1 In the eighth|strong="H8066" month|strong="H2320", in the second|strong="H8147" year|strong="H8141" of Darius|strong="H1867", came the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* unto Zechariah|strong="H2148", the son|strong="H1121" of Berechiah|strong="H1296", the son|strong="H1121" of Iddo|strong="H5714" the prophet|strong="H5030", saying|strong="H0559",
1 No oitavo mês do segundo ano do reinado de Dario, a palavra do Senhor foi dirigida ao profeta Zacarias, filho de Baraquias, filho de Ado, nestes termos:
2 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath been sore|strong="H7110" displeased|strong="H7107" with your fathers|strong="H0001".
2 O Senhor estava profundamente irritado contra os vossos pais.
3 Therefore say|strong="H0559" thou unto them, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; Turn|strong="H7725" ye unto me, saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", and I will turn|strong="H7725" unto you, saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
3 Dize a {este povo}: eis o que diz o Senhor dos exércitos: voltai a mim - oráculo do Senhor dos exércitos - e eu voltarei a vós - oráculo do Senhor dos exércitos.
4 Be ye not as your fathers|strong="H0001", unto whom the former|strong="H7223" prophets|strong="H5030" have cried|strong="H7121", saying|strong="H0559", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; Turn|strong="H7725" ye now from your evil|strong="H7451" ways|strong="H1870", and from your evil|strong="H7451" doings|strong="H4611": but they did not hear|strong="H8085", nor hearken|strong="H7181" unto me, saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
4 Não sejais como vossos pais a quem os profetas de outrora clamaram, dizendo: eis o que diz o Senhor dos exércitos: deixai vossos maus caminhos e vossas más ações; e eles não ouviram, não prestaram atenção aos meus avisos - oráculo do Senhor.
5 Your fathers|strong="H0001", where are they? and the prophets|strong="H5030", do they live|strong="H2421" for ever|strong="H5769"?
5 Onde estão vossos pais? Podem porventura os profetas viver eternamente? Quanto aos avisos e às ordens que encarreguei os meus servos, os profetas, de transmitir ao povo, não foram eles executados junto de vossos pais?
6 But my words|strong="H1697" and my statutes|strong="H2706", which I commanded|strong="H6680" my servants|strong="H5650" the prophets|strong="H5030", did they not take hold|strong="H5381" of your fathers|strong="H0001"? and they returned|strong="H7725" and said|strong="H0559", Like as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" thought|strong="H2161" to do|strong="H6213" unto us, according to our ways|strong="H1870", and according to our doings|strong="H4611", so hath he dealt|strong="H6213" with us.
6 Por isso vossos pais caíram em si mesmos e, confusos, confessaram: o Senhor dos exércitos tratou-nos como tinha resolvido proceder conosco, segundo o nosso proceder e as nossas obras.
7 Upon the four|strong="H0702" and twentieth|strong="H6242" day|strong="H3117" of the eleventh|strong="H6249" month|strong="H2320", which is the month|strong="H2320" Sebat|strong="H7627", in the second|strong="H8147" year|strong="H8141" of Darius|strong="H1867", came the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* unto Zechariah|strong="H2148", the son|strong="H1121" of Berechiah|strong="H1296", the son|strong="H1121" of Iddo|strong="H5714" the prophet|strong="H5030", saying|strong="H0559",
7 No vigésimo quarto dia do décimo primeiro mês {o mês de Sabat} do segundo ano do reinado de Dario, a palavra do Senhor foi dirigida ao profeta Zacarias, filho de Baraquias, filho de Ado, nestes termos:
8 I saw|strong="H7200" by night|strong="H3915", and behold a man|strong="H0376" riding|strong="H7392" upon a red|strong="H0122" horse|strong="H5483", and he stood|strong="H5975" among the myrtle trees|strong="H1918" that were in the bottom|strong="H4699"; and behind|strong="H0310" him were there red|strong="H0122" horses|strong="H5483", speckled|strong="H8320", and white|strong="H3836".
8 tive uma visão durante a noite. Percebi, entre as murtas do fundo do vale, um homem montado num cavalo vermelho, e atrás dele estavam cavalos ruços, alazões e brancos.
9 Then said|strong="H0559" I, O my lord|strong="H0113", what are these? And the angel|strong="H4397" that talked|strong="H1696" with me said|strong="H0559" unto me, I will shew|strong="H7200" thee what these be.
9 Eu perguntei: Meu senhor, que cavalos são estes? E o anjo porta-voz respondeu-me: Vou explicar-te.
10 And the man|strong="H0376" that stood|strong="H5975" among the myrtle trees|strong="H1918" answered|strong="H6030" and said|strong="H0559", These are they whom the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath sent|strong="H7971" to walk|strong="H1980" to and fro through the earth|strong="H0776".
10 O homem que se encontrava entre as murtas respondeu: Estes são os {mensageiros} que o Senhor mandou para percorrer a terra.
