Jó 33

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Wherefore|strong="H0199", Job|strong="H0347", I pray thee, hear|strong="H8085" my speeches|strong="H4405", and hearken|strong="H0238" to all my words|strong="H1697".

Behold, now I have opened|strong="H6605" my mouth|strong="H6310", my tongue|strong="H3956" hath spoken|strong="H1696" in my mouth|strong="H2441".

My words|strong="H0561" shall be of the uprightness|strong="H3476" of my heart|strong="H3820": and my lips|strong="H8193" shall utter|strong="H4448" knowledge|strong="H1847" clearly|strong="H1305".

The Spirit|strong="H7307" of God|strong="H0410" hath made|strong="H6213" me, and the breath|strong="H5397" of the Almighty|strong="H7706" hath given me life|strong="H2421".

If thou canst|strong="H3201" answer|strong="H7725" me, set thy words in order|strong="H6186" before|strong="H6440" me, stand up|strong="H3320".

Behold, I am according to thy wish|strong="H6310" in God’s|strong="H0410" stead: I also am formed|strong="H7169" out of the clay|strong="H2563".

Behold, my terror|strong="H0367" shall not make thee afraid|strong="H1204", neither shall my hand|strong="H0405" be heavy|strong="H3513" upon thee.

Surely thou hast spoken|strong="H0559" in mine hearing|strong="H0241", and I have heard|strong="H8085" the voice|strong="H6963" of thy words|strong="H4405", saying,

I am clean|strong="H2134" without transgression|strong="H6588", I am innocent|strong="H2643"; neither is there iniquity|strong="H5771" in me.

Behold, he findeth|strong="H4672" occasions|strong="H8569" against me, he counteth|strong="H2803" me for his enemy|strong="H0341",

He putteth|strong="H7760" my feet|strong="H7272" in the stocks|strong="H5465", he marketh|strong="H8104" all my paths|strong="H0734".

Behold, in this thou art not just|strong="H6663": I will answer|strong="H6030" thee, that God|strong="H0433" is greater|strong="H7235" than man|strong="H0582".

Why dost thou strive|strong="H7378" against him? for he giveth not account|strong="H6030" of any of his matters|strong="H1697".

For God|strong="H0410" speaketh|strong="H1696" once|strong="H0259", yea twice|strong="H8147", yet man perceiveth|strong="H7789" it not.

In a dream|strong="H2472", in a vision|strong="H2384" of the night|strong="H3915", when deep|strong="H8639" sleep falleth|strong="H5307" upon men|strong="H0582", in slumberings|strong="H8572" upon the bed|strong="H4904";

Then he openeth|strong="H1540" the ears|strong="H0241" of men|strong="H0582", and sealeth|strong="H2856" their instruction|strong="H4561",

That he may withdraw|strong="H5493" man|strong="H0120" from his purpose|strong="H4639", and hide|strong="H3680" pride|strong="H1466" from man|strong="H1397".

He keepeth back|strong="H2820" his soul|strong="H5315" from the pit|strong="H7845", and his life|strong="H2416" from perishing|strong="H5674" by the sword|strong="H7973".

He is chastened|strong="H3198" also with pain|strong="H4341" upon his bed|strong="H4904", and the multitude|strong="H7230" of his bones|strong="H6106" with strong|strong="H0386" pain:

So that his life|strong="H2416" abhorreth|strong="H2092" bread|strong="H3899", and his soul|strong="H5315" dainty|strong="H8378" meat|strong="H3978".

His flesh|strong="H1320" is consumed away|strong="H3615", that it cannot be seen|strong="H7210"; and his bones|strong="H6106" that were not seen|strong="H7200" stick out|strong="H8192".

Yea, his soul|strong="H5315" draweth near|strong="H7126" unto the grave|strong="H7845", and his life|strong="H2416" to the destroyers|strong="H4191".

If there|strong="H3426" be a messenger|strong="H4397" with him, an interpreter|strong="H3887", one|strong="H0259" among a thousand|strong="H0505", to shew|strong="H5046" unto man|strong="H0120" his uprightness|strong="H3476":

Then he is gracious|strong="H2603" unto him, and saith|strong="H0559", Deliver|strong="H6308" him from going down|strong="H3381" to the pit|strong="H7845": I have found|strong="H4672" a ransom|strong="H3724".

His flesh|strong="H1320" shall be fresher|strong="H7375" than a child’s|strong="H5290": he shall return|strong="H7725" to the days|strong="H3117" of his youth|strong="H5934":

He shall pray|strong="H6279" unto God|strong="H0433", and he will be favourable|strong="H7521" unto him: and he shall see|strong="H7200" his face|strong="H6440" with joy|strong="H8643": for he will render|strong="H7725" unto man|strong="H0582" his righteousness|strong="H6666".

He looketh|strong="H7789" upon men|strong="H0582", and if any say|strong="H0559", I have sinned|strong="H2398", and perverted|strong="H5753" that which was right|strong="H3477", and it profited|strong="H7737" me not;

He will deliver|strong="H6299" his soul|strong="H5315" from going|strong="H5674" into the pit|strong="H7845", and his life|strong="H2416" shall see|strong="H7200" the light|strong="H0216".

Lo, all these things worketh|strong="H6466" God|strong="H0410" oftentimes|strong="H6471" with man|strong="H1397",

To bring back|strong="H7725" his soul|strong="H5315" from the pit|strong="H7845", to be enlightened|strong="H0215" with the light|strong="H0216" of the living|strong="H2416".

Mark well|strong="H7181", O Job|strong="H0347", hearken|strong="H8085" unto me: hold thy peace|strong="H2790", and I will speak|strong="H1696".

If thou hast|strong="H3426" any thing to say|strong="H4405", answer|strong="H7725" me: speak|strong="H1696", for I desire|strong="H2654" to justify|strong="H6663" thee.

If not, hearken|strong="H8085" unto me: hold thy peace|strong="H2790", and I shall teach|strong="H0502" thee wisdom|strong="H2451".
