2 Speak|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", saying|strong="H0559", These|strong="H2063" are the beasts|strong="H2416" which ye shall eat|strong="H0398" among all the beasts|strong="H0929" that are on the earth|strong="H0776".
3 Whatsoever parteth|strong="H6536" the hoof|strong="H6541", and is clovenfooted|strong="H8156", and cheweth|strong="H5927" the cud|strong="H1625", among the beasts|strong="H0929", that shall ye eat|strong="H0398".
4 Nevertheless|strong="H0389" these shall ye not eat|strong="H0398" of them that chew|strong="H5927" the cud|strong="H1625", or of them that divide|strong="H6536" the hoof|strong="H6541": as the camel|strong="H1581", because he cheweth|strong="H5927" the cud|strong="H1625", but divideth|strong="H6536" not the hoof|strong="H6541"; he is unclean|strong="H2931" unto you.
5 And the coney|strong="H8227", because he cheweth|strong="H5927" the cud|strong="H1625", but divideth|strong="H6536" not the hoof|strong="H6541"; he is unclean|strong="H2931" unto you.
6 And the hare|strong="H0768", because he cheweth|strong="H5927" the cud|strong="H1625", but divideth|strong="H6536" not the hoof|strong="H6541"; he is unclean|strong="H2931" unto you.
7 And the swine|strong="H2386", though he divide|strong="H6536" the hoof|strong="H6541", and be clovenfooted|strong="H8156", yet he cheweth|strong="H1641" not the cud|strong="H1625"; he is unclean|strong="H2931" to you.
8 Of their flesh|strong="H1320" shall ye not eat|strong="H0398", and their carcase|strong="H5038" shall ye not touch|strong="H5060"; they are unclean|strong="H2931" to you.
9 These shall ye eat|strong="H0398" of all that are in the waters|strong="H4325": whatsoever hath fins|strong="H5579" and scales|strong="H7193" in the waters|strong="H4325", in the seas|strong="H3220", and in the rivers|strong="H5158", them shall ye eat|strong="H0398".
10 And all that have not fins|strong="H5579" and scales|strong="H7193" in the seas|strong="H3220", and in the rivers|strong="H5158", of all that move|strong="H8318" in the waters|strong="H4325", and of any living|strong="H2416" thing|strong="H5315" which is in the waters|strong="H4325", they shall be an abomination|strong="H8263" unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination|strong="H8263" unto you; ye shall not eat|strong="H0398" of their flesh|strong="H1320", but ye shall have their carcases|strong="H5038" in abomination|strong="H8262".
12 Whatsoever hath no fins|strong="H5579" nor scales|strong="H7193" in the waters|strong="H4325", that shall be an abomination|strong="H8263" unto you.
13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination|strong="H8262" among|strong="H4480" the fowls|strong="H5775"; they shall not be eaten|strong="H0398", they are an abomination|strong="H8263": the eagle|strong="H5404", and the ossifrage|strong="H6538", and the ospray|strong="H5822",
14 And the vulture|strong="H1676", and the kite|strong="H0344" after his kind|strong="H4327";
15 Every raven|strong="H6158" after his kind|strong="H4327";
16 And the owl|strong="H1323", and the night hawk|strong="H8464", and the cuckow|strong="H7828", and the hawk|strong="H5322" after his kind|strong="H4327",
17 And the little owl|strong="H3563", and the cormorant|strong="H7994", and the great owl|strong="H3244",
18 And the swan|strong="H8580", and the pelican|strong="H6893", and the gier eagle|strong="H7360",
19 And the stork|strong="H2624", the heron|strong="H0601" after her kind|strong="H4327", and the lapwing|strong="H1744", and the bat|strong="H5847".
20 All fowls|strong="H5775" that creep|strong="H8318", going|strong="H1980" upon all four|strong="H0702", shall be an abomination|strong="H8263" unto you.
21 Yet these may ye eat|strong="H0398" of every flying|strong="H5775" creeping|strong="H8318" thing that goeth|strong="H1980" upon all four|strong="H0702", which have legs|strong="H3767" above|strong="H4605" their feet|strong="H7272", to leap|strong="H5425" withal|strong="H2004" upon the earth|strong="H0776";
22 Even these of them ye may eat|strong="H0398"; the locust|strong="H0697" after his kind|strong="H4327", and the bald locust|strong="H5556" after his kind|strong="H4327", and the beetle|strong="H2728" after his kind|strong="H4327", and the grasshopper|strong="H2284" after his kind|strong="H4327".
23 But all other flying|strong="H5775" creeping things|strong="H8318", which have four|strong="H0702" feet|strong="H7272", shall be an abomination|strong="H8263" unto you.
24 And for these ye shall be unclean|strong="H2930": whosoever toucheth|strong="H5060" the carcase|strong="H5038" of them shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
25 And whosoever beareth|strong="H5375" ought of the carcase|strong="H5038" of them shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
26 The carcases of every beast|strong="H0929" which divideth|strong="H6536" the hoof|strong="H6541", and is not clovenfooted|strong="H8157", nor cheweth|strong="H5927" the cud|strong="H1625", are unclean|strong="H2931" unto you: every one that toucheth|strong="H5060" them shall be unclean|strong="H2930".
