1 A palavra do Senhor veio a mim. Disse ele:
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", prophesy|strong="H5012" against the prophets|strong="H5030" of Israel|strong="H3478" that prophesy|strong="H5012", and say|strong="H0559" thou unto them that prophesy|strong="H5030" out of their own hearts|strong="H3820", Hear|strong="H8085" ye the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*;
2 "Filho do homem, profetize contra os profetas de Israel que estão profetizando agora. Diga àqueles que estão profetizando pela sua própria imaginação: ‘Ouçam a palavra do Senhor!
3 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Woe|strong="H1945" unto the foolish|strong="H5036" prophets|strong="H5030", that follow|strong="H1980" their own spirit|strong="H7307", and have seen|strong="H7200" nothing!
3 Assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Ai dos profetas tolos que seguem o seu próprio espírito e não viram nada!
4 O Israel|strong="H3478", thy prophets|strong="H5030" are like the foxes|strong="H7776" in the deserts|strong="H2723".
4 Seus profetas, ó Israel, são como chacais no meio de ruínas.
5 Ye have not gone up|strong="H5927" into the gaps|strong="H6556", neither made up|strong="H1443" the hedge|strong="H1447" for the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" to stand|strong="H5975" in the battle|strong="H4421" in the day|strong="H3117" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
5 Vocês não foram consertar as brechas do muro para a nação de Israel, para que ela pudesse resistir firme no combate do dia do Senhor.
6 They have seen|strong="H2372" vanity|strong="H7723" and lying|strong="H3577" divination|strong="H7081", saying|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* saith|strong="H5002": and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath not sent|strong="H7971" them: and they have made others to hope|strong="H3176" that they would confirm|strong="H6965" the word|strong="H1697".
6 Suas visões são falsas e suas adivinhações, mentira. Dizem "Palavra do Senhor", quando o Senhor não os enviou; contudo, esperam que as suas palavras se cumpram.
7 Have ye not seen|strong="H2372" a vain|strong="H7723" vision|strong="H4236", and have ye not spoken|strong="H1696" a lying|strong="H3577" divination|strong="H4738", whereas ye say|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* saith|strong="H5002" it; albeit I have not spoken|strong="H0559"?
7 Acaso vocês não tiveram visões falsas e não pronunciaram adivinhações mentirosas quando disseram "Palavra do Senhor", sendo que eu não falei?
8 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Because ye have spoken|strong="H1696" vanity|strong="H7723", and seen|strong="H2372" lies|strong="H3577", therefore, behold, I am against you, saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
8 " ‘Portanto assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Por causa de suas palavras falsas e de suas visões mentirosas, estou contra vocês, palavra do Soberano Senhor.
9 And mine hand|strong="H3027" shall be upon the prophets|strong="H5030" that see|strong="H2374" vanity|strong="H7723", and that divine|strong="H7080" lies|strong="H3577": they shall not be in the assembly|strong="H5475" of my people|strong="H5971", neither shall they be written|strong="H3789" in the writing|strong="H3791" of the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", neither shall they enter|strong="H0935" into the land|strong="H0127" of Israel|strong="H3478"; and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
9 Minha mão será contra os profetas que têm visões falsas e proferem adivinhações mentirosas. Eles não pertencerão ao conselho de meu povo, não estarão inscritos nos registros da nação de Israel e não entrarão na terra de Israel. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o Soberano Senhor.
10 Because, even because they have seduced|strong="H2937" my people|strong="H5971", saying|strong="H0559", Peace|strong="H7965"; and there was no peace|strong="H7965"; and one built up|strong="H1129" a wall|strong="H2434", and, lo|strong="H2009", others daubed|strong="H2902" it with untempered|strong="H8602" morter:
10 " ‘Por fazerem o meu povo desviar-se ao dizerem "Paz" quando não há paz, e porque, quando é construído um muro frágil, eles lhe passam cal,
11 Say|strong="H0559" unto them which daub|strong="H2902" it with untempered|strong="H8602" morter, that it shall fall|strong="H5307": there shall be an overflowing|strong="H7857" shower|strong="H1653"; and ye|strong="H0859", O great hailstones|strong="H0417", shall fall|strong="H5307"; and a stormy|strong="H5591" wind|strong="H7307" shall rend|strong="H1234" it.
11 por isso diga àqueles que lhe passam cal: o muro cairá! Virá chuva torrencial, e derramarei chuva de pedra, e rajarão ventos violentos.
12 Lo, when the wall|strong="H7023" is fallen|strong="H5307", shall it not be said|strong="H0559" unto you, Where is the daubing|strong="H2915" wherewith ye have daubed|strong="H2902" it?
12 Quando o muro desabar, o povo lhes perguntará: "Onde está a caiação que vocês fizeram? " ’ "
13 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; I will even rend|strong="H1234" it with a stormy|strong="H5591" wind|strong="H7307" in my fury|strong="H2534"; and there shall be an overflowing|strong="H7857" shower|strong="H1653" in mine anger|strong="H0639", and great hailstones|strong="H0417" in my fury|strong="H2534" to consume|strong="H3617" it.
13 " ‘Por isso, assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Na minha ira permitirei o estouro de um vento violento, e na minha indignação chuva de pedra e um aguaceiro torrencial cairão com ímpeto destruidor.
