1 For the law having, (or containing, or being but) a shadow of (the) good things to come, not that image of things, may never make men nighing [or coming nigh] perfect by those same sacrifices, (or can never make those who approach become perfect by those same sacrifices), which they offer without ceasing by all years;
1 Ora, visto que a lei tem sombra dos bens vindouros, não a imagem real das coisas, nunca jamais pode tornar perfeitos os ofertantes, com os mesmos sacrifícios que, ano após ano, perpetuamente, eles oferecem.
2 (or) else they should have ceased to be offered, for as much as the worshippers cleansed once, had not furthermore conscience of sin.
2 Doutra sorte, não teriam cessado de ser oferecidos, porquanto os que prestam culto, tendo sido purificados uma vez por todas, não mais teriam consciência de pecados?
3 But in them [by oft offering], (the) mind of sins is made by all years (or a remembrance of sins is made year after year).
3 Entretanto, nesses sacrifícios faz-se recordação de pecados todos os anos,
4 For it is impossible that sins be done away by (the) blood of bulls, and of (the) bucks of goats.
4 porque é impossível que o sangue de touros e de bodes remova pecados.
5 Therefore he entering into the world, saith, Thou wouldest not sacrifice and offering; but thou hast shaped a body to me; (And so he entering into the world, saith, Thou desirest not sacrifice and offering; but thou hast shaped, or thou hast prepared, a body for me;)
5 Por isso, ao entrar no mundo, diz: Sacrifício e oferta não quiseste; antes, um corpo me formaste;
6 [and] burnt sacrifices also for sin pleased not to thee.
6 não te deleitaste com holocaustos e ofertas pelo pecado.
7 Then I said, Lo! I come; in the beginning of the book it is written of me (or from the beginning of the Book it is written about me), that I do thy will, God.
7 Então, eu disse: Eis aqui estou (no rolo do livro está escrito a meu respeito), para fazer, ó Deus, a tua vontade.
8 He saying before, That thou wouldest not sacrifices, and offerings, and burnt sacrifices for sin, nor those things be pleasant to thee, which be offered by the law, (He saying first, Thou desirest not sacrifices, and offerings, and burnt sacrifices for sin, nor those things be pleasing to thee, which be offered by the Law,)
8 Depois de dizer, como acima: Sacrifícios e ofertas não quiseste, nem holocaustos e oblações pelo pecado, nem com isto te deleitaste (coisas que se oferecem segundo a lei),
9 then I said, Lo! I come, that I do thy will, God. He doeth away the first, that he make steadfast the second.
9 então, acrescentou: Eis aqui estou para fazer, ó Deus, a tua vontade. Remove o primeiro para estabelecer o segundo.
10 In which will we be hallowed by the offering of the body of Christ Jesus once. (By whose will we be consecrated, or we be sanctified, by the offering of the body of the Messiah Jesus once.)
10 Nessa vontade é que temos sido santificados, mediante a oferta do corpo de Jesus Cristo, uma vez por todas.
11 And each priest is ready ministering each day, and oft times offering the same sacrifices, which may never do away sins (or which can never do away sins).
11 Ora, todo sacerdote se apresenta, dia após dia, a exercer o serviço sagrado e a oferecer muitas vezes os mesmos sacrifícios, que nunca jamais podem remover pecados;
12 But this man offering one sacrifice for sins, forevermore sitteth in the right half of God the Father [or forevermore sitteth on the right half of God the Father]; (But this \+em man\+em* offering one sacrifice for sins, forevermore sitteth at the right hand, or on the right side, of God the Father;)
12 Jesus, porém, tendo oferecido, para sempre, um único sacrifício pelos pecados, assentou-se à destra de Deus,
13 from thenceforth abiding, till his enemies be put a stool of [or under] his feet. (where he waiteth henceforth, until his enemies be made a footstool under his feet.)
13 aguardando, daí em diante, até que os seus inimigos sejam postos por estrado dos seus pés.
14 For by one offering he made perfect forever[more] hallowed men.
14 Porque, com uma única oferta, aperfeiçoou para sempre quantos estão sendo santificados.
15 And the Holy Ghost witnesseth to us (or And the Holy Spirit testifieth to us); for after that he said,
15 E disto nos dá testemunho também o Espírito Santo; porquanto, após ter dito:
16 This is the testament, which I shall witness to them after those days, the Lord saith, in giving my laws in(to) the hearts of them, and in the souls of them I shall above write them; (This is the covenant, about which I shall testify to them after those days, saith the Lord, in putting my laws in their hearts, and I shall write them upon their minds;)
16 Esta é a aliança que farei com eles, depois daqueles dias, diz o Senhor: Porei no seu coração as minhas leis e sobre a sua mente as inscreverei,
17 and now I shall no more think on the sins and the wickedness(es) of them.
17 acrescenta: Também de nenhum modo me lembrarei dos seus pecados e das suas iniquidades, para sempre.
18 And where remission of these is, now is there none offering for sin. [+Forsooth where \+sls (there)\+sls* is remission of these, now is none offering for sin.](And where there is forgiveness for sins, now \+em there is\+em* no more any need of offerings for sins.)
