1 The word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* also came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", thou dwellest|strong="H3427" in the midst|strong="H8432" of a rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004", which have eyes|strong="H5869" to see|strong="H7200", and see|strong="H7200" not; they have ears|strong="H0241" to hear|strong="H8085", and hear|strong="H8085" not: for they are a rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004".
3 Therefore, thou son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", prepare|strong="H6213" thee stuff|strong="H3627" for removing|strong="H1473", and remove|strong="H1540" by day|strong="H3119" in their sight|strong="H5869"; and thou shalt remove|strong="H1540" from thy place|strong="H4725" to another|strong="H0312" place|strong="H4725" in their sight|strong="H5869": it may be they will consider|strong="H7200", though they be a rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004".
4 Then shalt thou bring forth|strong="H3318" thy stuff|strong="H3627" by day|strong="H3119" in their sight|strong="H5869", as stuff|strong="H3627" for removing|strong="H1473": and thou shalt go forth|strong="H3318" at even|strong="H6153" in their sight|strong="H5869", as they that go forth|strong="H4161" into captivity|strong="H1473".
5 Dig|strong="H2864" thou through the wall|strong="H7023" in their sight|strong="H5869", and carry out|strong="H3318" thereby.
6 In their sight|strong="H5869" shalt thou bear|strong="H5375" it upon thy shoulders|strong="H3802", and carry it forth|strong="H3318" in the twilight|strong="H5939": thou shalt cover|strong="H3680" thy face|strong="H6440", that thou see|strong="H7200" not the ground|strong="H0776": for I have set|strong="H5414" thee for a sign|strong="H4159" unto the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478".
7 And I did|strong="H6213" so as I was commanded|strong="H6680": I brought forth|strong="H3318" my stuff|strong="H3627" by day|strong="H3119", as stuff|strong="H3627" for captivity|strong="H1473", and in the even|strong="H6153" I digged|strong="H2864" through the wall|strong="H7023" with mine hand|strong="H3027"; I brought it forth|strong="H3318" in the twilight|strong="H5939", and I bare|strong="H5375" it upon my shoulder|strong="H3802" in their sight|strong="H5869".
8 And in the morning|strong="H1242" came the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
9 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", hath not the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", the rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004", said|strong="H0559" unto thee, What doest|strong="H6213" thou?
10 Say|strong="H0559" thou unto them, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; This burden|strong="H4853" concerneth the prince|strong="H5387" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389", and all the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" that are among|strong="H8432" them.
11 Say|strong="H0559", I am your sign|strong="H4159": like as I have done|strong="H6213", so shall it be done|strong="H6213" unto them: they shall remove|strong="H1473" and go|strong="H3212" into captivity|strong="H7628".
12 And the prince|strong="H5387" that is among|strong="H8432" them shall bear|strong="H5375" upon his shoulder|strong="H3802" in the twilight|strong="H5939", and shall go forth|strong="H3318": they shall dig|strong="H2864" through the wall|strong="H7023" to carry out|strong="H3318" thereby: he shall cover|strong="H3680" his face|strong="H6440", that|strong="H3282" he see|strong="H7200" not the ground|strong="H0776" with his eyes|strong="H5869".
13 My net|strong="H7568" also will I spread|strong="H6566" upon him, and he shall be taken|strong="H8610" in my snare|strong="H4686": and I will bring|strong="H0935" him to Babylon|strong="H0894" to the land|strong="H0776" of the Chaldeans|strong="H3778"; yet shall he not see|strong="H7200" it, though he shall die|strong="H4191" there.
14 And I will scatter|strong="H2219" toward every wind|strong="H7307" all that are about|strong="H5439" him to help|strong="H5828" him, and all his bands|strong="H0102"; and I will draw out|strong="H7324" the sword|strong="H2719" after|strong="H0310" them.
15 And they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I shall scatter|strong="H6327" them among the nations|strong="H1471", and disperse|strong="H2219" them in the countries|strong="H0776".
16 But I will leave|strong="H3498" a few|strong="H4557" men|strong="H0582" of them from the sword|strong="H2719", from the famine|strong="H7458", and from the pestilence|strong="H1698"; that they may declare|strong="H5608" all their abominations|strong="H8441" among the heathen|strong="H1471" whither they come|strong="H0935"; and they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
17 Moreover the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came to me, saying|strong="H0559",
18 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", eat|strong="H0398" thy bread|strong="H3899" with quaking|strong="H7494", and drink|strong="H8354" thy water|strong="H4325" with trembling|strong="H7269" and with carefulness|strong="H1674";
19 And say|strong="H0559" unto the people|strong="H5971" of the land|strong="H0127", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w* of the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389", and of the land|strong="H0776" of Israel|strong="H3478"; They shall eat|strong="H0398" their bread|strong="H3899" with carefulness|strong="H1674", and drink|strong="H8354" their water|strong="H4325" with astonishment|strong="H8078", that her land|strong="H0776" may be desolate|strong="H3456" from all that is therein|strong="H4393", because of the violence|strong="H2555" of all them that dwell|strong="H3427" therein.
20 And the cities|strong="H5892" that are inhabited|strong="H3427" shall be laid waste|strong="H2717", and the land|strong="H0776" shall be desolate|strong="H8077"; and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
21 And the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
22 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", what is that proverb|strong="H4912" that ye have in the land|strong="H0127" of Israel|strong="H3478", saying|strong="H0559", The days|strong="H3117" are prolonged|strong="H0748", and every vision|strong="H2377" faileth|strong="H0006"?
23 Tell|strong="H0559" them therefore, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; I will make this proverb|strong="H4912" to cease|strong="H7673", and they shall no more use it as a proverb|strong="H4911" in Israel|strong="H3478"; but say|strong="H1696" unto them, The days|strong="H3117" are at hand|strong="H7126", and the effect|strong="H1697" of every vision|strong="H2377".
24 For there shall be no more any vain|strong="H7723" vision|strong="H2377" nor flattering|strong="H2509" divination|strong="H4738" within|strong="H8432" the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478".
25 For I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: I will speak|strong="H1696", and the word|strong="H1697" that I shall speak|strong="H1696" shall come to pass|strong="H6213"; it shall be no more prolonged|strong="H4900": for in your days|strong="H3117", O rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004", will I say|strong="H1696" the word|strong="H1697", and will perform|strong="H6213" it, saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
26 Again the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came to me, saying|strong="H0559",
27 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", behold, they of the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" say|strong="H0559", The vision|strong="H2377" that he seeth|strong="H2372" is for many|strong="H7227" days|strong="H3117" to come, and he prophesieth|strong="H5012" of the times|strong="H6256" that are far|strong="H7350" off.
28 Therefore say|strong="H0559" unto them, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; There shall none of my words|strong="H1697" be prolonged|strong="H4900" any more, but the word|strong="H1697" which I have spoken|strong="H1696" shall be done|strong="H6213", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
