2 One|strong="G3739" person|strong="G3739" believes|strong="G4100" that|strong="G3739" he|strong="G1161" may|strong="G3956" eat|strong="G2068" anything|strong="G3956", but|strong="G1161" he|strong="G1161" who|strong="G3739" is|strong="G3588" weak eats|strong="G2068" only|strong="G3303" vegetables|strong="G3001".

8 If|strong="G1437" we|strong="G1437" live|strong="G2198", we|strong="G1437" live|strong="G2198" for|strong="G1063" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962"; and|strong="G5037" if|strong="G1437" we|strong="G1437" die, we|strong="G1437" die for|strong="G1063" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962". Therefore|strong="G3767", whether|strong="G1437" we|strong="G1437" live|strong="G2198" or|strong="G1437" die, we|strong="G1437" belong|strong="G1510" to|strong="G5037" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962".
9 For|strong="G1063" this|strong="G3778" reason Christ|strong="G5547" died and|strong="G2532" then|strong="G2532" rose|strong="G2532" and|strong="G2532" lived|strong="G2198" again|strong="G1519", so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" he|strong="G2532" might|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" Lord|strong="G2961" over|strong="G2961" both|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" dead|strong="G3498" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" living|strong="G2198".

15 If|strong="G1487" yoʋr brother is|strong="G3588" distressed|strong="G3076" by|strong="G1223" what|strong="G3739" yoʋ eat, yoʋ are|strong="G3588" no|strong="G3361" longer|strong="G3765" walking|strong="G4043" in|strong="G2596" love. Do|strong="G3361" not|strong="G3361" let|strong="G1063" what|strong="G3739" yoʋ eat destroy someone|strong="G3739" for|strong="G1063" whom|strong="G3739" Christ|strong="G5547" died|strong="G3588".
16 And|strong="G3767" do|strong="G3361" not|strong="G3361" let|strong="G3767" what|strong="G3588" you|strong="G5210" consider good|strong="G3588" to|strong="G3361" be|strong="G3361" spoken of|strong="G3588" as|strong="G3767" evil.
17 For|strong="G1063" the|strong="G1722" kingdom of|strong="G4151" God|strong="G2316" is|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" a|strong="G2532" matter of|strong="G4151" eating|strong="G1035" and|strong="G2532" drinking|strong="G4213", but|strong="G2532" of|strong="G4151" righteousness|strong="G1343", peace|strong="G1515", and|strong="G2532" joy|strong="G5479" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" Holy|strong="G4151" Spirit|strong="G4151".
18 Anyone who|strong="G3588" serves|strong="G1398" Christ|strong="G5547" in|strong="G1722" these|strong="G3778" things|strong="G3778" is|strong="G3588" acceptable|strong="G2101" to|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" and|strong="G2532" approved|strong="G1384" by|strong="G1722" men|strong="G3778".
19 So|strong="G3767" then|strong="G3767", let|strong="G3767" us|strong="G1519" pursue|strong="G1377" what|strong="G3588" brings|strong="G1519" about|strong="G1519" peace|strong="G1515" and|strong="G2532" mutual edification|strong="G3619".
20 Do|strong="G3361" not|strong="G3361" tear|strong="G2647" down|strong="G2647" the|strong="G3956" work|strong="G2041" of|strong="G1223" God|strong="G2316" for|strong="G1223" the|strong="G3956" sake|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" food|strong="G1033". Everything|strong="G3956" is|strong="G3588" indeed|strong="G3303" clean|strong="G2513", but|strong="G3361" it|strong="G1223" is|strong="G3588" wrong|strong="G2556" for|strong="G1223" a|strong="G1223" person to|strong="G3361" eat|strong="G2068" anything|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3588" causes another|strong="G3588" to|strong="G3361" stumble.
21 It|strong="G3739" is|strong="G3588" good|strong="G2570" not|strong="G3361" to|strong="G1722" eat|strong="G2068" meat|strong="G2907" or|strong="G2228" drink|strong="G4095" wine|strong="G3631" or|strong="G2228" do|strong="G3361" anything|strong="G5315" by|strong="G1722" which|strong="G3739" yoʋr brother stumbles|strong="G4350" or|strong="G2228" is|strong="G3588" offended|strong="G4624" or|strong="G2228" made weak.
22 Do|strong="G2919" yoʋ have|strong="G2192" a|strong="G2192" firm belief|strong="G4102" about|strong="G2596" these|strong="G3739" things|strong="G3588"? Have|strong="G2192" it|strong="G3739" privately|strong="G2596" before|strong="G1799" God|strong="G2316". Blessed|strong="G3107" is|strong="G3588" he|strong="G3739" who|strong="G3739" does|strong="G2192" not|strong="G3361" condemn|strong="G2919" himself|strong="G1438" by|strong="G1722" what|strong="G3739" he|strong="G3739" approves|strong="G1381".
23 But|strong="G1161" whoever|strong="G3739" doubts|strong="G1252" is|strong="G1510" condemned|strong="G2632" if|strong="G1437" he|strong="G1161" eats|strong="G2068", because|strong="G3754" his|strong="G3956" action is|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" based|strong="G1537" on|strong="G1537" faith|strong="G4102"; and|strong="G1161" anything|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3754" is|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" based|strong="G1537" on|strong="G1537" faith|strong="G4102" is|strong="G1510" sin.
24 Now to him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that has been kept silent since the world began
25 but has now been revealed, and through the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all the Gentiles, according to the commandment of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—
26 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ. Amen.
