pretext]} as out of{[the] prow} of{being-about} to-be-stretching-out anchors,
30 Procurando, entrementes, os marinheiros fugir do navio, e tendo arriado o batel ao mar sob pretexto de irem lançar âncoras pela proa,
31 the Paul says to{the hundred-chief/centurion} and to{the soldiers}, "If-supposing not the-same[plural] may-stay in to{the boat}, you[plural] are_not_being-enabled to-be-saved."
31 disse Paulo ao centurião e aos soldados: Se estes não ficarem no navio, não podereis salvar-vos.
32 Then the soldiers cut-off/away the rush-cordlets/ropelets of{the skiff} and allow same to-fall-out.
32 Então os soldados cortaram os cabos do batel e o deixaram cair.
33 Moreover, even-to of{which} day has-been-being-about to-be-becoming, the Paul has-been-calling-aside emphatically-all to-take-across of{nourishment}, saying, "Today, fourteenth day, esteeming-toward, without-grain you-are-completing-through take[ing]-toward nothing,
33 Enquanto amanhecia, Paulo rogava a todos que comessem alguma coisa, dizendo: É já hoje o décimo quarto dia que esperais e permaneceis em jejum, não havendo provado coisa alguma.
34 through-which I-am-calling-aside you to-take-across of{nourishment}, for the-same toward of{the your salvation} he-is-undertaking, for of{not-one} of{you} [a] hair from of{the head} will-perish-off/away."
34 Rogo-vos, portanto, que comais alguma coisa, porque disso depende a vossa segurança; porque nem um cabelo cairá da cabeça de qualquer de vós.
35 Moreover, say[ing] the-same and take[ing] bread, he-well-favors/gives-thanks to{the God} in-sight of{all} and, break[ing], initiates to-be-eating.
35 E, havendo dito isto, tomou o pão, deu graças a Deus na presença de todos e, partindo-o começou a comer.
36 Moreover, become[ing] well-desirous, the-same all also take-toward-selves of{nourishment}.
36 Então todos cobraram ânimo e se puseram também a comer.
37 Moreover, we-have-been-being in to{the boat}, the all, two-hundred seventy six lives.
37 Éramos ao todo no navio duzentas e setenta e seis almas.
38 Moreover, satiated of{nourishment}, they-have-been-lightening the boat, casting-out the grain into the seawater.
38 Depois de saciados com a comida, começaram a aliviar o navio, alijando o trigo no mar.
39 Moreover, when day becomes, they-have_not_been-knowing-upon[i.e. recognizing] the land; moreover, they-have-been-thinking-according-to/considering some bosom/lap/hollow having [a] shore into which they-intend, if they-might-be-being-enabled, to-thrust-out the boat,
39 Quando amanheceu, não reconheciam a terra; divisavam, porém, uma enseada com uma praia, e consultavam se poderiam nela encalhar o navio.
40 and lift[ing]-around the anchors, they-have-been-allowing into the seawater, at-the-same-time let[ing]-up the yokes/harnesses/couplings of{the rudders} and, lift[ing]-upon the foresail to{the blowing}, they-have-been-holding-down/according-to into the shore.
40 Soltando as âncoras, deixaram-nas no mar, largando ao mesmo tempo as amarras do leme; e, içando ao vento a vela da proa, dirigiram-se para a praia.
41 Moreover, fall[ing]-around into [a] two-seawater place, they-run-aground-upon the ship and, on-one-hand, the prow, press[ing], stays unshaken; on-the-other-hand, the stern has-been-being-loosed under of{the force} of{the waves}.
41 Dando, porém, num lugar onde duas correntes se encontravam, encalharam o navio; e a proa, encravando-se, ficou imóvel, mas a popa se desfazia com a força das ondas.
42 Moreover, intention of{the soldiers} becomes, in-which-place they-may-be-killing-off/away the bound/captives lest anyone, dive[ing]/plunge[ing]-out, might-flee-through.
42 Então o parecer dos soldados era que matassem os presos para que nenhum deles fugisse, escapando a nado.
43 Moreover, the hundred-chief/centurion, intending to-through-save the Paul, hinders same of{the intend-effect}. Besides, he-orders the being-enabled to-be-diving/plunging, toss[ing]-off/away first upon the land to-be-being-out,
43 Mas o centurião, querendo salvar a Paulo, estorvou-lhes este intento; e mandou que os que pudessem nadar fossem os primeiros a lançar-se ao mar e alcançar a terra;
44 and the remaining, on-one-hand, whom upon to{boards/planks}; on-the-other-hand, whom upon of{somethings, the} from of{the boat}, and the-same-ly becomes, all to-be-through-saved upon the land
44 e que os demais se salvassem, uns em tábuas e outros em quaisquer destroços do navio. Assim chegaram todos à terra salvos.