27 And whatsoever|strong="H3605" goeth|strong="H1980" upon his paws|strong="H3709", among all manner of beasts|strong="H2416" that go|strong="H1980" on all four|strong="H0702", those are unclean|strong="H2931" unto you: whoso toucheth|strong="H5060" their carcase|strong="H5038" shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
28 And he that beareth|strong="H5375" the carcase|strong="H5038" of them shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153": they are unclean|strong="H2931" unto you.
29 These also shall be unclean|strong="H2931" unto you among the creeping things|strong="H8318" that creep|strong="H8317" upon the earth|strong="H0776"; the weasel|strong="H2467", and the mouse|strong="H5909", and the tortoise|strong="H6632" after his kind|strong="H4327",
30 And the ferret|strong="H0604", and the chameleon|strong="H3581", and the lizard|strong="H3911", and the snail|strong="H2546", and the mole|strong="H8580".
31 These are unclean|strong="H2931" to you among all that creep|strong="H8318": whosoever doth touch|strong="H5060" them, when they be dead|strong="H4194", shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
32 And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead|strong="H4194", doth fall|strong="H5307", it shall be unclean|strong="H2930"; whether it be any vessel|strong="H3627" of wood|strong="H6086", or raiment|strong="H0899", or skin|strong="H5785", or sack|strong="H8242", whatsoever vessel|strong="H3627" it be, wherein any work|strong="H4399" is done|strong="H6213", it must be put|strong="H0935" into water|strong="H4325", and it shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153"; so it shall be cleansed|strong="H2891".
33 And every earthen|strong="H2789" vessel|strong="H3627", whereinto any of them falleth|strong="H5307", whatsoever is in it shall be unclean|strong="H2930"; and ye shall break|strong="H7665" it.
34 Of all meat|strong="H0400" which may be eaten|strong="H0398", that on which such water|strong="H4325" cometh|strong="H0935" shall be unclean|strong="H2930": and all drink|strong="H4945" that may be drunk|strong="H8354" in every such vessel|strong="H3627" shall be unclean|strong="H2930".
35 And every thing whereupon any part of their carcase|strong="H5038" falleth|strong="H5307" shall be unclean|strong="H2930"; whether it be oven|strong="H8574", or ranges|strong="H3600" for pots, they shall be broken down|strong="H5422": for they are unclean|strong="H2931", and shall be unclean|strong="H2931" unto you.
36 Nevertheless a fountain|strong="H4599" or pit|strong="H0953", wherein there is plenty|strong="H4723" of water|strong="H4325", shall be clean|strong="H2889": but that which toucheth|strong="H5060" their carcase|strong="H5038" shall be unclean|strong="H2930".
37 And if any part of their carcase|strong="H5038" fall|strong="H5307" upon any sowing|strong="H2221" seed|strong="H2233" which is to be sown|strong="H2232", it shall be clean|strong="H2889".
38 But if any water|strong="H4325" be put|strong="H5414" upon the seed|strong="H2233", and any part of their carcase|strong="H5038" fall|strong="H5307" thereon, it shall be unclean|strong="H2931" unto you.
39 And if any beast|strong="H0929", of which ye may eat|strong="H0402", die|strong="H4191"; he that toucheth|strong="H5060" the carcase|strong="H5038" thereof shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
40 And he that eateth|strong="H0398" of the carcase|strong="H5038" of it shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153": he also that beareth|strong="H5375" the carcase|strong="H5038" of it shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
41 And every creeping thing|strong="H8318" that creepeth|strong="H8317" upon the earth|strong="H0776" shall be an abomination|strong="H8263"; it shall not be eaten|strong="H0398".
42 Whatsoever goeth|strong="H1980" upon the belly|strong="H1512", and whatsoever goeth|strong="H1980" upon all four|strong="H0702", or whatsoever hath more|strong="H7235" feet|strong="H7272" among all creeping things|strong="H8318" that creep|strong="H8317" upon the earth|strong="H0776", them ye shall not eat|strong="H0398"; for they are an abomination|strong="H8263".
43 Ye shall not make|strong="H8262" yourselves|strong="H5315" abominable|strong="H8262" with any creeping thing|strong="H8318" that creepeth|strong="H8317", neither shall ye make yourselves unclean|strong="H2933" with them, that ye should be defiled|strong="H2930" thereby.
44 For I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430": ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves|strong="H6942", and ye shall be holy|strong="H6918"; for I am holy|strong="H6918": neither shall ye defile|strong="H2930" yourselves|strong="H5315" with any manner of creeping thing|strong="H8318" that creepeth|strong="H7430" upon the earth|strong="H0776".
45 For I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* that bringeth|strong="H5927" you up out of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", to be your God|strong="H0430": ye shall therefore be holy|strong="H6918", for I am holy|strong="H6918".
46 This is the law|strong="H8451" of the beasts|strong="H0929", and of the fowl|strong="H5775", and of every living|strong="H2416" creature|strong="H5315" that moveth|strong="H7430" in the waters|strong="H4325", and of every creature|strong="H5315" that creepeth|strong="H8317" upon the earth|strong="H0776":
47 To make a difference|strong="H0914" between the unclean|strong="H2931" and the clean|strong="H2889", and between the beast|strong="H2416" that may be eaten|strong="H0398" and the beast|strong="H2416" that may not be eaten|strong="H0398".
