GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs BKJ
1 At that time the Lord said to me, “Cut two ⌞more⌟ stone tablets like the first ones, and come up to me on the mountain. Also make an ark out of wood.
1 Naquele tempo o SENHOR me disse: Talha duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras, e vem até mim no monte, e faz uma arca de madeira.
2 I will write on the tablets the same words that were on the first tablets, which you smashed. Then you will put them in the ark.”
2 E escreverei nas tábuas as palavras que estavam nas primeiras tábuas que quebraste, e as porás na arca.
3 I made an ark out of acacia wood. I cut two ⌞more⌟ stone tablets like the first ones. I carried the two tablets up the mountain.
3 E fiz uma arca de madeira de acácia, e talhei duas tábuas de pedra como as primeiras, e subi ao monte, levando as duas tábuas na minha mão.
4 The Lord wrote on these tablets the same words as before, the ten commandments. He had spoken these words to you from the fire on the mountain on the day of the assembly. Then the Lord gave them to me.
4 E ele escreveu nas tábuas, conforme a primeira escritura, os dez mandamentos, que o SENHOR vos falou no monte, do meio do fogo, no dia da assembleia; e o SENHOR as deu a mim.
5 I came back down the mountain and put the tablets in the ark I had made. They are still there, where the Lord commanded me to put them.
5 E me virei e desci do monte, e coloquei as tábuas na arca que havia feito; e ali elas estão, como o SENHOR me ordenou.
6 The Israelites moved from the wells of the Jaakanites to Moserah. Aaron died there and was buried, and his son Eleazar succeeded him as priest.
6 E os filhos de Israel empreenderam sua jornada desde Beerote dos filhos de Jaacã até Mosera; ali morreu Arão, e ali foi sepultado; e Eleazar, seu filho, ministrou na função de sacerdote em seu lugar.
7 They moved from there to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land with rivers that don’t dry up.
7 Dali seguiram viagem até Gudgoda; e desde Gudgoda até Jotbatá, uma terra de ribeiros de águas.
8 At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the Lord’s promise, to stand in the Lord’s presence when they serve him as priests, and to praise his name, as they still do today.
8 Naquela ocasião, o SENHOR separou a tribo de Levi, para que levasse a arca do pacto do SENHOR, para estarem de pé diante do SENHOR, para o ministrar, e para abençoar no seu nome, até este dia.
9 This is why the tribe of Levi has no land of their own as the other tribes have. The Lord your God is their only possession, as he promised them.
9 Por isso, Levi não tem parte nem herança com seus irmãos; o SENHOR é a sua herança, conforme o SENHOR teu Deus prometeu a ele.
10 I stayed on the mountain 40 days and 40 nights as I did the first time. Once again the Lord listened to me and agreed not to destroy you.
10 E fiquei no monte conforme a primeira vez, quarenta dias e quarenta noites, e o SENHOR também me ouviu naquele tempo, e o SENHOR não quis destruir-te.
11 The Lord said to me, “Lead the people on their journey. They will enter and take possession of the land I will give them, as I swore to their ancestors.”
11 E o SENHOR me disse: Levanta-te, segue a tua jornada à frente do povo, para que possam ir e possuir a terra, que eu jurei dar aos seus pais.
12 Israel, what does the Lord your God want you to do? He wants you to fear him, follow all his directions, love him, and worship him with all your heart and with all your soul.
12 E agora, Israel, o que o SENHOR teu Deus exige de ti, apenas que temas ao SENHOR teu Deus, que andes em todos os seus caminhos, e que o ames, e que sirvas ao SENHOR teu Deus com todo o teu coração e com toda a tua alma,
13 The Lord wants you to obey his commands and laws that I’m giving you today for your own good.
13 que guardes os mandamentos do SENHOR e os seus estatutos, que te ordeno neste dia, para o teu bem?
14 Remember that the sky, the highest heaven, the earth and everything it contains belong to the Lord your God.
14 Eis que os céus e os céus dos céus são do SENHOR teu Deus, a terra também, com tudo o que nela existe.
15 The Lord set his heart on your ancestors and loved them. Because of this, today he chooses you, their descendants, out of all the people of the world.
15 Somente o SENHOR teve deleite em teus pais, para amá-los, e ele escolheu a sua semente depois deles, vós acima de todos os povos, como é neste dia.
16 So circumcise your uncircumcised hearts, and don’t be impossible to deal with any longer.
16 Portanto, circuncidai o prepúcio do vosso coração, e não sejais mais obstinados.
17 The Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, powerful, and awe-inspiring God. He never plays favorites and never takes a bribe.
17 Porque o SENHOR vosso Deus é Deus dos deuses, e Senhor dos senhores, um grande Deus, poderoso e terrível, que não faz acepção de pessoas, nem aceita recompensas;
18 He makes sure orphans and widows receive justice. He loves foreigners and gives them food and clothes.
18 ele faz justiça ao órfão e à viúva, e ama o estrangeiro, dando-lhe alimento e vestes.
19 So you should love foreigners, because you were foreigners living in Egypt.
19 Portanto, amai o estrangeiro; pois fostes estrangeiros na terra do Egito.
20 Fear the Lord your God, worship him, be loyal to him, and take your oaths in his name.
20 Temerás ao SENHOR teu Deus; a ele servirás, e a ele te apegarás, e jurarás pelo seu nome.
21 He is your glory. He is your God, who did for you these spectacular and awe-inspiring deeds you saw with your own eyes.
21 Ele é o teu louvor, e ele é o teu Deus, que fez por ti essas coisas grandes e terríveis, que os teus olhos viram.
22 When your ancestors went to Egypt, there were 70 of them. Now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.
22 Os teus pais desceram ao Egito com setenta pessoas, e agora o SENHOR fez com que sejas uma multidão, como as estrelas dos céus.
