1 ⌞The \+nd Lord\+nd* continued,⌟ “Build an altar out of acacia wood for burning incense.
1 E farás um altar para sobre ele queimar incenso; de madeira de acácia o farás.
2 Make it 18 inches square and 36 inches high. The horns and altar must be made out of one piece ⌞of wood⌟.
2 Um côvado será o seu comprimento, e um côvado a sua largura, será quadrado; e dois côvados será a sua altura; os seus chifres formarão parte dele.
3 Cover all of it with pure gold—the top, the sides, and the horns. Put a gold molding around it.
3 E o revestirás com ouro puro, o seu topo, e os seus lados ao redor, e os seus chifres; e farás para ele uma coroa de ouro ao redor.
4 Make two gold rings, and put them below the molding on opposite sides to hold the poles for carrying it.
4 E duas argolas de ouro lhe farás debaixo da sua coroa, nas suas duas pontas, nos dois lados dele o farás. E eles serão por lugares para as varas para carregá-lo.
5 Make the poles out of acacia wood, and cover them with gold.
5 E farás as varas de madeira de acácia, e as revestirás com ouro.
6 Put the altar in front of the canopy which ⌞hangs⌟ over the ark containing the words of my promise. I will meet with you there in front of the throne of mercy that is on the ark.
6 E o colocarás diante do véu que está junto à arca do testemunho, diante do propiciatório que está sobre o testemunho, onde me encontrarei contigo.
7 “Aaron must burn sweet-smelling incense on this altar every morning when he takes care of the lamps.
7 E Arão queimará sobre ele o incenso aromático todas as manhãs. Quando puser em ordem as lâmpadas, queimará o incenso sobre ele.
8 Also, when Aaron lights the lamps at dusk, he must burn incense. For generations to come an incense offering must burn constantly in the Lord’s presence.
8 E quando Arão acender as lâmpadas à tarde, queimará o incenso sobre ele; um incenso perpétuo diante do SENHOR por todas as vossas gerações.
9 “Never burn any unauthorized incense on this altar or any burnt offerings or grain offerings. Never pour a wine offering on it.
9 Não oferecereis incenso estranho sobre ele, nem oferta queimada, nem oferta de carne, nem derramareis ofertas de bebida sobre ele.
10 Once a year Aaron must make peace with the Lord by putting blood on its horns. Once a year—for generations to come—blood from the offering must be placed on the altar to make peace with the Lord. It is most holy to the Lord.”
10 E uma vez por ano Arão fará expiação sobre os chifres dele, com o sangue do sacrifício de expiação de pecado; uma vez por ano ele fará expiação sobre ele por todas as vossas gerações; é santíssimo ao SENHOR.
11 Then the Lord said to Moses,
11 E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
12 “When you take a census of the Israelites, each person must pay the Lord a ransom for his life when he is counted. Then no plague will happen to them when they are counted.
12 Quando tomares a soma dos filhos de Israel, segundo os seus números, então eles darão, cada homem, um resgate por sua alma ao SENHOR, quando os contares; para que não haja praga entre eles, quando os contares.
13 As each person is counted, he must give one-fifth of an ounce of silver using the standard weight of the holy place. This one-fifth of an ounce of silver is a contribution to the Lord.
13 Isto eles darão, cada um que passar entre os que forem contados, metade de um shekel, segundo o shekel do santuário (um shekel é vinte geras); metade de um shekel será a oferta ao SENHOR.
14 Everyone counted who is at least 20 years old must give this contribution to the Lord.
14 Todo o que passar entre os que são contados, de vinte anos para cima, dará uma oferta ao SENHOR.
15 The rich must not give more than one-fifth of an ounce of silver, and the poor must not give less. This contribution is given to make peace with the Lord and make your lives acceptable to the Lord.
15 O rico não dará mais e o pobre não dará menos do que metade de um shekel, quando derem uma oferta ao SENHOR, para fazer expiação por vossas almas.
16 Take the money the Israelites give to make peace with the Lord, and use it to pay the expenses of the tent of meeting. It will be a reminder for the Israelites in the Lord’s presence that the sins in their lives are removed.”
16 E tomarás o dinheiro da expiação dos filhos de Israel, e o destinarás ao serviço do tabernáculo da congregação para que seja um memorial para os filhos de Israel diante do SENHOR, para fazer expiação por vossas almas.
17 The Lord said to Moses,
17 E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
18 “Make a bronze basin with a bronze stand for washing. Put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and fill it with water.
