Gálatas 1
The Peschito Syriac New Testament (ETHERIDGE) vs NVT
1 Paulos, an apostle, not from men, nor by men, but by Jeshu the Meshiha, and Aloha his Father, who raised him from among the dead,
1 Eu, Paulo, apóstolo, nomeado não por um grupo de pessoas, nem por alguma autoridade humana, mas pelo próprio Jesus Cristo e por Deus, o Pai, que ressuscitou Jesus dos mortos,
2 and all the brethren who are with me, to the churches which are in Galatia:
2 escrevo esta carta, com todos os irmãos que estão comigo, às igrejas da Galácia.
3 Grace be with you and peace, from Aloha the Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,
3 Que Deus, o Pai, e nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo lhes deem graça e paz.
4 who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from this evil world, according to the will of Aloha our Father:
4 Jesus entregou sua vida por nossos pecados, a fim de nos resgatar deste mundo mau, conforme Deus, nosso Pai, havia planejado.
5 to whom be glory to the age of ages. Amen.
5 Toda a glória a Deus para todo o sempre! Amém.
6 I am amazed how soon you have been turned from the Meshiha himself, who called you by his grace,
6 Admiro-me que vocês estejam se afastando tão depressa daquele que os chamou para si por meio da graça de Cristo. Vocês estão seguindo um caminho diferente que se faz passar pelas boas-novas,
7 unto another gospel, which it is not; but there are men who disturb you, and (who) wish to remove you from the gospel of the Meshiha.
7 mas que não são boas-novas de maneira nenhuma. Estão sendo perturbados por aqueles que distorcem deliberadamente as boas-novas de Cristo.
8 But if we also, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you other than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
8 Que seja amaldiçoado qualquer um, incluindo nós, ou mesmo um anjo do céu, que anunciar boas-novas diferentes das que nós lhes anunciamos.
9 As I have said before, and now again say to you, If any man preach to you other than what you have received, let him be accursed.
9 Repito o que disse antes: se alguém anunciar boas-novas diferentes das que vocês receberam, que seja amaldiçoado.
10 For now do I persuade men, or Aloha? or do I seek to please men? For if until now I had pleased men, I should not have been the servant of the Meshiha.
10 Acaso estou tentando conquistar a aprovação das pessoas? Ou será que procuro a aprovação de Deus? Se meu objetivo fosse agradar as pessoas, não seria servo de Cristo.
11 But I make known to you, my brethren, that the gospel which is preached by me was not from man:
11 Irmãos, quero que vocês entendam que a mensagem das boas-novas por mim anunciada não provém do raciocínio humano.
12 for neither from man had I received it and taught it, but by the revelation of Jeshu the Meshiha.
12 Não a recebi de fonte humana, e ninguém a ensinou a mim. Ao contrário, eu a recebi por revelação de Jesus Cristo.
13 For you have heard of my former manners in Judaism, that I exceedingly persecuted the church of Aloha, and made it desolate.
13 Vocês sabem como eu era quando seguia a religião judaica, como perseguia com violência a igreja de Deus. Não media esforços para destruí-la.
14 And I excelled in Judaism more than many of the sons of my years who were of my kindred, and was exceedingly zealous for the doctrine of my fathers.
14 Superava a muitos dos judeus de minha geração, sendo extremamente zeloso pelas tradições de meus antepassados.
15 But, when He willed who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
15 Contudo, ainda antes de eu nascer, Deus me escolheu e me chamou por sua graça. Foi do agrado dele
16 to reveal his Son in me, that I should preach among the nations, immediately I did not disclose to flesh and to blood;
16 revelar seu Filho a mim, para que eu o anunciasse aos gentios. Quando isso aconteceu, não consultei ser humano algum.
17 neither went I to Urishlem, to the apostles who were before me, but I went into Arabia, and again returned unto Darmsuk.
17 Tampouco subi a Jerusalém para pedir o conselho daqueles que eram apóstolos antes de mim. Em vez disso, fui à Arábia e depois voltei à cidade de Damasco.
18 And after three years I went unto Urishlem, that I might see Kipha, and I remained with him days fifteen.
18 Então, passados três anos, fui a Jerusalém para conhecer Pedro, com quem permaneci quinze dias.
19 But others of the apostles I saw not, only Jakub, the brother of our Lord.
19 O único outro apóstolo que vi naquela ocasião foi Tiago, irmão do Senhor.
20 But these which I write to you, behold, before Aloha, that I lie not.
20 Afirmo diante de Deus que o que lhes escrevo não é mentira.
21 And after these I went to the regions of Syria and of Cilicia.
21 Depois disso, fui às províncias da Síria e da Cilícia.
22 Neither did the churches of Jihud which are in the Meshiha know me by face.
22 As igrejas em Cristo que estão na Judeia ainda não me conheciam pessoalmente.
23 But this only they had heard, that he who had formerly persecuted us, behold, now preacheth he that faith which he beforetime had overthrown.
23 Sabiam apenas o que as pessoas diziam: “Aquele que nos perseguia agora anuncia a mesma fé que antes tentava destruir”.
24 And in me they glorified Aloha.
24 E louvavam a Deus por minha causa.
