1 PAULOS, the bondman of Jeshu Meshiha, and the brother Timotheos, to the beloved Philemon, our fellow-labourer,
1 Paulo, prisioneiro de Cristo Jesus, e o irmão Timóteo, ao amado Filemom, que é também nosso colaborador,
2 and to our beloved Aphia, and to Arkipos our fellowlabourer,1 and to the church which is in thy house.
2 à igreja que se reúne em sua casa, à irmã Áfia e a Arquipo, nosso companheiro de lutas.
3 Grace be with thee, and peace, from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
3 Que a graça e a paz de Deus, nosso Pai, e do Senhor Jesus Cristo estejam com vocês.
4 I give thanks to Aloha at all time, and remember thee in my prayers.
4 Dou graças ao meu Deus, lembrando sempre de você nas minhas orações,
5 Behold, from (the time) when I heard of thy faith, and the love which thou hast to our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and to all the saints,
5 porque tenho ouvido falar da fé que você tem no Senhor Jesus e do seu amor por todos os santos.
6 (I have prayed) that there may be communication of thy faith (in) yielding fruits, in works and in the (manifestation of the) knowledge of all good which thou hast in Jeshu Meshiha.
6 Oro para que a comunhão da sua fé se torne eficaz no pleno conhecimento de todo o bem que há em nós, para com Cristo.
7 For we have great joy and consolation, that by thy love the bowels of the saints are refreshed.
7 Pois, irmão, o seu amor me trouxe grande alegria e consolo, visto que o coração dos santos tem sido reanimado por você.
8 Wherefore I have great confidence in the Meshiha to command thee those acts which are righteous,
8 Pois bem, ainda que eu sinta plena liberdade em Cristo para ordenar a você o que convém ser feito,
9 but for love's sake entreating I entreat of thee, I, Paulos, who am the aged as thou knowest, but now also the bondman of Jeshu Meshiha.
9 prefiro, no entanto, pedir em nome do amor, sendo o que sou, Paulo, o velho, e agora também prisioneiro de Cristo Jesus.
10 And I entreat of thee for my son, whom I have begotten in my bonds, Onesimos,
10 Faço um pedido em favor de meu filho Onésimo, que gerei entre algemas.
11 who once was of no use to thee, but (who will) now to thee, as also to me, be greatly useful;
11 Antes, ele era inútil para você; atualmente, porém, é útil, para você e para mim.
12 and I have sent him to thee. But thou, as (one) who is my offspring, so receive him.
12 Eu o estou mandando de volta a você — ele, quero dizer, o meu próprio coração.
13 For I would have retained him with me, that he might have served me for thy sake in the bonds of the gospel;
13 Eu queria conservá-lo comigo, para que ele me servisse em seu lugar nas algemas que carrego por causa do evangelho.
14 but without thy counsel I was not willing to do any thing, that thy goodness might not be as by constraint, but of thy will.
14 Mas não quis fazer nada sem o seu consentimento, para que a sua bondade não venha a ser como que uma obrigação, mas algo que é feito de livre vontade.
15 But, perhaps, for this he passed away for an hour, that thou mayest hold him for ever;
15 Talvez ele tenha sido afastado de você temporariamente, a fim de que você o receba para sempre,
16 not henceforth as a servant, but as more than a servant, a beloved brother of mine, and how much more of thine, both in the flesh and in our Lord!
16 não como escravo, mas, muito mais do que escravo, como irmão caríssimo, especialmente de mim e, com maior razão, de você, quer como ser humano, quer como irmão no Senhor.
17 If then thou art with me a partaker, receive him as mine.
17 Portanto, se você me considera companheiro, receba-o como receberia a mim.
18 And if of any thing he hath deprived thee, or oweth, that reckon unto me.
18 E, se ele causou algum dano a você ou lhe deve alguma coisa, ponha tudo na minha conta.
19 I, Paulos, have written with my hands, I will repay thee; for I will not tell thee that thou owest thyself to me.
19 Eu, Paulo, de próprio punho, escrevo isto: Eu pagarei. É claro que não preciso dizer que você me deve a própria vida.
20 Yes, my brother, I will be refreshed by thee in our Lord; refresh my bowels in the Meshiha.
20 Sim, irmão, que eu receba de você, no Senhor, este benefício. Reanime o meu coração em Cristo.
21 Because I am confident of thy hearing me, I have written to thee, and I know that more than I have asked thou wilt do.
21 Certo, como estou, da sua obediência, eu escrevo a você, sabendo que fará mais do que estou pedindo.
22 But at once also prepare me a house of lodging, for I hope through your prayers I shall be given to you.
22 E, ao mesmo tempo, prepare-me também pousada, pois espero que, por meio das orações de vocês, eu lhes seja restituído.
23 Epaphra, a captive with me in Jeshu Meshiha,
23 Epafras, prisioneiro comigo, em Cristo Jesus,
24 and Markos, and Aristarkos, and Dema, and Luka, my helpers, ask for your peace.
24 Marcos, Aristarco, Demas e Lucas, meus colaboradores, mandam saudações a você.
25 The grace of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha be with your spirit, my brethren. Amen.
25 A graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com o espírito de todos vocês.
