1 Give ear|strong="H0238" to my prayer|strong="H8605", O God|strong="H0430"; and hide|strong="H5956" not thyself from my supplication|strong="H8467".
1 Dá ouvidos, ó Deus, à minha oração; não te escondas da minha súplica.
2 Attend|strong="H7181" unto me, and hear|strong="H6030" me: I mourn|strong="H7300" in my complaint|strong="H7879", and make a noise|strong="H1949";
2 Atende-me e responde-me; sinto-me perplexo em minha queixa e ando perturbado,
3 Because of the voice|strong="H6963" of the enemy|strong="H0341", because|strong="H6440" of the oppression|strong="H6125" of the wicked|strong="H7563": for they cast|strong="H4131" iniquity|strong="H0205" upon me, and in wrath|strong="H0639" they hate|strong="H7852" me.
3 por causa do clamor do inimigo e da opressão do ímpio; pois sobre mim lançam calamidade e furiosamente me hostilizam.
4 My heart|strong="H3820" is sore pained|strong="H2342" within|strong="H7130" me: and the terrors|strong="H0367" of death|strong="H4194" are fallen|strong="H5307" upon me.
4 Estremece-me no peito o coração, terrores de morte me salteiam;
5 Fearfulness|strong="H3374" and trembling|strong="H7461" are come|strong="H0935" upon me, and horror|strong="H6427" hath overwhelmed|strong="H3680" me.
5 temor e tremor me sobrevêm, e o horror se apodera de mim.

8 Dar-me-ia pressa em abrigar-me do vendaval e da procela.
9 Destroy|strong="H1104", O Lord|strong="H0136", and divide|strong="H6385" their tongues|strong="H3956": for I have seen|strong="H7200" violence|strong="H2555" and strife|strong="H7379" in the city|strong="H5892".
9 Destrói, Senhor, e confunde os seus conselhos, porque vejo violência e contenda na cidade.
10 Day|strong="H3119" and night|strong="H3915" they go about|strong="H5437" it upon the walls|strong="H2346" thereof: mischief|strong="H0205" also and sorrow|strong="H5999" are in the midst|strong="H7130" of it.
10 Dia e noite giram nas suas muralhas, e, muros a dentro, campeia a perversidade e a malícia;
11 Wickedness|strong="H1942" is in the midst|strong="H7130" thereof: deceit|strong="H8496" and guile|strong="H4820" depart|strong="H4185" not from her streets|strong="H7339".
11 há destruição no meio dela; das suas praças não se apartam a opressão e o engano.
12 For it was not an enemy|strong="H0341" that reproached|strong="H2778" me; then I could have borne|strong="H5375" it: neither was it he that hated|strong="H8130" me that did magnify|strong="H1431" himself against me; then I would have hid|strong="H5641" myself from him:
12 Com efeito, não é inimigo que me afronta; se o fosse, eu o suportaria; nem é o que me odeia quem se exalta contra mim, pois dele eu me esconderia;
13 But it was thou, a man|strong="H0582" mine equal|strong="H6187", my guide|strong="H0441", and mine acquaintance|strong="H3045".
13 mas és tu, homem meu igual, meu companheiro e meu íntimo amigo.
14 We took sweet|strong="H4985" counsel|strong="H5475" together|strong="H3162", and walked|strong="H1980" unto the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430" in company|strong="H7285".
14 Juntos andávamos, juntos nos entretínhamos e íamos com a multidão à Casa de Deus.
15 Let death|strong="H4194" seize|strong="H5377" upon them, and let them go down|strong="H3381" quick|strong="H2416" into hell|strong="H7585": for wickedness|strong="H7451" is in their dwellings|strong="H4033", and among|strong="H7130" them.
15 A morte os assalte, e vivos desçam à cova! Porque há maldade nas suas moradas e no seu íntimo.
16 As for me, I will call|strong="H7121" upon God|strong="H0430"; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall save|strong="H3467" me.
16 Eu, porém, invocarei a Deus, e o
17 Evening|strong="H6153", and morning|strong="H1242", and at noon|strong="H6672", will I pray|strong="H7878", and cry aloud|strong="H1993": and he shall hear|strong="H8085" my voice|strong="H6963".
17 À tarde, pela manhã e ao meio-dia, farei as minhas queixas e lamentarei; e ele ouvirá a minha voz.
18 He hath delivered|strong="H6299" my soul|strong="H5315" in peace|strong="H7965" from the battle|strong="H7128" that was against me: for there were many|strong="H7227" with me.
18 Livra-me a alma, em paz, dos que me perseguem; pois são muitos contra mim.
19 God|strong="H0410" shall hear|strong="H8085", and afflict|strong="H6030" them, even he that abideth|strong="H3427" of old|strong="H6924". Selah|strong="H5542". Because they have no changes|strong="H2487", therefore they fear|strong="H3372" not God|strong="H0430".
19 Deus ouvirá e lhes responderá, ele, que preside desde a eternidade, porque não há neles mudança nenhuma, e não temem a Deus.
20 He hath put forth|strong="H7971" his hands|strong="H3027" against such as be at peace|strong="H7965" with him: he hath broken|strong="H2490" his covenant|strong="H1285".
20 Tal homem estendeu as mãos contra os que tinham paz com ele; corrompeu a sua aliança.
21 The words of his mouth|strong="H6310" were smoother|strong="H2505" than butter|strong="H4260", but war|strong="H7128" was in his heart|strong="H3820": his words|strong="H1697" were softer|strong="H7401" than oil|strong="H8081", yet were they drawn swords|strong="H6609".
21 A sua boca era mais macia que a manteiga, porém no coração havia guerra; as suas palavras eram mais brandas que o azeite; contudo, eram espadas desembainhadas.
22 Cast|strong="H7993" thy burden|strong="H3053" upon the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and he shall sustain|strong="H3557" thee: he shall never|strong="H5769" suffer|strong="H5414" the righteous|strong="H6662" to be moved|strong="H4131".
22 Confia os teus cuidados ao Senhor , e ele te susterá; jamais permitirá que o justo seja abalado.
23 But thou, O God|strong="H0430", shalt bring them down|strong="H3381" into the pit|strong="H0875" of destruction|strong="H7845": bloody|strong="H1818" and deceitful|strong="H4820" men|strong="H0582" shall not live out half|strong="H2673" their days|strong="H3117"; but I will trust|strong="H0982" in thee.
23 Tu, porém, ó Deus, os precipitarás à cova profunda; homens sanguinários e fraudulentos não chegarão à metade dos seus dias; eu, todavia, confiarei em ti.
