1 And the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
1 E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", What is the vine|strong="H1612" tree|strong="H6086" more than any tree|strong="H6086", or than a branch|strong="H2156" which is among the trees|strong="H6086" of the forest|strong="H3293"?
2 Filho do homem, que mais é a árvore da videira do que qualquer outra árvore, ou do que o sarmento que está entre as árvores do bosque?
3 Shall wood|strong="H6086" be taken|strong="H3947" thereof to do|strong="H6213" any work|strong="H4399"? or will men take|strong="H3947" a pin|strong="H3489" of it to hang|strong="H8518" any vessel|strong="H3627" thereon?
3 Toma-se dela madeira para fazer alguma obra? Ou toma-se dela alguma estaca, para que se lhe pendure um vaso?
4 Behold, it is cast|strong="H5414" into the fire|strong="H0784" for fuel|strong="H0402"; the fire|strong="H0784" devoureth|strong="H0398" both|strong="H8147" the ends|strong="H7098" of it, and the midst|strong="H8432" of it is burned|strong="H2787". Is it meet|strong="H6743" for any work|strong="H4399"?
4 Eis que é lançado no fogo, para ser consumido; ambas as suas extremidades consome o fogo, e o meio dela fica também queimado; serviria porventura para alguma obra?
5 Behold, when it was whole|strong="H8549", it was meet|strong="H6213" for no work|strong="H4399": how much less shall it be meet|strong="H6213" yet for any work|strong="H4399", when the fire|strong="H0784" hath devoured|strong="H0398" it, and it is burned|strong="H2787"?
5 Ora, se estando inteiro, não servia para obra alguma, quanto menos sendo consumido pelo fogo, e, sendo queimado, se faria ainda obra dele?
6 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; As the vine|strong="H1612" tree|strong="H6086" among the trees|strong="H6086" of the forest|strong="H3293", which I have given|strong="H5414" to the fire|strong="H0784" for fuel|strong="H0402", so will I give|strong="H5414" the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389".
6 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Como a árvore da videira entre as árvores do bosque, que tenho entregue ao fogo para que seja consumido, assim entregarei os habitantes de Jerusalém.
7 And I will set|strong="H5414" my face|strong="H6440" against them; they shall go out|strong="H3318" from one fire|strong="H0784", and another fire|strong="H0784" shall devour|strong="H0398" them; and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I set|strong="H7760" my face|strong="H6440" against them.
7 E porei a minha face contra eles; do fogo sairão, mas o fogo os consumirá; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, quando tiver posto a minha face contra eles.
8 And I will make|strong="H5414" the land|strong="H0776" desolate|strong="H8077", because they have committed|strong="H4603" a trespass|strong="H4604", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
8 E tornarei a terra em desolação, porquanto grandemente transgrediram, diz o Senhor DEUS.
