1 The psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord; Sit thou on my right side. Till I put thine enemies a stool of thy feet. (\+em A song by David\+em*. The Lord said to my lord, Sit thou at my right hand; until I make thy enemies into thy footstool.)
1 Disse o Senhor ao meu Senhor: Assenta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha os teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés.
2 The Lord shall send out from Zion the rod of thy virtue; be thou lord in the midst of thine enemies. (The Lord shall send out from Zion the sceptre, \+em or the symbol\+em*, of thy strength; and thou shalt be the lord, \+em or the ruler\+em*, in the midst of thy enemies.)
2 O Senhor enviará de Sião o cetro do teu poder. Domina no meio dos teus inimigos.
3 The beginning is with thee in the day of thy virtue, in the brightnesses of saints; I begat thee of the womb, before the day star. (From the beginning, thy strength was with thee, and from that day thou hast shone in the brightness of the saints; yea, I begat thee from the womb, before the day star.)
3 O teu povo apresentar-se-á voluntariamente no dia do teu poder, em trajes santos; como vindo do próprio seio da alva, será o orvalho da tua mocidade.
4 The Lord swore, and it shall not repent him; Thou art a priest [into] without end, by the order of Melchizedek. (The Lord swore, and he shall never repent for saying, Thou art a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.)
4 Jurou o Senhor, e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
5 The Lord on thy right side; hath broken kings in the day of his vengeance. (The Lord at thy right hand, hath broken kings in the day of his vengeance or shall break kings in the day of his vengeance.)
5 O Senhor, à tua direita, quebrantará reis no dia da sua ira.
6 He shall deem among nations, he shall fill (the land with) fallings; he shall shake heads in the land of many men. (He shall judge among the nations, he shall fill the land with the fallen; he shall wound those who be the chiefs, \+em or the leaders\+em*, in many lands.)
6 Julgará entre as nações; enchê-las-á de cadáveres; quebrantará os cabeças por toda a terra.
7 He drank of the strand in the way; therefore he enhanced the head. (The king shall drink from the stream beside the way; and then he shall hold up his head in victory or and then he shall hold his head up high.)
7 Pelo caminho beberá da corrente, e prosseguirá de cabeça erguida.
