Jó 19

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Then Job|strong="H0347" answered|strong="H6030" and said|strong="H0559",

How long will ye vex|strong="H3013" my soul|strong="H5315", and break|strong="H1792" me in pieces with words|strong="H4405"?

These ten|strong="H6235" times|strong="H6471" have ye reproached|strong="H3637" me: ye are not ashamed|strong="H0954" that ye make yourselves strange|strong="H1970" to me.

And be it indeed|strong="H0551" that I have erred|strong="H7686", mine error|strong="H4879" remaineth|strong="H3885" with myself.

If indeed|strong="H0551" ye will magnify|strong="H1431" yourselves against me, and plead|strong="H3198" against me my reproach|strong="H2781":

Know|strong="H3045" now|strong="H0645" that God|strong="H0433" hath overthrown|strong="H5791" me, and hath compassed|strong="H5362" me with his net|strong="H4686".

Behold, I cry out|strong="H6817" of wrong|strong="H2555", but I am not heard|strong="H6030": I cry aloud|strong="H7768", but there is no judgment|strong="H4941".

He hath fenced up|strong="H1443" my way|strong="H0734" that I cannot pass|strong="H5674", and he hath set|strong="H7760" darkness|strong="H2822" in my paths|strong="H5410".

He hath stripped|strong="H6584" me of my glory|strong="H3519", and taken|strong="H5493" the crown|strong="H5850" from my head|strong="H7218".

He hath destroyed|strong="H5422" me on every side|strong="H5439", and I am gone|strong="H3212": and mine hope|strong="H8615" hath he removed|strong="H5265" like a tree|strong="H6086".

He hath also kindled|strong="H2734" his wrath|strong="H0639" against me, and he counteth|strong="H2803" me unto him as one of his enemies|strong="H6862".

His troops|strong="H1416" come|strong="H0935" together|strong="H3162", and raise up|strong="H5549" their way|strong="H1870" against me, and encamp|strong="H2583" round about|strong="H5439" my tabernacle|strong="H0168".

He hath put|strong="H7368" my brethren|strong="H0251" far|strong="H7368" from me, and mine acquaintance|strong="H3045" are verily estranged|strong="H2114" from me.

My kinsfolk|strong="H7138" have failed|strong="H2308", and my familiar friends|strong="H3045" have forgotten|strong="H7911" me.

They that dwell|strong="H1481" in mine house|strong="H1004", and my maids|strong="H0519", count|strong="H2803" me for a stranger|strong="H2114": I am an alien|strong="H5237" in their sight|strong="H5869".

I called|strong="H7121" my servant|strong="H5650", and he gave me no answer|strong="H6030"; I intreated|strong="H2603" him with|strong="H1119" my mouth|strong="H6310".

My breath|strong="H7307" is strange|strong="H2114" to my wife|strong="H0802", though I intreated|strong="H2589" for the children’s|strong="H1121" sake of mine own body|strong="H0990".

Yea, young children|strong="H5759" despised|strong="H3988" me; I arose|strong="H6965", and they spake|strong="H1696" against me.

All my inward|strong="H5475" friends|strong="H4962" abhorred|strong="H8581" me: and they whom I loved|strong="H0157" are turned|strong="H2015" against me.

My bone|strong="H6106" cleaveth|strong="H1692" to my skin|strong="H5785" and to my flesh|strong="H1320", and I am escaped|strong="H4422" with the skin|strong="H5785" of my teeth|strong="H8127".

Have pity|strong="H2603" upon me, have pity|strong="H2603" upon me, O ye my friends|strong="H7453"; for the hand|strong="H3027" of God|strong="H0433" hath touched|strong="H5060" me.

Why do ye persecute|strong="H7291" me as God|strong="H0410", and are not satisfied|strong="H7646" with my flesh|strong="H1320"?

Oh that|strong="H5414" my words|strong="H4405" were now|strong="H0645" written|strong="H3789"! oh that|strong="H5414" they were printed|strong="H2710" in a book|strong="H5612"!

That they were graven|strong="H2672" with an iron|strong="H1270" pen|strong="H5842" and lead|strong="H5777" in the rock|strong="H6697" for ever|strong="H5703"!

For I know|strong="H3045" that my redeemer|strong="H1350" liveth|strong="H2416", and that he shall stand|strong="H6965" at the latter|strong="H0314" day upon the earth|strong="H6083":

And though after|strong="H0310" my skin|strong="H5785" worms destroy|strong="H5362" this body, yet in my flesh|strong="H1320" shall I see|strong="H2372" God|strong="H0433":

Whom I shall see|strong="H2372" for myself, and mine eyes|strong="H5869" shall behold|strong="H7200", and not another|strong="H2114"; though my reins|strong="H3629" be consumed|strong="H3615" within|strong="H2436" me.

But ye should say|strong="H0559", Why persecute|strong="H7291" we him, seeing the root|strong="H8328" of the matter|strong="H1697" is found|strong="H4672" in me?

Be ye afraid|strong="H1481" of the sword|strong="H2719": for wrath|strong="H2534" bringeth the punishments|strong="H5771" of|strong="H6440" the sword|strong="H2719", that ye may know|strong="H3045" there is a judgment|strong="H1779".
