1 ⌞The \+nd Lord\+nd* continued,⌟ “Out of all the Israelites, bring your brother Aaron and his sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar to you. They will serve me as priests.
1 Depois tu farás chegar a ti teu irmão Arão, e seus filhos com ele, do meio dos filhos de Israel, para me administrarem o ofício sacerdotal; a saber: Arão, Nadabe, e Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar, os filhos de Arão.
2 Make holy clothes for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.
2 E farás vestes sagradas a Arão teu irmão, para glória e ornamento.
3 “Tell all those who have the skill—those to whom I have given this ability—to make Aaron’s clothes. These clothes will set him apart as holy when he serves me as priest.
3 Falarás também a todos os que são sábios de coração, a quem eu tenho enchido do espírito da sabedoria, que façam vestes a Arão para santificá-lo; para que me administre o ofício sacerdotal.
4 These are the clothes they will make: a breastplate, an ephod and the robe that is worn with it, another specially woven linen robe, the chief priest’s turban, and a cloth belt. They will make these holy clothes for your brother Aaron and his sons so that they can serve me as priests.
4 Estas pois são as vestes que farão: um peitoral, e um éfode, e um manto, e uma túnica bordada, uma mitra, e um cinto; farão, pois, santas vestes para Arão, teu irmão, e para seus filhos, para me administrarem o ofício sacerdotal.
5 They must use gold, violet, purple, and bright red yarn, and fine linen.
5 E tomarão o ouro, e o azul, e a púrpura, e o carmesim, e o linho fino,
6 “Make the ephod out of fine linen yarn. Creatively work gold, violet, purple, and bright red yarn into the fabric.
6 E farão o éfode de ouro, e de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmesim, e de linho fino torcido, de obra esmerada.
7 It will have two shoulder straps attached at the ⌞top⌟ corners so that it can be fastened.
7 Terá duas ombreiras, que se unam às suas duas pontas, e assim se unirá.
8 Make the belt that is attached to the ephod out of the same fabric.
8 E o cinto de obra esmerada do seu éfode, que estará sobre ele, será da sua mesma obra, igualmente, de ouro, de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmesim, e de linho fino torcido.
9 Take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel
9 E tomarás duas pedras de ônix, e gravarás nelas os nomes dos filhos de Israel,
10 in birth order—six of their names on one stone and the remaining six on the other.
10 Seis dos seus nomes numa pedra, e os outros seis nomes na outra pedra, segundo as suas gerações;
11 Engrave the names of the sons of Israel on the two stones the same way a jeweler engraves a signet ring. Mount them in gold settings,
11 Conforme à obra do lapidário, como o lavor de selos lavrarás estas duas pedras, com os nomes dos filhos de Israel; engastadas ao redor em ouro as farás.
12 and fasten them on the shoulder straps of the ephod as reminders of who the Israelites are. In this way Aaron will carry their names on his shoulders as a reminder in the Lord’s presence.
12 E porás as duas pedras nas ombreiras do éfode, por pedras de memória para os filhos de Israel; e Arão levará os seus nomes sobre ambos os seus ombros, para memória diante do Senhor.
13 Make gold settings
13 Farás também engastes de ouro,
14 and two chains of pure gold, twisted like ropes, and fasten these chains to the settings.
14 E duas cadeiazinhas de ouro puro; de igual medida, de obra de fieira as farás; e as cadeiazinhas de fieira porás nos engastes.
15 “Make the breastplate for decision-making as creatively as you make the ephod. Make it out of gold, violet, purple, and bright red yarn and out of fine linen yarn.
15 Farás também o peitoral do juízo de obra esmerada, conforme à obra do éfode o farás; de ouro, de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmesim, e de linho fino torcido o farás.
16 Fold it in half so that it’s 9 inches square.
16 Quadrado e duplo, será de um palmo o seu comprimento, e de um palmo a sua largura.
17 Fasten four rows of precious stones on it. In the first row put red quartz, topaz, and emerald.
17 E o encherás de pedras de engaste, com quatro ordens de pedras; a ordem de um sárdio, de um topázio, e de um carbúnculo; esta será a primeira ordem;
18 In the second row put turquoise, sapphire, and crystal.
18 E a segunda ordem será de uma esmeralda, de uma safira, e de um diamante;
19 In the third row put jacinth, agate, and amethyst.
19 E a terceira ordem será de um jacinto, de uma ágata, e de uma ametista;
20 In the fourth row put beryl, onyx, and gray quartz. Mount them in gold settings.
20 E a quarta ordem será de um berilo, e de um ônix, e de um jaspe; engastadas em ouro serão nos seus engastes.
21 The stones correspond to the 12 sons of Israel, by name, each stone engraved (like a signet ring) with the name of one of the 12 tribes.
21 E serão aquelas pedras segundo os nomes dos filhos de Israel, doze segundo os seus nomes; serão esculpidas como selos, cada uma com o seu nome, para as doze tribos.
22 “For the breastplate make chains out of pure gold, twisted like ropes.

23 Make two gold rings for the breastplate. Attach them to the two ⌞top⌟ corners of the breastplate.
23 Também farás para o peitoral dois anéis de ouro, e porás os dois anéis nas extremidades do peitoral.
24 Then fasten the two gold ropes to the rings at the ⌞top⌟ corners of the breastplate.
24 Então porás as duas cadeiazinhas de fieira de ouro nos dois anéis, nas extremidades do peitoral;
25 Fasten the other ends of the ropes to the two settings on the shoulder straps of the ephod ⌞so that the breastplate hangs⌟ in front of it.