18 Ora, onde há remissão destes, já não há oferta pelo pecado.
19 Therefore, brethren, having trust into the entering of (the) holy things, in the blood of Christ, (And so brothers, having trust to enter into the Holy of Holies, by the blood of the Messiah,)
19 Tendo, pois, irmãos, intrepidez para entrar no Santo dos Santos, pelo sangue de Jesus,
20 which [he] hallowed to us a new way (or the new way which he hath consecrated for us), and living by the covering [or by a veil], that is to say, his flesh,
20 pelo novo e vivo caminho que ele nos consagrou pelo véu, isto é, pela sua carne,
21 and we having the great priest on the house of God, (and \+em we having\+em* the Great Priest over the household of God,)
21 e tendo grande sacerdote sobre a casa de Deus,
22 nigh we with very heart (or let us approach with a true heart), in the plenty of faith; and be our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with clean water,
22 aproximemo-nos, com sincero coração, em plena certeza de fé, tendo o coração purificado de má consciência e lavado o corpo com água pura.
23 and hold we the confession of our hope, bowing to no side, [or unbowing, or unpliable]; for he is true that hath made the promise.
23 Guardemos firme a confissão da esperança, sem vacilar, pois quem fez a promessa é fiel.
24 And behold we together in the stirring of charity (or of love), and of good works;
24 Consideremo-nos também uns aos outros, para nos estimularmos ao amor e às boas obras.
25 not forsaking our gathering together, as it is the custom to some men, but comforting [them], and by so much the more, by how much ye see the day nighing.
25 Não deixemos de congregar-nos, como é costume de alguns; antes, façamos admoestações e tanto mais quanto vedes que o Dia se aproxima.
26 For why now a sacrifice for sins is not left to us, that sin willfully, after that we have taken the knowing of truth. (Because now there is no longer any sacrifice for sins for us, we who sin willingly, or with our free will, after that we have received the knowledge of the truth.)
26 Porque, se vivermos deliberadamente em pecado, depois de termos recebido o pleno conhecimento da verdade, já não resta sacrifício pelos pecados;
27 For why some abiding of doom is dreadful, and the (pur)suing of fire, which shall waste (his) adversaries. (But instead, only waiting for fearful Judgement, and the fire following, which shall waste all his adversaries.)
27 pelo contrário, certa expectação horrível de juízo e fogo vingador prestes a consumir os adversários.
28 Who that breaketh Moses’ law, dieth without any mercy, by two or three witnesses (or on the evidence given by two or three witnesses);
28 Sem misericórdia morre pelo depoimento de duas ou três testemunhas quem tiver rejeitado a lei de Moisés.
29 how much more guess ye, that he deserveth worse torments, which defouleth the Son of God, and holdeth the blood of the testament polluted, in which he is hallowed, and doeth despite [or wrong] to the Spirit of grace? (then how much more do ye think, that he deserveth worse torments, who defileth the Son of God, and holdeth the blood of the covenant polluted, by which he was consecrated, or he was sanctified, and despiseth or doeth wrong to the Spirit of grace?)
29 De quanto mais severo castigo julgais vós será considerado digno aquele que calcou aos pés o Filho de Deus, e profanou o sangue da aliança com o qual foi santificado, e ultrajou o Espírito da graça?
30 For we know him that said, To me vengeance, and I shall yield (it). And again, For the Lord shall deem his people. (For we know him who said, Vengeance is mine, and I shall yield it. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.)
30 Ora, nós conhecemos aquele que disse: A mim pertence a vingança; eu retribuirei. E outra vez: O Senhor julgará o seu povo.
31 It is fearedful to fall into the hands of God living. [+It is fearful to fall into the hands of \+sls (the)\+sls* living God.]
31 Horrível coisa é cair nas mãos do Deus vivo.
32 And have ye mind on the former days, in which ye were (en)lightened, and suffered great strife of passions. (And remember the early days, when ye were first enlightened, and struggled through great sufferings.)
32 Lembrai-vos, porém, dos dias anteriores, em que, depois de iluminados, sustentastes grande luta e sofrimentos;
33 And in the tother ye were made a spectacle by shames, and tribulations, (or by reproofs, and troubles); in another ye were made fellows of men living so.
33 ora expostos como em espetáculo, tanto de opróbrio quanto de tribulações, ora tornando-vos coparticipantes com aqueles que desse modo foram tratados.
34 For also to bound men ye had compassion, and ye received with joy the robbing of your goods, knowing that ye have a better and a dwelling substance.
34 Porque não somente vos compadecestes dos encarcerados, como também aceitastes com alegria o espólio dos vossos bens, tendo ciência de possuirdes vós mesmos patrimônio superior e durável.
35 Therefore do not ye lose your trust, which hath great rewarding.
35 Não abandoneis, portanto, a vossa confiança; ela tem grande galardão.
36 For patience is needful to you, that ye do the will of God, and bring again the promise. (Because it is necessary that ye be patient, or that ye endure, so that ye do God’s will, and win the promise, or and receive the promise.)
36 Com efeito, tendes necessidade de perseverança, para que, havendo feito a vontade de Deus, alcanceis a promessa.
37 For yet a little, and he that is to come shall come, and he shall not tarry.
37 Porque, ainda dentro de pouco tempo, aquele que vem virá e não tardará;
38 For my just man liveth of faith (or For my righteous man liveth by faith); (so) that if he withdraweth himself, he shall not please to my soul.
38 todavia, o meu justo viverá pela fé; e: Se retroceder, nele não se compraz a minha alma.
39 But we be not the sons of withdrawing away into perdition, but of faith into [the] getting of (the) soul, (or but of faithfulness unto the getting of life, or unto the saving of our souls).
39 Nós, porém, não somos dos que retrocedem para a perdição; somos, entretanto, da fé, para a conservação da alma.