18 Também farás uma pia de bronze, e sua base também de bronze, para lavar; e a colocarás entre o tabernáculo da congregação e o altar, e nela colocarás água.
19 Aaron and his sons will use it for washing their hands and feet.
19 Porque Arão e os seus filhos lavarão nela as suas mãos e os seus pés.
20 Before they go into the tent of meeting, they must wash so that they will not die. Before they come near the altar to serve as priests and burn an offering by fire to the Lord,
20 Quando entrarem para o tabernáculo da congregação, lavar-se-ão com água para que não morram; ou quando se aproximarem do altar para ministrar, para queimar a oferta feita no fogo ao SENHOR;
21 they will wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This will be a permanent law for him and his descendants for generations to come.”
21 assim, lavarão as suas mãos e os seus pés para que não morram; e isto lhes será por estatuto eterno, para ele e para a sua descendência nas suas gerações.
22 The Lord said to Moses,
22 Além disso, falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
23 “Take the finest spices: 12½ pounds of powdered myrrh; half as much, that is, 6¼ pounds of fragrant cinnamon; 6¼ pounds of fragrant cane;
23 Tu também tomarás das principais especiarias, de mirra pura quinhentos shekels, e de canela aromática a metade, duzentos e cinquenta shekels, e de cálamo aromático duzentos e cinquenta shekels,
24 12½ pounds of cassia—all weighed using the standard weight of the holy place—and 4 quarts of olive oil.
24 e de cássia quinhentos shekels, segundo o shekel do santuário, e de óleo de oliva um him.
25 Have a perfumer make these into a holy oil, a fragrant mixture, used only for anointing. This will be the holy oil used for anointing.
25 E disto farás um óleo de unguento sagrado, um unguento composto segundo a arte do perfumista; será o óleo sagrado de unção.
26 “Use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark containing the words of my promise,
26 E ungirás o tabernáculo da congregação com ele, e a arca do testemunho,
27 the table and all the dishes, the lamp stand and all the utensils, the altar for incense,
27 e a mesa com todos os seus utensílios, e o candelabro e seus utensílios, e o altar de incenso,
28 the altar for burnt offerings and all its accessories, and the basin with its stand.
28 e o altar da oferta queimada com todos os seus utensílios, e a pia com a sua base.
29 In this way you will dedicate them for their holy purpose. Then they will be most holy, and anything that touches them will become holy.
29 E os santificarás, para que sejam santíssimos; tudo que os tocar será santo.
30 Anoint Aaron and his sons as well. In this way you will set them apart for their holy duties of serving me as priests.
30 E ungirás Arão e os seus filhos, e os consagrarás, para que ministrem a mim no ofício sacerdotal.
31 “Say to the Israelites, ‘For generations to come, this will be my holy oil used only for anointing.
31 E falarás aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Este será um santo óleo de unção para mim, por vossas gerações.
32 It must never be poured on the bodies of other people. Never make any perfumed oil using this formula. It is holy, and you must treat it as holy.
32 Não será derramado sobre a carne do homem, nem fareis outro semelhante a ele, segundo a sua composição. Ele é santo, e será santo para vós.
33 Whoever prepares a perfume like this or puts it on anyone who is not a priest must be excluded from the people.’ ”
33 Todo aquele que compuser algo como ele, ou todo aquele que colocar algo dele sobre um estranho, será cortado do seu povo.
34 The Lord said to Moses, “Take one part fragrant spices (two kinds of gum resin and aromatic mollusk shells), and mix them with one part pure frankincense.
34 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Toma especiarias aromáticas, estoraque, e ônica, e gálbano; estas especiarias aromáticas com incenso puro, cada uma delas será de igual peso.
35 Have a perfumer make it into fragrant incense, seasoned with salt, pure and holy.
35 E farás um perfume, uma confecção segundo a arte do perfumista, temperado, puro e santo.
36 Grind some of it into a fine powder, and put it in front of ⌞the ark containing⌟ the words of my promise in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. You must treat it as most holy.
36 E moerás parte dele muito fino, e o colocarás diante do testemunho no tabernáculo da congregação, onde me encontrarei contigo; será para vós santíssimo.
37 Never make any incense for yourselves using this formula. Treat it as holy to the Lord.
37 E quanto ao perfume que farás, não fareis para vós mesmos de acordo com a sua composição; ele será para vós santo ao SENHOR.
38 Whoever prepares anything like it for his own enjoyment must be excluded from his people.”
38 Todo aquele que fizer semelhante a ele, para cheirar, será cortado do seu povo.