25 E as duas pontas das duas cadeiazinhas de fieira colocarás nos dois engastes, e as porás nas ombreiras do éfode, na frente dele.
26 Make two gold rings, and fasten them to the other two corners of the breastplate on the inside edge next to the ephod.
26 Farás também dois anéis de ouro, e os porás nas duas extremidades do peitoral, na sua borda que estiver junto ao éfode por dentro.
27 Make two ⌞more⌟ gold rings, and fasten them to the bottom of the shoulder straps on the front of the ephod. This will be close to the seam just above the belt of the ephod.
27 Farás também dois anéis de ouro, que porás nas duas ombreiras do éfode, abaixo, na frente dele, perto da sua juntura, sobre o cinto de obra esmerada do éfode.
28 Then the breastplate should be fastened by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a violet cord. This will attach it just above the belt of the ephod and will hold the breastplate in place.
28 E ligarão o peitoral, com os seus anéis, aos anéis do éfode por cima, com um cordão de azul, para que esteja sobre o cinto de obra esmerada do éfode; e nunca se separará o peitoral do éfode.
29 “Whenever Aaron goes into the holy place, he will be carrying the names of the sons of Israel over his heart as a constant reminder in the Lord’s presence. He must do this by wearing the breastplate for decision-making.
29 Assim Arão levará os nomes dos filhos de Israel no peitoral do juízo sobre o seu coração, quando entrar no santuário, para memória diante do Senhor continuamente.
30 Put the Urim and Thummim into the breastplate for decision-making. They, too, will be over Aaron’s heart when he comes into the Lord’s presence. In this way whenever he’s in the Lord’s presence, Aaron will always be carrying over his heart the ⌞means for determining the \+nd Lord\+nd*’s⌟ decisions for the Israelites.
30 Também porás no peitoral do juízo Urim e Tumim, para que estejam sobre o coração de Arão, quando entrar diante do Senhor: assim Arão levará o juízo dos filhos de Israel sobre o seu coração diante do Senhor continuamente.
31 “Make the robe that is worn with the ephod entirely of violet material.
31 Também farás o manto do éfode, todo de azul.
32 Make an opening for the head in the center with a reinforced edge (like a leather collar) all around it to keep it from tearing.
32 E a abertura da cabeça estará no meio dele; esta abertura terá uma borda de obra tecida ao redor; como abertura de cota de malha será, para que não se rompa.
33 All around the hem of the robe make pomegranates of violet, purple, and bright red yarn with gold bells in between—
33 E nas suas bordas farás romãs de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmesim, ao redor das suas bordas; e campainhas de ouro no meio delas ao redor.
34 a gold bell alternating with a pomegranate all around the hem of the robe.
34 Uma campainha de ouro, e uma romã, outra campainha de ouro, e outra romã, haverá nas bordas do manto ao redor,
35 Aaron must wear it when he serves as priest. The sound of the bells must be heard when he comes into and goes out of the Lord’s presence in the holy place so that he won’t die.
35 E estará sobre Arão quando ministrar, para que se ouça o seu sonido, quando entrar no santuário diante do Senhor, e quando sair, para que não morra.
36 “Make a flower-shaped medallion out of pure gold, and engrave on it (as on a signet ring): Holy to the Lord.
36 Também farás uma lâmina de ouro puro, e nela gravarás como as gravuras de selos: SANTIDADE AO SENHOR.
37 Fasten a violet cord to it, and tie it so that it’s on the front of the turban.
37 E atá-la-ás com um cordão de azul, de modo que esteja na mitra, na frente da mitra estará;
38 It will be on Aaron’s forehead. He’s the one to be blamed for anything done wrong when the Israelites bring their holy offerings—whatever their gifts may be. The medallion must always be on Aaron’s forehead so that the Lord will accept their offerings.
38 E estará sobre a testa de Arão, para que Arão leve a iniqüidade das coisas santas, que os filhos de Israel santificarem em todas as ofertas de suas coisas santas; e estará continuamente na sua testa, para que tenham aceitação perante o Senhor.
39 “Make the specially woven inner robe of fine linen. Make the turban of fine linen, but the belt should be embroidered with colored yarn.
39 Também farás túnica de linho fino; também farás uma mitra de linho fino; mas o cinto farás de obra de bordador.
40 “Also make linen robes, belts, and turbans for Aaron’s sons. These clothes will give them dignity and honor.
40 Também farás túnicas aos filhos de Arão, e far-lhes-ás cintos; também lhes farás tiaras, para glória e ornamento.
41 Put these clothes on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint them, ordain them, and set them apart to serve me as priests.
41 E vestirás com eles a Arão, teu irmão, e também seus filhos; e os ungirás e consagrarás, e os santificarás, para que me administrem o sacerdócio.
42 “Make linen undergarments to cover them down to their thighs.
42 Faze-lhes também calções de linho, para cobrirem a carne nua; irão dos lombos até as coxas.
43 Aaron and his sons must wear them when they go into the tent of meeting or when they come near the altar to serve as priests in the holy place. Then they will be blameless and won’t die.
43 E estarão sobre Arão e sobre seus filhos, quando entrarem na tenda da congregação, ou quando chegarem ao altar para ministrar no santuário, para que não levem iniqüidade e morram; isto será estatuto perpétuo para ele e para a sua descendência depois dele.
