1 A palavra do Senhor, que veio a Oséias, filho de Beeri, nos dias de Uzias, Jotão, Acaz e Ezequias, reis de Judá, e nos dias de Jeroboão, filho de Joás, rei de Israel.
2 This|strong="H3588" was|strong="H3068" the|strong="H0559" LORD’S|strong="H3068" first|strong="H8462" message|strong="H3068" to|strong="H0413" Hosea|strong="H1954". The|strong="H0559" LORD|strong="H3068" said|strong="H0559", “Go, marry|strong="H3947" a|strong="H3947" prostitute|strong="H2181" who|strong="H3068" has|strong="H3068" had|strong="H3068" children|strong="H3206" as|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3947" result of|strong="H0776" her|strong="H0413" prostitution. Do this|strong="H3588" because|strong="H3588" the|strong="H0559" people|strong="H0776" in|strong="H0413" this|strong="H3588" country|strong="H0776" have|strong="H0776" acted like|strong="H0776" prostitutes|strong="H2181"—they|strong="H3588" have|strong="H0776" been|strong="H0776" unfaithful|strong="H2181" to|strong="H0413" the|strong="H0559" LORD|strong="H3068".”
2 Quando o Senhor falou no princípio por Oséias, disse o Senhor a Oséias: Vai, toma por esposa uma mulher de prostituições, e filhos de prostituição; porque a terra se prostituiu, apartando-se do Senhor.
3 So|strong="H3947" Hosea married|strong="H3947" Gomer|strong="H1586" daughter|strong="H1323" of|strong="H1121" Diblaim. She became|strong="H3205" pregnant|strong="H2029" and|strong="H1121" gave|strong="H3205" birth|strong="H3205" to|strong="H3205" a|strong="H3947" son|strong="H1121" for|strong="H3947" Hosea.
3 Ele se foi, pois, e tomou a Gomer, filha de Diblaim; e ela concebeu, e lhe deu um filho.
4 The|strong="H0853" LORD|strong="H3068" said|strong="H0559" to|strong="H0413" Hosea|strong="H7121", “Name|strong="H8034" him|strong="H0413" Jezreel|strong="H3157", because|strong="H3588" soon|strong="H4592" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3068" punish|strong="H6485" the|strong="H0853" family|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" Jehu|strong="H3058" for|strong="H3588" the|strong="H0853" people|strong="H1818" he|strong="H3588" killed at|strong="H0413" Jezreel|strong="H3157" Valley. 4 E disse-lhe o Senhor: Põe-lhe o nome de Jizreel; porque daqui a pouco visitarei o sangue de Jizreel sobre a casa de Jeú, e farei cessar o reino da casa de Israel.

5 E naquele dia quebrarei o arco de Israel no vale de Jizreel.
6 Then|strong="H0853" Gomer became|strong="H3205" pregnant|strong="H2029" again|strong="H5750" and|strong="H3478" gave|strong="H3205" birth|strong="H3205" to|strong="H0559" a|strong="H3588" daughter|strong="H1323". The|strong="H0853" LORD said|strong="H0559" to|strong="H0559" Hosea|strong="H7121", “Name|strong="H8034" her|strong="H5375" Lo-Ruhamah|strong="H3819", because|strong="H3588" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3478" not|strong="H3808" show|strong="H5375" mercy|strong="H7355" to|strong="H0559" the|strong="H0853" nation|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" Israel|strong="H3478" anymore|strong="H5750", nor|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3478" I|strong="H3588" forgive|strong="H5375" them|strong="H0853".
6 E tornou ela a conceber, e deu à luz uma filha. E o Senhor disse a Oséias: Põe-lhe o nome de Lo-Ruama; porque não tornarei mais a compadecer-me da casa de Israel, nem a perdoar-lhe de maneira alguma.
7 But|strong="H3808" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3068" show|strong="H7355" mercy|strong="H7355" to|strong="H3068" the|strong="H0853" nation|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" Judah|strong="H3063". I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3068" save|strong="H3467" them|strong="H0853", but|strong="H3808" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3808" use bows|strong="H7198" or|strong="H3808" swords|strong="H2719" or|strong="H3808" war|strong="H4421" horses|strong="H5483" and|strong="H3068" soldiers|strong="H4421" to|strong="H3068" save|strong="H3467" them|strong="H0853". 7 Mas da casa se Judá me compadecerei, e os salvarei pelo Senhor seu Deus, pois não os salvarei pelo arco, nem pela espada, nem pela guerra, nem pelos cavalos, nem pelos cavaleiros.
8 After Gomer had|strong="H3205" finished nursing Lo-Ruhamah|strong="H3819", she became|strong="H3205" pregnant|strong="H2029" again and|strong="H1121" gave|strong="H3205" birth|strong="H3205" to|strong="H3205" a|strong="H3205" son|strong="H1121".
8 Ora depois de haver desmamado a Lo-Ruama, concebeu e deu à luz um filho.

9 E o Senhor disse: Põe-lhe o nome de Lo-Ami; porque vós não sois meu povo, nem sou eu vosso Deus.
10 “In the future the number of the people of Israel will be like the sand of the sea, which you cannot measure or count. In the same place that God told them, ‘You are not my people,’ he will call them ‘children of the Living God.’
10 Todavia o número dos filhos de Israel será como a areia do mar, que não pode ser medida nem contada; e no lugar onde se lhes dizia: Vós não sois meu povo, se lhes dirá: Vós sois os filhos do Deus vivo.
11 “Then the people of Judah and the people of Israel will be gathered together. They will choose one ruler for themselves, and their nation will be too large for the land. Jezreel’s day will be great!”
11 E os filhos de Judá e os filhos de Israel juntos se congregarão, e constituirão sobre si uma só cabeça, e subirão da terra; pois grande será o dia de Jizreel.
