Jó 18

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Then answered|strong="H6030" Bildad|strong="H1085" the Shuhite|strong="H7747", and said|strong="H0559",

How long|strong="H5704" will it be ere ye make|strong="H7760" an end|strong="H7078" of words|strong="H4405"? mark|strong="H0995", and afterwards|strong="H0310" we will speak|strong="H1696".

Wherefore are we counted|strong="H2803" as beasts|strong="H0929", and reputed vile|strong="H2933" in your sight|strong="H5869"?

He teareth|strong="H2963" himself|strong="H5315" in his anger|strong="H0639": shall the earth|strong="H0776" be forsaken|strong="H5800" for thee? and shall the rock|strong="H6697" be removed|strong="H6275" out of his place|strong="H4725"?

Yea, the light|strong="H0216" of the wicked|strong="H7563" shall be put out|strong="H1846", and the spark|strong="H7632" of his fire|strong="H0784" shall not shine|strong="H5050".

The light|strong="H0216" shall be dark|strong="H2821" in his tabernacle|strong="H0168", and his candle|strong="H5216" shall be put out|strong="H1846" with him.

The steps|strong="H6806" of his strength|strong="H0202" shall be straitened|strong="H3334", and his own counsel|strong="H6098" shall cast him down|strong="H7993".

For he is cast|strong="H7971" into a net|strong="H7568" by his own feet|strong="H7272", and he walketh|strong="H1980" upon a snare|strong="H7639".

The gin|strong="H6341" shall take|strong="H0270" him by the heel|strong="H6119", and the robber|strong="H6782" shall prevail|strong="H2388" against him.

The snare|strong="H2256" is laid|strong="H2934" for him in the ground|strong="H0776", and a trap|strong="H4434" for him in the way|strong="H5410".

Terrors|strong="H1091" shall make him afraid|strong="H1204" on every side|strong="H5439", and shall drive|strong="H6327" him to his feet|strong="H7272".

His strength|strong="H0202" shall be hungerbitten|strong="H7457", and destruction|strong="H0343" shall be ready|strong="H3559" at his side|strong="H6763".

It shall devour|strong="H0398" the strength|strong="H0905" of his skin|strong="H5785": even the firstborn|strong="H1060" of death|strong="H4194" shall devour|strong="H0398" his strength|strong="H0905".

His confidence|strong="H4009" shall be rooted out|strong="H5423" of his tabernacle|strong="H0168", and it shall bring|strong="H6805" him to the king|strong="H4428" of terrors|strong="H1091".

It shall dwell|strong="H7931" in his tabernacle|strong="H0168", because it is none|strong="H1097" of his: brimstone|strong="H1614" shall be scattered|strong="H2219" upon his habitation|strong="H5116".

His roots|strong="H8328" shall be dried up|strong="H3001" beneath, and above|strong="H4605" shall his branch|strong="H7105" be cut off|strong="H5243".

His remembrance|strong="H2143" shall perish|strong="H0006" from the earth|strong="H0776", and he shall have no name|strong="H8034" in the street|strong="H6440".

He shall be driven|strong="H1920" from light|strong="H0216" into darkness|strong="H2822", and chased|strong="H5074" out of the world|strong="H8398".

He shall neither have son|strong="H5209" nor nephew|strong="H5220" among his people|strong="H5971", nor any remaining|strong="H8300" in his dwellings|strong="H4033".

They that come after|strong="H0314" him shall be astonied|strong="H8074" at his day|strong="H3117", as they that went before|strong="H6931" were affrighted|strong="H0270".

Surely such are the dwellings|strong="H4908" of the wicked|strong="H5767", and this is the place|strong="H4725" of him that knoweth|strong="H3045" not God|strong="H0410".
