1 The psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord; Sit thou on my right side. Till I put thine enemies a stool of thy feet. (\+em A song by David\+em*. The Lord said to my lord, Sit thou at my right hand; until I make thy enemies into thy footstool.)
1 Salmo de Davi. Eis o oráculo do Senhor que se dirige a meu senhor: Assenta-te à minha direita, até que eu faça de teus inimigos o escabelo de teus pés.
2 The Lord shall send out from Zion the rod of thy virtue; be thou lord in the midst of thine enemies. (The Lord shall send out from Zion the sceptre, \+em or the symbol\+em*, of thy strength; and thou shalt be the lord, \+em or the ruler\+em*, in the midst of thy enemies.)
2 O Senhor estenderá desde Sião teu cetro poderoso: Dominarás, disse ele, até no meio de teus inimigos.
3 The beginning is with thee in the day of thy virtue, in the brightnesses of saints; I begat thee of the womb, before the day star. (From the beginning, thy strength was with thee, and from that day thou hast shone in the brightness of the saints; yea, I begat thee from the womb, before the day star.)
3 No dia de teu nascimento, já possuis a realeza no esplendor da santidade; semelhante ao orvalho, eu te gerei antes da aurora.
4 The Lord swore, and it shall not repent him; Thou art a priest [into] without end, by the order of Melchizedek. (The Lord swore, and he shall never repent for saying, Thou art a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.)
4 O Senhor jurou e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedec.
5 The Lord on thy right side; hath broken kings in the day of his vengeance. (The Lord at thy right hand, hath broken kings in the day of his vengeance or shall break kings in the day of his vengeance.)
5 O Senhor está à tua direita: ele destruirá os reis no dia de sua cólera.
6 He shall deem among nations, he shall fill (the land with) fallings; he shall shake heads in the land of many men. (He shall judge among the nations, he shall fill the land with the fallen; he shall wound those who be the chiefs, \+em or the leaders\+em*, in many lands.)
6 Julgará os povos pagãos, empilhará cadáveres; por toda a terra esmagará cabeças.
7 He drank of the strand in the way; therefore he enhanced the head. (The king shall drink from the stream beside the way; and then he shall hold up his head in victory or and then he shall hold his head up high.)
