1 My brethren, (it is) the wish of my heart, and my prayer to Aloha concerning them, that they may be saved.
1 Meus irmãos, desejo de todo o coração que o meu próprio povo seja salvo. E peço a Deus em favor deles
2 For I testify of them that they have zeal for Aloha, but not in knowledge.
2 porque eu sou testemunha de que eles são muito dedicados a Deus. Mas a dedicação deles não está baseada no verdadeiro conhecimento,
3 But the righteousness of Aloha they know not, but seek the righteousness of themselves to establish, and on this account to the righteousness of Aloha they have not become subject.
3 pois eles não conhecem a maneira como Deus aceita as pessoas e assim têm procurado conseguir isso da sua própria maneira. Eles rejeitaram o modo de Deus aceitar as pessoas.
4 For the end of the law is the Meshiha unto righteousness in all who believe in him.
4 Porque, com Cristo, a lei chegou ao fim, e assim os que creem é que são aceitos por Deus.
5 FOR Musha thus describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that he who doeth these things shall live by them.
5 Pois o que Moisés escreveu a respeito de as pessoas serem aceitas por Deus pela obediência à lei foi isto: “Viverá aquele que fizer o que a lei manda.”
6 But the righteousness which is by faith thus speaketh, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven, And bring down the Meshiha?
6 Porém, quanto a ser aceito por Deus por meio da fé, Moisés diz o seguinte: “Não fique pensando assim: quem vai subir até o céu?”, isto é, para trazer Cristo do céu.
7 And who shall descend into the deep of Sheul, And bring up the Meshiha from among the dead?
7 “Nem pergunte: quem descerá ao mundo lá de baixo?”, isto é, para fazer com que Cristo suba do mundo dos mortos .
8 But what saith it? Nigh thee is the word of thy mouth and of thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.
8 O que Moisés diz é isto: “A mensagem de Deus está perto de você, nos seus lábios e no seu coração” — isto é, a mensagem de fé que anunciamos.
9 And if thou wilt confess with thy mouth our Lord Jeshu, and wilt believe with thy heart that Aloha hath raised him from among the dead, thou shalt be saved.
9 Se você disser com a sua boca: “Jesus é Senhor” e no seu coração crer que Deus ressuscitou Jesus, você será salvo.
10 For the heart which believeth in him is justified, and the mouth which confesseth him is saved.
10 Porque nós cremos com o coração e somos aceitos por Deus; falamos com a boca e assim somos salvos.
11 For the scripture saith, that every one who believeth in him shall not be ashamed.
11 Porque as Escrituras Sagradas dizem: “Quem crer nele não ficará desiludido.”
12 And in this he hath not distinguished nor the Jihudoya nor the Aramoya; for one is the Lord of them all, who is rich toward every one who calleth on him.
12 Isso vale para todos, pois não existe nenhuma diferença entre judeus e não judeus. Deus é o mesmo Senhor de todos e abençoa generosamente todos os que pedem a sua ajuda.
13 For every one who shall invoke the name of the Lord shall be saved.
13 Como dizem as Escrituras Sagradas: “Todos os que pedirem a ajuda do Senhor serão salvos.”
14 How then shall they invoke him in whom they have not believed? Or how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? Or how shall they hear without a preacher?
14 Mas como é que as pessoas irão pedir, se não crerem nele? E como poderão crer, se não ouvirem a mensagem? E como poderão ouvir, se a mensagem não for anunciada?
15 Or how shall they preach if they are not sent? As it is written, How beautiful the feet of them who evangelize peace, And who evangelize good things!
15 E como é que a mensagem será anunciada, se não forem enviados mensageiros? As Escrituras Sagradas dizem: “Como é bonito ver os mensageiros trazendo boas notícias!”
16 But all of them have not obeyed the preaching of the gospel: for Eshaia saith, My Lord, who hath believed our voice?
16 Mas nem todos aceitam a boa notícia do evangelho . Foi Isaías quem disse: “Senhor, quem creu na nossa mensagem?”
17 Therefore faith is from the hearing of the ear, and the hearing of the ear from the word of Aloha.
17 Portanto, a fé vem por ouvir a mensagem, e a mensagem vem por meio da pregação a respeito de Cristo.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Behold, in all the earth their voice hath gone forth, And to the ends of the world their words!
18 Mas eu pergunto: será que eles não ouviram a mensagem? É claro que ouviram! Como dizem as Escrituras: “A voz deles se espalhou pelo mundo inteiro; as suas palavras alcançaram a terra toda.”
19 But I say, Hath not Israel known? First, Musha thus speaketh, I will provoke you by a people who is not a people. And by the disobedient people will I make you angry.
19 Eu pergunto ainda: será que o povo de Israel não soube disso? Moisés foi o primeiro a dar uma resposta. Ele disse: “Eu farei com que vocês fiquem com ciúmes de um povo que não é uma nação; farei com que fiquem com raiva de uma nação de gente sem juízo.”
20 But Eshaia is bold, and saith, I am beheld by them who have not sought me, And found of them who for me have not inquired.
20 E Isaías foi mais corajoso ao anunciar o que Deus disse: “Eu fui achado por aqueles que não me procuravam e apareci aos que não perguntavam por mim.”
21 But of Israel he saith, I have stretched out my hands all the day To a contentious and disobedient people.
21 Mas, a respeito de Israel, Deus disse: “O dia inteiro eu abri os braços, pronto para receber um povo desobediente e rebelde.”
