1 Brethren, if a man be occupied in any guilt [or overcome in any trespass], ye that be spiritual, inform ye [or teach] such one in (the) spirit of softness, [or meekness], beholding thyself, lest that thou be tempted, [falling in the same wise], (or lest thou be tested, \+em failing in the same way, or in like manner\+em*).
1 Irmãos, se um homem chegar a ser surpreendido em algum delito, vós que sois espirituais corrigi o tal com espírito de mansidão; e olha por ti mesmo, para que também tu não sejas tentado.
2 Each bear (the) other’s charges, and so ye shall fulfill the law of Christ. (Bear each other’s burdens, and so ye shall fulfill the law of the Messiah.)
2 Levai as cargas uns dos outros, e assim cumprireis a lei de Cristo.
3 For who that troweth [or guesseth] that he be aught, when he is nought, he beguileth himself. (For he who thinketh that he is something, when he is really nothing, fooleth himself.)
3 Pois, se alguém pensa ser alguma coisa, não sendo nada, engana-se a si mesmo.
4 But each man prove his own work, and so he shall have glory [only] in himself, and not in another.
4 Mas prove cada um a sua própria obra, e então terá motivo de glória somente em si mesmo, e não em outrem;
5 For each man shall bear his own charge. (For each man shall bear his own burden.)
5 porque cada qual levará o seu próprio fardo.
6 He that is taught in word, commune he with him that teacheth him, in all goods [or in all good things].
6 E o que está sendo instruído na palavra, faça participante em todas as boas coisas aquele que o instrui.
7 Do not ye err, God is not scorned; for those things that a man soweth, those things he shall reap, [or for why what things a man soweth, also these things he shall reap].
7 Não vos enganeis; Deus não se deixa escarnecer; pois tudo o que o homem semear, isso também ceifará.
8 For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh he shall reap corruption; but he that soweth in the Spirit, of the Spirit he shall reap everlasting life.
8 Porque quem semeia na sua carne, da carne ceifará a corrupção; mas quem semeia no Espírito, do Espírito ceifará a vida eterna.
9 And doing good fail we not; for in his time we shall reap, not failing.
9 E não nos cansemos de fazer o bem, porque a seu tempo ceifaremos, se não houvermos desfalecido.
10 Therefore while we have time, work we good to all men; but most(ly) to them that be home-like [or that be the household members] of the faith. (And so while we have the time, do we good to all; but most of all to those who be members of the household, or the family, of faith.)
10 Então, enquanto temos oportunidade, façamos bem a todos, mas principalmente aos domésticos da fé.
11 See ye, what manner letters I have written to you with mine own hand.
11 Vede com que grandes letras vos escrevo com minha própria mão.
12 For whoever will please in the flesh, these constrain you to be circumcised, only that they suffer not the persecution of Christ’s cross (or so that they themselves shall not suffer persecution for the cross of the Messiah).
12 Todos os que querem ostentar boa aparência na carne, esses vos obrigam a circuncidar-vos, somente para não serem perseguidos por causa da cruz de Cristo.
13 For neither they that be circumcised keep the law; but they will (or they desire) that ye be circumcised, (so) that they have glory in your flesh.
13 Porque nem ainda esses mesmos que se circuncidam guardam a lei, mas querem que vos circuncideis, para se gloriarem na vossa carne.
14 But far be it from me to have glory, [no] but in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.
14 Mas longe esteja de mim gloriar-me, a não ser na cruz de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, pela qual o mundo está crucificado para mim e eu para o mundo.
15 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision is anything (of) worth, nor prepuce, but a new creature. (For in Jesus Christ being circumcised is not worth anything, nor being uncircumcised, but only being a new creation.)
15 Pois nem a circuncisão nem a incircuncisão é coisa alguma, mas sim o ser uma nova criatura.
16 And whoever [shall](pur)sue this rule (or And whoever shall follow this rule), peace (be) on them, and mercy, and on (the) Israel of God.
16 E a todos quantos andarem conforme esta norma, paz e misericórdia sejam sobre eles e sobre o Israel de Deus.
17 And hereafter [or From henceforth], no man be heavy to me; for I bear in my body the tokens, [or the wounds], of our Lord Jesus Christ (or for I bear on my body the signs, or the marks, of our Lord Jesus Christ).
17 Daqui em diante ninguém me moleste; porque eu trago no meu corpo as marcas de Jesus.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.
18 A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja, irmãos, com o vosso espírito. Amém.
