1 For the grace of this thing I, Paul, the bound of Christ Jesus, for you heathen men, (For the grace of this thing I, Paul, the prisoner of the Messiah Jesus, for you Gentiles,)
1 Quando penso em tudo isso, eu, Paulo, prisioneiro de Cristo Jesus para o bem de vocês, gentios…
2 if nevertheless ye have heard the dispensation of God’s grace, that is given to me in you.
2 Tomando por certo, a propósito, que vocês sabem que Deus me deu essa responsabilidade especial de estender sua graça a vocês.
3 For by revelation the sacrament is made known to me, as I above wrote in short thing,
3 Como lhes escrevi anteriormente em poucas palavras, o próprio Deus revelou esse segredo a mim.
4 as ye may read, and understand my prudence in the mystery of Christ. (so ye can read, and understand my comprehension of the secret of the Messiah.)
4 Ao lerem o que escrevi, entenderão minha compreensão desse segredo a respeito de Cristo,
5 Which was not known to other generations to the sons of men, as it is now showed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,
5 que não foi revelado às gerações anteriores, mas agora foi revelado, pelo Espírito, aos santos apóstolos e profetas.
6 that heathen men be even-heirs, and of one body, and partners together of his promise in Christ Jesus by the evangel; (that the Gentiles be equal heirs, and of one body, and partners together of his promise in the Messiah Jesus by the Gospel or the Good News;)
6 E este é o segredo revelado: tanto os gentios como os judeus que creem nas boas-novas participam igualmente das riquezas herdadas pelos filhos de Deus. Ambos são membros do mesmo corpo e desfrutam a promessa em Cristo Jesus.
7 whose minister I am made, by the gift of God’s grace, which is given to me by the working of his virtue (or which is given to me by the working of his power).
7 Pela graça e pelo grande poder de Deus, recebi o privilégio de servir anunciando essas boas-novas.
8 To me, least of all (the) saints, this grace is given to preach [or to evangelize] among heathen men the unsearchable riches of Christ, (To me, least of all of God’s people, this grace is given to preach among the Gentiles the immeasurable riches of the Messiah,)
8 Ainda que eu seja o menos digno de todo o povo santo, recebi, pela graça, o privilégio de falar aos gentios sobre os tesouros infindáveis que estão disponíveis a eles em Cristo
9 and to (en)lighten all men, which is the dispensation of [the] sacrament hid from worlds in God, that made all things of nought; (and to enlighten all men, which is the dispensation of the mystery, or the secret, hidden from the beginning, or from the Creation, in God, who made everything out of nothing;)
9 e de explicar a todos esse segredo que Deus, o Criador de todas as coisas, manteve oculto desde o princípio.
10 (so) that the much-fold wisdom of God be known to princes and potentates in heavenly things by the church,
10 O plano de Deus era mostrar a todos os governantes e autoridades nos domínios celestiais, por meio da igreja, as muitas formas da sabedoria divina.
11 by the before-ordinance of worlds [or after the setting of worlds], which he made in Christ Jesus our Lord. (according to his eternal purpose, which he made in the Messiah Jesus our Lord.)
11 Esse era seu propósito eterno, que ele realizou por meio de Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor.
12 In whom we have trust and nigh coming [to], in trusting by the faith of him.
12 Por meio da fé em Cristo, agora nós, com ousadia e confiança, temos acesso à presença de Deus.
13 For which thing I ask, that ye fail not in my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
13 Portanto, peço-lhes que não desanimem por causa de minhas provações. É por vocês que sofro; a honra é de vocês.
14 For grace of this thing I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
14 Quando penso em tudo isso, caio de joelhos e oro ao Pai,
15 of whom each fatherhood (or every family) in heavens and in earth is named, [of whom each fatherhood in heaven and in earth is named,]
15 o Criador de todas as coisas nos céus e na terra.
16 (so) that he give to you, after the riches of his glory, (the) virtue (or the power) to be strengthened by his Spirit in the inner man,
16 Peço que, da riqueza de sua glória, ele os fortaleça com poder interior por meio de seu Espírito.
17 that Christ dwell by faith in your hearts; that ye rooted and grounded in charity, (so that the Messiah live by faith in your hearts; so that ye rooted and grounded in love,)
17 Então Cristo habitará em seu coração à medida que vocês confiarem nele. Suas raízes se aprofundarão em amor e os manterão fortes.
18 may (be able to) comprehend with all (the) saints, which is the breadth, and the length, and the highness, and the deepness; (can grasp along with all of God’s people, what is the breadth, and the length, and the highness, and the depth;)
18 Também peço que, como convém a todo o povo santo, vocês possam compreender a largura, o comprimento, a altura e a profundidade do amor de Cristo.
19 also to know the charity of Christ more excellent(ly) than science, that ye be [full-]filled in all the plenty of God. (and also to know the love of the Messiah more completely than knowledge itself, so that ye be filled full with all the abundance of God.)
19 Que vocês experimentem esse amor, ainda que seja grande demais para ser inteiramente compreendido. Então vocês serão preenchidos com toda a plenitude de vida e poder que vêm de Deus.
20 And to him that is mighty to do all things more plenteously than we ask or understand, by the virtue that worketh in us (or by the power that worketh in us),
20 Toda a glória seja a Deus que, por seu grandioso poder que atua em nós, é capaz de realizar infinitamente mais do que poderíamos pedir ou imaginar.
21 to him be glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus, into all the generations of the world(s) of worlds. Amen. (to him be glory in the church, and in Messiah Jesus, from generation unto generation forever and ever. Amen.)
21 A ele seja a glória na igreja e em Cristo Jesus por todas as gerações, para todo o sempre! Amém.
