1 So these three|strong="H7969" men|strong="H0582" ceased|strong="H7673" to answer|strong="H6030" Job|strong="H0347", because he was righteous|strong="H6662" in his own eyes|strong="H5869".
1 E aqueles três homens cessaram de responder a Jó; porque era justo aos seus próprios olhos.
2 Then was kindled|strong="H2734" the wrath|strong="H0639" of Elihu|strong="H0453" the son|strong="H1121" of Barachel|strong="H1292" the Buzite|strong="H0940", of the kindred|strong="H4940" of Ram|strong="H7410": against Job|strong="H0347" was his wrath|strong="H0639" kindled|strong="H2734", because he justified|strong="H6663" himself|strong="H5315" rather than God|strong="H0430".
2 Então se acendeu a ira de Eliú, filho de Baraquel, o buzita, da família de Rão; acendeu-se a sua ira contra Jó, porque este se justificava a si mesmo, e não a Deus.
3 Also against his three|strong="H7969" friends|strong="H7453" was his wrath|strong="H0639" kindled|strong="H2734", because they had found|strong="H4672" no answer|strong="H4617", and yet had condemned|strong="H7561" Job|strong="H0347".
3 Também contra os seus três amigos se acendeu a sua ira, porque não tinham achado o que responder, e contudo tinham condenado a Jó.
4 Now Elihu|strong="H0453" had waited|strong="H2442" till Job|strong="H0347" had spoken|strong="H1697", because they were elder|strong="H2205" than he.
4 Ora, Eliú havia esperado para falar a Jó, porque eles eram mais idosos do que ele.
5 When Elihu|strong="H0453" saw|strong="H7200" that there was no answer|strong="H4617" in the mouth|strong="H6310" of these three|strong="H7969" men|strong="H0582", then his wrath|strong="H0639" was kindled|strong="H2734".
5 Quando, pois, Eliú viu que não havia resposta na boca daqueles três homens, acendeu-se-lhe a ira.
6 And Elihu|strong="H0453" the son|strong="H1121" of Barachel|strong="H1292" the Buzite|strong="H0940" answered|strong="H6030" and said|strong="H0559", I am young|strong="H6810", and ye are very old|strong="H3453"; wherefore I was afraid|strong="H2119", and durst|strong="H3372" not shew|strong="H2331" you mine opinion|strong="H1843".
6 Então respondeu Eliú, filho de Baraquel, o buzita, dizendo: Eu sou de pouca idade, e vós sois, idosos; arreceei-me e temi de vos declarar a minha opinião.
7 I said|strong="H0559", Days|strong="H3117" should speak|strong="H1696", and multitude|strong="H7230" of years|strong="H8141" should teach|strong="H3045" wisdom|strong="H2451".
7 Dizia eu: Falem os dias, e a multidão dos anos ensine a sabedoria.
8 But|strong="H0403" there is a spirit|strong="H7307" in man|strong="H0582": and the inspiration|strong="H5397" of the Almighty|strong="H7706" giveth them understanding|strong="H0995".
8 Há, porém, um espírito no homem, e o sopro do Todo-Poderoso o faz entendido.
9 Great men|strong="H7227" are not always wise|strong="H2449": neither do the aged|strong="H2205" understand|strong="H0995" judgment|strong="H4941".
9 Não são os velhos que são os sábios, nem os anciãos que entendem o que é reto.
10 Therefore I said|strong="H0559", Hearken|strong="H8085" to me; I also will shew|strong="H2331" mine opinion|strong="H1843".
10 Pelo que digo: Ouvi-me, e também eu declararei a minha opinião.
11 Behold, I waited|strong="H3176" for your words|strong="H1697"; I gave ear|strong="H0238" to your reasons|strong="H8394", whilst ye searched out|strong="H2713" what to say|strong="H4405".
11 Eis que aguardei as vossas palavras, escutei as vossas considerações, enquanto buscáveis o que dizer.
12 Yea, I attended|strong="H0995" unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced|strong="H3198" Job|strong="H0347", or that answered|strong="H6030" his words|strong="H0561":
12 Eu, pois, vos prestava toda a minha atenção, e eis que não houve entre vós quem convencesse a Jó, nem quem respondesse às suas palavras;
13 Lest ye should say|strong="H0559", We have found out|strong="H4672" wisdom|strong="H2451": God|strong="H0410" thrusteth him down|strong="H5086", not man|strong="H0376".
13 pelo que não digais: Achamos a sabedoria; Deus é que pode derrubá-lo, e não o homem.
14 Now he hath not directed|strong="H6186" his words|strong="H4405" against me: neither will I answer|strong="H7725" him with your speeches|strong="H0561".
14 Ora ele não dirigiu contra mim palavra alguma, nem lhe responderei com as vossas palavras.
15 They were amazed|strong="H2865", they answered|strong="H6030" no more: they left off|strong="H6275" speaking|strong="H4405".
15 Estão pasmados, não respondem mais; faltam-lhes as palavras.
16 When I had waited|strong="H3176", (for they spake|strong="H1696" not, but stood still|strong="H5975", and answered|strong="H6030" no more;)
16 Hei de eu esperar, porque eles não falam, porque já pararam, e não respondem mais?
17 I said, I will answer|strong="H6030" also my part|strong="H2506", I also will shew|strong="H2331" mine opinion|strong="H1843".
17 Eu também darei a minha resposta; eu também declararei a minha opinião.
18 For I am full|strong="H4390" of matter|strong="H4405", the spirit|strong="H7307" within|strong="H0990" me constraineth|strong="H6693" me.
18 Pois estou cheio de palavras; o espírito dentro de mim me constrange.
19 Behold, my belly|strong="H0990" is as wine|strong="H3196" which hath no vent|strong="H6605"; it is ready to burst|strong="H1234" like new|strong="H2319" bottles|strong="H0178".
19 Eis que o meu peito é como o mosto, sem respiradouro, como odres novos que estão para arrebentar.
20 I will speak|strong="H1696", that I may be refreshed|strong="H7304": I will open|strong="H6605" my lips|strong="H8193" and answer|strong="H6030".
20 Falarei, para que ache alívio; abrirei os meus lábios e responderei:
21 Let me not, I pray you, accept|strong="H5375" any man’s|strong="H0376" person|strong="H6440", neither let me give flattering titles|strong="H3655" unto man|strong="H0120".
21 Que não faça eu acepção de pessoas, nem use de lisonjas para com o homem.
22 For I know|strong="H3045" not to give flattering titles|strong="H3655"; in so doing my maker|strong="H6213" would soon|strong="H4592" take me away|strong="H5375".
22 Porque não sei usar de lisonjas; do contrário, em breve me levaria o meu Criador.
