1 My brethren, (it is) the wish of my heart, and my prayer to Aloha concerning them, that they may be saved.
1 Irmãos, o desejo do meu coração e a minha oração a Deus pelos israelitas é que eles sejam salvos.
2 For I testify of them that they have zeal for Aloha, but not in knowledge.
2 Pois posso testemunhar que eles têm zelo por Deus, mas o seu zelo não se baseia no conhecimento.
3 But the righteousness of Aloha they know not, but seek the righteousness of themselves to establish, and on this account to the righteousness of Aloha they have not become subject.
3 Porquanto, ignorando a justiça que vem de Deus e procurando estabelecer a sua própria, não se submeteram à justiça de Deus.
4 For the end of the law is the Meshiha unto righteousness in all who believe in him.
4 Porque o fim da lei é Cristo, para a justificação de todo o que crê.
5 FOR Musha thus describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that he who doeth these things shall live by them.
5 Moisés descreve desta forma a justiça que vem da lei: "O homem que fizer estas coisas viverá por meio delas".
6 But the righteousness which is by faith thus speaketh, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven, And bring down the Meshiha?
6 Mas a justiça que vem da fé diz: "Não diga em seu coração: ‘Quem subirá ao céu? ’ ( isto é, para fazer Cristo descer )
7 And who shall descend into the deep of Sheul, And bring up the Meshiha from among the dead?
7 ou ‘Quem descerá ao abismo? ’ " ( isto é, para fazer subir Cristo dentre os mortos ).
8 But what saith it? Nigh thee is the word of thy mouth and of thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.
8 Mas o que ela diz? "A palavra está perto de você; está em sua boca e em seu coração", isto é, a palavra da fé que estamos proclamando:
9 And if thou wilt confess with thy mouth our Lord Jeshu, and wilt believe with thy heart that Aloha hath raised him from among the dead, thou shalt be saved.
9 Se você confessar com a sua boca que Jesus é Senhor e crer em seu coração que Deus o ressuscitou dentre os mortos, será salvo.
10 For the heart which believeth in him is justified, and the mouth which confesseth him is saved.
10 Pois com o coração se crê para justiça, e com a boca se confessa para salvação.
11 For the scripture saith, that every one who believeth in him shall not be ashamed.
11 Como diz a Escritura: "Todo o que nele confia jamais será envergonhado".
12 And in this he hath not distinguished nor the Jihudoya nor the Aramoya; for one is the Lord of them all, who is rich toward every one who calleth on him.
12 Não há diferença entre judeus e gentios, pois o mesmo Senhor é Senhor de todos e abençoa ricamente todos os que o invocam,
13 For every one who shall invoke the name of the Lord shall be saved.
13 porque "todo aquele que invocar o nome do Senhor será salvo".
14 How then shall they invoke him in whom they have not believed? Or how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? Or how shall they hear without a preacher?
14 Como, pois, invocarão aquele em quem não creram? E como crerão naquele de quem não ouviram falar? E como ouvirão, se não houver quem pregue?
15 Or how shall they preach if they are not sent? As it is written, How beautiful the feet of them who evangelize peace, And who evangelize good things!
15 E como pregarão, se não forem enviados? Como está escrito: "Como são belos os pés dos que anunciam boas novas! "
16 But all of them have not obeyed the preaching of the gospel: for Eshaia saith, My Lord, who hath believed our voice?
16 No entanto, nem todos os israelitas aceitaram as boas novas. Pois Isaías diz: "Senhor, quem creu em nossa mensagem? "
17 Therefore faith is from the hearing of the ear, and the hearing of the ear from the word of Aloha.
17 Conseqüentemente, a fé vem por ouvir a mensagem, e a mensagem é ouvida mediante a palavra de Cristo.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Behold, in all the earth their voice hath gone forth, And to the ends of the world their words!
18 Mas eu pergunto: Eles não a ouviram? Claro que sim: "A sua voz ressoou por toda a terra, e as suas palavras, até os confins do mundo".
19 But I say, Hath not Israel known? First, Musha thus speaketh, I will provoke you by a people who is not a people. And by the disobedient people will I make you angry.
19 Novamente pergunto: Será que Israel não entendeu? Moisés foi o primeiro que disse: "Farei que tenham ciúmes de quem não é meu povo; eu os provocarei à ira por meio de um povo sem entendimento".
20 But Eshaia is bold, and saith, I am beheld by them who have not sought me, And found of them who for me have not inquired.
20 E Isaías diz ousadamente: "Fui achado por aqueles que não me procuravam; revelei-me àqueles que não perguntavam por mim".
21 But of Israel he saith, I have stretched out my hands all the day To a contentious and disobedient people.
21 Mas a respeito de Israel, ele diz: "O tempo todo estendi as mãos a um povo desobediente e rebelde".
