1 And it came to pass in the fourth|strong="H0702" year|strong="H8141" of king|strong="H4428" Darius|strong="H1867", that the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto Zechariah|strong="H2148" in the fourth|strong="H0702" day of the ninth|strong="H8671" month|strong="H2320", even in Chisleu|strong="H3691";
1 Em 7 de dezembro do quarto ano do reinado de Dario, o S enhor deu outra mensagem a Zacarias.
2 When they had sent|strong="H7971" unto the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0410" Sherezer|strong="H8272" and Regem-melech|strong="H7278", and their men|strong="H0582", to pray|strong="H2470" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*,
2 O povo de Betel tinha enviado Sarezer, Regem-Meleque e seus homens para buscar o favor do S enhor
3 And to speak|strong="H0559" unto the priests|strong="H3548" which were in the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", and to the prophets|strong="H5030", saying|strong="H0559", Should I weep|strong="H1058" in the fifth|strong="H2549" month|strong="H2320", separating|strong="H5144" myself, as I have done|strong="H6213" these so many years|strong="H8141"?
3 e para perguntar aos profetas e aos sacerdotes no templo do S enhor dos Exércitos: “Devemos continuar a lamentar e jejuar no quinto mês, como temos feito por tantos anos?”.
4 Then came the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
4 Em resposta, o S enhor dos Exércitos me deu esta mensagem:
5 Speak|strong="H0559" unto all the people|strong="H5971" of the land|strong="H0776", and to the priests|strong="H3548", saying|strong="H0559", When ye fasted|strong="H6684" and mourned|strong="H5594" in the fifth|strong="H2549" and seventh|strong="H7637" month, even those seventy|strong="H7657" years|strong="H8141", did ye at all|strong="H6684" fast|strong="H6684" unto me, even to me?
5 “Diga a todo o seu povo e a seus sacerdotes: ‘Durante estes setenta anos de exílio, vocês jejuaram e lamentaram no quinto e no sétimo mês, mas foi, de fato, para mim que jejuaram?
6 And when ye did eat|strong="H0398", and when ye did drink|strong="H8354", did not ye eat|strong="H0398" for yourselves, and drink|strong="H8354" for yourselves?
6 E, mesmo agora, não comem e bebem apenas para agradar a si mesmos?
7 Should ye not hear the words|strong="H1697" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath cried|strong="H7121" by|strong="H3027" the former|strong="H7223" prophets|strong="H5030", when Jerusalem|strong="H3389" was inhabited|strong="H3427" and in prosperity|strong="H7961", and the cities|strong="H5892" thereof round about her|strong="H5439", when men inhabited|strong="H3427" the south|strong="H5045" and the plain|strong="H8219"?
7 Não é esta a mesma mensagem que o S enhor proclamou por meio dos profetas no passado, quando Jerusalém e as cidades de Judá estavam cheias de gente, e quando havia muitos habitantes no Neguebe e nas colinas de Judá?’”.
8 And the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto Zechariah|strong="H2148", saying|strong="H0559",
8 Então Zacarias recebeu esta mensagem do S enhor :
9 Thus speaketh|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", saying|strong="H0559", Execute|strong="H8199" true|strong="H0571" judgment|strong="H4941", and shew|strong="H6213" mercy|strong="H2617" and compassions|strong="H7356" every man|strong="H0376" to his brother|strong="H0251":
9 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Julguem com justiça e mostrem compaixão e bondade uns pelos outros.
10 And oppress|strong="H6231" not the widow|strong="H0490", nor the fatherless|strong="H3490", the stranger|strong="H1616", nor the poor|strong="H6041"; and let none of you imagine|strong="H2803" evil|strong="H7451" against|strong="H0376" his brother|strong="H0251" in your heart|strong="H3824".
10 Não oprimam as viúvas, nem os órfãos, nem os estrangeiros, nem os pobres. E não tramem o mal uns contra os outros.
11 But they refused|strong="H3985" to hearken|strong="H7181", and pulled away|strong="H5414" the shoulder|strong="H3802", and stopped|strong="H3513" their ears|strong="H0241", that they should not hear|strong="H8085".
11 “Seus antepassados não quiseram ouvir esta mensagem. Em rebeldia, deram-me as costas e taparam os ouvidos para não escutar.
12 Yea, they made|strong="H7760" their hearts|strong="H3820" as an adamant stone|strong="H8068", lest they should hear|strong="H8085" the law|strong="H8451", and the words|strong="H1697" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" hath sent|strong="H7971" in his spirit|strong="H7307" by|strong="H3027" the former|strong="H7223" prophets|strong="H5030": therefore came a great|strong="H1419" wrath|strong="H7110" from the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
12 Tornaram o coração duro como pedra, para não ouvir as instruções nem as mensagens que o S enhor dos Exércitos lhes enviou por seu Espírito, por meio dos antigos profetas. Por isso o S enhor dos Exércitos ficou tão irado com eles.
13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried|strong="H7121", and they would not hear|strong="H8085"; so they cried|strong="H7121", and I would not hear|strong="H8085", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635":
13 “Porque não quiseram ouvir quando eu os chamei, não os ouvi quando eles me chamaram, diz o S enhor dos Exércitos.
14 But I scattered them with a whirlwind|strong="H5590" among all the nations|strong="H1471" whom they knew|strong="H3045" not. Thus the land|strong="H0776" was desolate|strong="H8074" after|strong="H0310" them, that no man passed through|strong="H5674" nor returned|strong="H7725": for they laid|strong="H7760" the pleasant|strong="H2532" land|strong="H0776" desolate|strong="H8047".
14 Como um vendaval, eu os espalhei entre as nações distantes, que eles não conheciam. Sua terra ficou tão desolada que ninguém sequer passava por ela. Transformaram sua terra agradável num deserto”.
