1 Paul, the apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, to all the saints that be at Ephesus (or to all of God’s people who be at Ephesus), and to the faithful men in Jesus Christ,
1 Eu, Paulo, apóstolo de Cristo Jesus pela vontade de Deus, escrevo esta carta ao povo de Deus da cidade de Éfeso, o povo que é fiel por estar unido com Cristo Jesus.
2 grace be to you and (the) peace of God, our Father, and of our Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Blessed be God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, that hath blessed us in all spiritual blessing in heavenly things in Christ,
3 Agradeçamos ao Deus e Pai do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, pois ele nos tem abençoado por estarmos unidos com Cristo, dando-nos todos os dons espirituais do mundo celestial.
4 as he hath chosen us in himself before the making of the world, that we were holy [or that we should be holy], and without wem in his sight, in charity. (as he hath chosen us for himself before the creation of the world, so that we were holy, and without spot or blemish before him, in love.)
4 Antes da criação do mundo, Deus já nos havia escolhido para sermos dele por meio da nossa união com Cristo, a fim de pertencermos somente a Deus e nos apresentarmos diante dele sem culpa. Por causa do seu amor por nós,
5 Which hath before-ordained us into [the] adoption of sons by Jesus Christ into him, by the purpose of his will,

6 into the praising of the glory of his grace; in which he hath glorified us in his dearworthy Son. [into the praising of the glory of his grace; in which he made us able to his grace in his dearworthy Son.]

7 In whom we have redemption by his blood, [and] forgiveness of sins, after the riches of his grace,

8 that abounded greatly in us in all wisdom and prudence,

10 the which sacrament he purposed in him in the dispensation of (the) plenty of times, to store up all things in Christ (or to include everything in the Messiah), which be in heavens, and which be in earth, in him.
10 Esse plano é unir, no tempo certo, debaixo da autoridade de Cristo, tudo o que existe no céu e na terra.
11 In whom [also] we be called by lot, before-ordained by the purpose of him that worketh all things by the counsel of his will;
11 Todas as coisas são feitas de acordo com o plano e com a decisão de Deus. De acordo com a sua vontade e com aquilo que ele havia resolvido desde o princípio, Deus nos escolheu para sermos o seu povo, por meio da nossa união com Cristo.
12 that we be into the praising of his glory, we that have hoped before in Christ [or we that before hoped in Christ]. (so that we can praise his glory, we who first hoped in the Messiah, or we who were the first to hope in the Messiah.)
12 Portanto, digo que nós , que fomos os primeiros a pôr a nossa esperança em Cristo, louvemos a glória de Deus.
13 In whom also ye were called, when ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your health, in whom ye believing be marked with the Holy Ghost of promise, (In whom also ye \+em were called\+em*, when ye heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel, or the Good News, of your salvation, in whom ye believing be sealed with the Holy Spirit, as was promised,)
13 A mesma coisa aconteceu também com vocês . Quando ouviram a verdadeira mensagem, a boa notícia que trouxe para vocês a salvação, vocês creram em Cristo. E Deus pôs em vocês a sua marca de proprietário quando lhes deu o Espírito Santo, que ele havia prometido.
14 which is the earnest [or a wed] of our heritage (or which is the pledge of our inheritance), into the redemption of purchasing, into [the] praising of his glory.
14 O Espírito Santo é a garantia de que receberemos o que Deus prometeu ao seu povo, e isso nos dá a certeza de que Deus dará liberdade completa aos que são seus. Portanto, louvemos a sua glória.
15 Therefore and I hearing (of) your faith, that is in Christ Jesus, and the love into all (the) saints, (And so I hearing of your faith, that is in the Messiah Jesus, and your love for all of God’s people,)
15 Por isso, desde que ouvi falar da fé que vocês têm no Senhor Jesus e do amor que vocês têm por todos os irmãos na fé,
16 cease not to do thankings for you, making mind of you in my prayers; (never cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers;)
16 não paro de agradecer a Deus por causa de vocês. Eu sempre lembro de vocês nas minhas orações.
17 (so) that (the) God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give to you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation, into the knowing of him;
17 E peço ao Deus do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, o Pai glorioso , que dê a vocês o seu Espírito, o Espírito que os tornará sábios e revelará Deus a vocês, para que assim vocês o conheçam como devem conhecer.
18 and the eyes of your heart lightened, that ye know, which is the hope of his calling, and which be the riches of the glory of his heritage in saints; (and that the eyes of your hearts be enlightened, so that ye know, what is the hope of his calling, and what be the riches and the glory of his inheritance for God’s people;)
18 Peço que Deus abra a mente de vocês para que vejam a luz dele e conheçam a esperança para a qual ele os chamou . E também para que saibam como são maravilhosas as bênçãos que ele prometeu ao seu povo
19 and which is the excellent greatness of his virtue, into us that have believed, by the working of the might of his virtue, (and what is the excellent greatness of his power, for those of us who have believed, by the working of the might of his power,)
19 e como é grande o seu poder que age em nós, os que cremos nele. Esse poder que age em nós é a mesma força poderosa
20 which he wrought in Christ, raising him from death [or raising him from \+sls (the)\+sls* dead], and setting him on his right half in heavenly things, (which he worked in the Messiah, raising him from the dead, and setting \+em him\+em* at his right hand, or on his right side, in heavenly things,)
20 que ele usou quando ressuscitou Cristo e fez com que ele se sentasse ao seu lado direito no mundo celestial.
21 above each principat, and potentate, and virtue, and domination, (or above each principality, and authority, and power, and dominion), and above each name that is named, not only in this world, but also in the world to coming [or but also in the world to come];
21 Cristo reina sobre todos os governos celestiais, autoridades, forças e poderes . Ele tem um título que está acima de todos os títulos das autoridades que existem neste mundo e no mundo que há de vir.
22 and made all things subject under his feet, and gave him to be (the) head over all the church,

23 that is the body of him, and the plenty of him, which is all things in all things fulfilled.
