1 When the Jewish rest day was over, Mary Mag-da-lean (Magdalene), Sal-o-me (Salome), and Mary the mother of James went to buy some nice smelling oil. They wanted to put the oil on Jesus' body to bury him the right way.
1 Depois que terminou o sábado, Maria Madalena, Salomé e Maria, a mãe de Tiago, compraram perfumes para perfumar o corpo de Jesus.
2 Early on Sunday morning, when the sun was just starting to come up, the women went to the cave.
2 No domingo, bem cedo, ao nascer do sol, elas foram ao túmulo.
3 While they were walking along the road, they said to each other, “Who will roll that big stone away so that we can get into the cave?”
3 No caminho perguntavam umas às outras: — Quem vai tirar para nós a pedra que fecha a entrada do túmulo?
4 But when the women got there, they looked up and saw that the really big stone was already rolled away from the door. The women found the stone was rolled away|src="8m 2MarysAtTomb.tif" size="col" copy="Finch (AIM)" ref="16:4"
4 Elas diziam isso porque a pedra era muito grande. Mas, quando olharam, viram que ela já havia sido tirada.
5 When they went into the cave, they saw a young man wearing really white clothes sitting on the right-hand side. The women were amazed and frightened.
5 Então elas entraram no túmulo e viram um moço vestido de branco sentado no lado direito. Elas ficaram muito assustadas,
6 The man said to them, “Don't be frightened. You are looking for Jesus from Nazareth, the man that died on the cross. God has made him come alive again. Look, his body was here, but it is not here now.”
6 mas ele disse: — Não se assustem! Sei que vocês estão procurando Jesus de Nazaré, que foi crucificado; mas ele não está aqui, pois já foi ressuscitado. Vejam o lugar onde ele foi posto.
7 And then the young man said, “Go back and see Peter and the other followers and say to them, ‘Jesus is going to Galilee. Go there, and you will find him. Remember, before he died, he told you that you would see him in Galilee.’”
7 Agora vão e deem este recado a Pedro e aos outros discípulos: “Ele vai adiante de vocês para a Galileia. Lá vocês vão vê-lo, como ele mesmo disse.”
8 The women were so amazed and so frightened they were shaking. They ran out of the cave, and did not talk to anyone.
8 Então elas saíram e fugiram do túmulo, apavoradas e tremendo. E não contaram nada a ninguém porque estavam com muito medo.
9 Early on the day that Jesus came alive again, Mary Mag-da-lean was the first person to see him. She was the one that used to have 7 bad spirits in her but Jesus sent them all away.
9 [Jesus ressuscitou no domingo bem cedo e apareceu primeiro a Maria Madalena, de quem havia expulsado sete demônios.
10 Mary saw Jesus and then she went to see his followers. They were all very sad and they were crying.
10 Ela foi contar isso aos companheiros de Jesus, pois eles estavam tristes e chorando.
11 Mary said to them, “Jesus is alive. I have just seen him.” But they did not believe her.
11 Quando a ouviram dizer que Jesus estava vivo e que tinha aparecido a ela, eles não acreditaram.
12 Later on, 2 of Jesus' other followers were walking out from Jerusalem into the country. While they went along the road, Jesus started to walk with them, but the men did not know that it was Jesus. He looked really different.
12 Depois disso Jesus se apresentou com outra aparência a dois discípulos que iam caminhando para o campo.
13 Then, after they found out that it was Jesus, they turned around and went back to Jerusalem to tell the other followers. They said, “We met Jesus on the road.” But again, the followers did not believe them.
13 Eles voltaram e foram contar isso aos outros discípulos, e estes não acreditaram no que os dois disseram.
14 Later on, the 11 close followers were eating food together, and Jesus came into the room. He growled at them and said, “You mob have got hard hearts. Why didn't you listen to those people that said I was alive again? What they said was true. Why didn't you believe them?”
14 Por último Jesus apareceu aos onze discípulos enquanto eles estavam à mesa, comendo. Ele os repreendeu por não terem fé e por teimarem em não acreditar no que haviam contado os que o tinham visto ressuscitado.
15 Then Jesus said to them, “You have to go everywhere in the world and tell people the good news about me.
15 Então ele disse:
16 I tell you, anybody that believes my good news and has that special washing ceremony called baptism will be saved and they will be in my family forever. But God will not save people that do not believe my good news. He will say they are guilty and he will punish them.
16 Quem crer e for batizado será salvo, mas quem não crer será condenado.
17 And the people that believe in me will do great things with the power that I will give to them. They will send bad spirits out of people, and they will talk in different languages that they never learned.
17 Aos que crerem será dado o poder de fazer estes milagres: expulsar demônios pelo poder do meu nome e falar novas línguas;
18 When they pick up a cheeky snake, it will not hurt them. And if they drink deadly poison, it will not kill them. They will put their hands on sick people, and those people will get better.”
18 se pegarem em cobras ou beberem algum veneno, não sofrerão nenhum mal; e, quando puserem as mãos sobre os doentes, estes ficarão curados.
19 When Jesus had finished telling his followers all those things, he went up into heaven and sat down at the right-hand side of God. Jesus went back to heaven|src="tlc-118 Jesus ascends into heaven.tif" size="col" copy="Global Recordings Network ( Australia)" ref="16:19"
19 Depois de falar com eles, o Senhor Jesus foi levado para o céu e sentou-se do lado direito de Deus.
20 Then his followers went everywhere and told people the good news about Jesus. And the Lord was with them as they used his power to do great things. When the people saw those powerful signs, they knew that everything the followers said was true.
20 Os discípulos foram anunciar o evangelho por toda parte. E o Senhor os ajudava e, por meio de milagres, provava que a mensagem deles era verdadeira.]