14 So will I break down|strong="H2040" the wall|strong="H7023" that ye have daubed|strong="H2902" with untempered|strong="H8602" morter, and bring|strong="H5060" it down to the ground|strong="H0776", so that the foundation|strong="H3247" thereof shall be discovered|strong="H1540", and it shall fall|strong="H5307", and ye shall be consumed|strong="H3615" in the midst|strong="H8432" thereof: and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
14 Despedaçarei o muro que vocês caiaram e o arrasarei para que se desnudem os seus alicerces. Quando ele cair, vocês serão destruídos com ele; e vocês saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
15 Thus will I accomplish|strong="H3615" my wrath|strong="H2534" upon the wall|strong="H7023", and upon them that have daubed|strong="H2902" it with untempered|strong="H8602" morter, and will say|strong="H0559" unto you, The wall|strong="H7023" is no more, neither they that daubed|strong="H2902" it;
15 Assim esgotarei minha ira contra o muro e contra aqueles que o caiaram. Direi a vocês: O muro se foi, e também aqueles que o caiaram,
16 To wit, the prophets|strong="H5030" of Israel|strong="H3478" which prophesy|strong="H5012" concerning Jerusalem|strong="H3389", and which see|strong="H2374" visions|strong="H2377" of peace|strong="H7965" for her, and there is no peace|strong="H7965", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
16 os profetas de Israel que profetizaram sobre Jerusalém e tiveram visões de paz para ela quando não havia paz, palavra do Soberano Senhor. ’
17 Likewise, thou son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", set|strong="H7760" thy face|strong="H6440" against the daughters|strong="H1323" of thy people|strong="H5971", which prophesy|strong="H5012" out of their own heart|strong="H3820"; and prophesy|strong="H5012" thou against them,
17 "Agora, filho do homem, vire o rosto contra as filhas do seu povo que profetizam pela sua própria imaginação. Profetize contra elas
18 And say|strong="H0559", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Woe|strong="H1945" to the women that sew|strong="H8609" pillows|strong="H3704" to all armholes|strong="H0679", and make|strong="H6213" kerchiefs|strong="H4555" upon the head|strong="H7218" of every stature|strong="H6967" to hunt|strong="H6679" souls|strong="H5315"! Will ye hunt|strong="H6679" the souls|strong="H5315" of my people|strong="H5971", and will ye save|strong="H2421" the souls|strong="H5315" alive|strong="H2421" that come unto you?
18 e diga: ‘Assim diz o Senhor Soberano: Ai das mulheres que costuram berloques de feitiço em todos os seus pulsos e fazem véus de vários comprimentos para a cabeça a fim de enlaçarem o povo. Pensam que vão enlaçar as vidas de meu povo e preservar as de vocês?
19 And will ye pollute|strong="H2490" me among my people|strong="H5971" for handfuls|strong="H8168" of barley|strong="H8184" and for pieces|strong="H6595" of bread|strong="H3899", to slay|strong="H4191" the souls|strong="H5315" that should not die|strong="H4191", and to save|strong="H2421" the souls|strong="H5315" alive|strong="H2421" that should not live|strong="H2421", by your lying|strong="H3576" to my people|strong="H5971" that hear|strong="H8085" your lies|strong="H3577"?
19 Vocês me profanaram no meio de meu povo em troca de uns punhados de cevada e de migalhas de pão. Ao mentirem ao meu povo, que ouve mentiras, vocês mataram aqueles que não deviam ter morrido e pouparam aqueles que não deviam viver.
20 Wherefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Behold, I am against your pillows|strong="H3704", wherewith ye|strong="H0859" there hunt|strong="H6679" the souls|strong="H5315" to make them fly|strong="H6524", and I will tear|strong="H7167" them from your arms|strong="H2220", and will let the souls|strong="H5315" go|strong="H7971", even the souls|strong="H5315" that ye hunt|strong="H6679" to make them fly|strong="H6524".
20 " ‘Por isso, assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Estou contra os seus berloques de feitiço com os quais vocês prendem o povo como se fossem passarinhos, e os arrancarei dos seus braços; porei em liberdade o povo que vocês prendem como passarinhos.
21 Your kerchiefs|strong="H4555" also will I tear|strong="H7167", and deliver|strong="H5337" my people|strong="H5971" out of your hand|strong="H3027", and they shall be no more in your hand|strong="H3027" to be hunted|strong="H4686"; and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
21 Rasgarei os seus véus e libertarei o meu povo das mãos de vocês, e eles não serão mais presas do seu poder. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
22 Because with lies|strong="H8267" ye have made the heart|strong="H3820" of the righteous|strong="H6662" sad|strong="H3512", whom I have not made sad|strong="H3510"; and strengthened|strong="H2388" the hands|strong="H3027" of the wicked|strong="H7451", that he should not return|strong="H7725" from his wicked|strong="H7563" way|strong="H1870", by promising him life|strong="H2421":
22 Por que, mentindo, vocês desencorajaram o justo, contra a minha vontade, e encorajaram os ímpios a não se desviarem dos seus maus caminhos para salvarem as suas vidas,
23 Therefore ye shall see|strong="H2372" no more vanity|strong="H7723", nor divine|strong="H7080" divinations|strong="H7081": for I will deliver|strong="H5337" my people|strong="H5971" out of your hand|strong="H3027": and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
23 vocês não terão mais visões falsas e nunca mais vão praticar adivinhação. Livrarei o meu povo das mãos de vocês. E então vocês saberão que eu sou o Senhor’ ".