11 And they answered|strong="H6030" the angel|strong="H4397" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* that stood|strong="H5975" among the myrtle trees|strong="H1918", and said|strong="H0559", We have walked to and fro|strong="H1980" through the earth|strong="H0776", and, behold, all the earth|strong="H0776" sitteth still|strong="H3427", and is at rest|strong="H8252".
11 Então os cavaleiros disseram ao anjo do Senhor que permanecia entre as murtas: Acabamos de percorrer toda a terra, e vimos que toda a terra está em tranqüilidade e descanso.
12 Then the angel|strong="H4397" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* answered|strong="H6030" and said|strong="H0559", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", how long wilt thou not have mercy|strong="H7355" on Jerusalem|strong="H3389" and on the cities|strong="H5892" of Judah|strong="H3063", against which thou hast had indignation|strong="H2194" these threescore and ten|strong="H7657" years|strong="H8141"?
12 O anjo do Senhor disse: Senhor dos exércitos! Até quando ficareis insensível à sorte de Jerusalém e das cidades de Judá? Já faz setenta anos que estais irritado contra elas!
13 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* answered|strong="H6030" the angel|strong="H4397" that talked|strong="H1696" with me with good|strong="H2896" words|strong="H1697" and comfortable|strong="H5150" words|strong="H1697".
13 O Senhor respondeu ao anjo que me falava, e disse-lhe boas palavras, cheias de consolação.
14 So the angel|strong="H4397" that communed|strong="H1696" with me said|strong="H0559" unto me, Cry|strong="H7121" thou, saying|strong="H0559", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; I am jealous|strong="H7065" for Jerusalem|strong="H3389" and for Zion|strong="H6726" with a great|strong="H1419" jealousy|strong="H7068".
14 E o anjo disse-me: Proclama o seguinte: eis o que diz o Senhor dos exércitos: estou animado de ardente amor por Jerusalém e por Sião; porém, sumamente irritado contra as nações que vivem despreocupadas.
15 And I am very|strong="H1419" sore|strong="H7110" displeased|strong="H7107" with the heathen|strong="H1471" that are at ease|strong="H7600": for I was but a little|strong="H4592" displeased|strong="H7107", and they helped|strong="H5826" forward the affliction|strong="H7451".
15 Eu só estava ligeiramente agastado contra Israel, mas {estas nações} ultrapassaram a medida.
16 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; I am returned|strong="H7725" to Jerusalem|strong="H3389" with mercies|strong="H7356": my house|strong="H1004" shall be built|strong="H1129" in it, saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", and a line|strong="H6957" shall be stretched forth|strong="H5186" upon Jerusalem|strong="H3389".
16 Por isso, eis o que diz o Senhor: volto novamente para Jerusalém cheio de compaixão; minha casa será nela reedificada - oráculo do Senhor dos exércitos - e o cordel será estendido sobre Jerusalém.
17 Cry|strong="H7121" yet, saying|strong="H0559", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; My cities|strong="H5892" through prosperity|strong="H2896" shall yet be spread abroad|strong="H6327"; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall yet comfort|strong="H5162" Zion|strong="H6726", and shall yet choose|strong="H0977" Jerusalem|strong="H3389".
17 Farás a proclamação seguinte: eis o que diz o Senhor dos exércitos: minhas cidades terão de novo muitas riquezas; o Senhor será a consolação de Sião, e a sua escolha cairá novamente sobre Jerusalém.
18 Then lifted I up|strong="H5375" mine eyes|strong="H5869", and saw|strong="H7200", and behold four|strong="H0702" horns|strong="H7161".
18 Levantando os olhos, vi quatro cornos;
19 And I said|strong="H0559" unto the angel|strong="H4397" that talked|strong="H1696" with me, What be these? And he answered|strong="H0559" me, These are the horns|strong="H7161" which have scattered|strong="H2219" Judah|strong="H3063", Israel|strong="H3478", and Jerusalem|strong="H3389".
19 e perguntei ao porta-voz: Meu senhor, que cornos são estes? Ele respondeu-me: Estes são os cornos que dispersaram Jerusalém e Judá.
20 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shewed|strong="H7200" me four|strong="H0702" carpenters|strong="H2796".
20 O Senhor mostrou-me então quatro ferreiros.
21 Then said|strong="H0559" I, What come|strong="H0935" these to do|strong="H6213"? And he spake|strong="H0559", saying|strong="H0559", These are the horns|strong="H7161" which have scattered|strong="H2219" Judah|strong="H3063", so that|strong="H6310" no man|strong="H0376" did lift up|strong="H5375" his head|strong="H7218": but these are come|strong="H0935" to fray|strong="H2729" them, to cast out|strong="H3034" the horns|strong="H7161" of the Gentiles|strong="H1471", which lifted up|strong="H5375" their horn|strong="H7161" over the land|strong="H0776" of Judah|strong="H3063" to scatter|strong="H2219" it.
21 Eu perguntei: Esses, que vêm fazer? Os cornos, respondeu-me ele, haviam dispersado Judá de tal forma que ninguém mais ousava levantar a cabeça; mas eis que vieram esses ferreiros para destruí-los, para abater os cornos que as nações tinham levantado contra a terra de Judá, a fim de dispersar {os seus habitantes}.
