1 The priests|strong="H3548" the Levites|strong="H3881", and all the tribe|strong="H7626" of Levi|strong="H3878", shall have no part|strong="H2506" nor inheritance|strong="H5159" with Israel|strong="H3478": they shall eat|strong="H0398" the offerings|strong="H0801" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* made by fire|strong="H0801", and his inheritance|strong="H5159".
2 Therefore shall they have no inheritance|strong="H5159" among|strong="H7130" their brethren|strong="H0251": the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is their inheritance|strong="H5159", as he hath said|strong="H1696" unto them.
3 And this shall be the priest’s|strong="H3548" due|strong="H4941" from the people|strong="H5971", from them that offer|strong="H2076" a sacrifice|strong="H2077", whether it be ox|strong="H7794" or sheep|strong="H7716"; and they shall give|strong="H5414" unto the priest|strong="H3548" the shoulder|strong="H2220", and the two cheeks|strong="H3895", and the maw|strong="H6896".
4 The firstfruit|strong="H7225" also of thy corn|strong="H1715", of thy wine|strong="H8492", and of thine oil|strong="H3323", and the first|strong="H7225" of the fleece|strong="H1488" of thy sheep|strong="H6629", shalt thou give|strong="H5414" him.
5 For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" hath chosen|strong="H0977" him out of all thy tribes|strong="H7626", to stand|strong="H5975" to minister|strong="H8334" in the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, him and his sons|strong="H1121" for ever|strong="H3117".
6 And if a Levite|strong="H3881" come|strong="H0935" from any|strong="H0259" of thy gates|strong="H8179" out of all Israel|strong="H3478", where he sojourned|strong="H1481", and come|strong="H0935" with all the desire|strong="H0185" of his mind|strong="H5315" unto the place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall choose|strong="H0977";
7 Then he shall minister|strong="H8334" in the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* his God|strong="H0430", as all his brethren|strong="H0251" the Levites|strong="H3881" do, which stand|strong="H5975" there before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
8 They shall have like portions|strong="H2506" to eat|strong="H0398", beside that which cometh of the sale|strong="H4465" of his patrimony|strong="H0001".
9 When thou art come|strong="H0935" into the land|strong="H0776" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" giveth|strong="H5414" thee, thou shalt not learn|strong="H3925" to do|strong="H6213" after the abominations|strong="H8441" of those nations|strong="H1471".
10 There shall not be found|strong="H4672" among you any one that maketh his son|strong="H1121" or his daughter|strong="H1323" to pass|strong="H5674" through the fire|strong="H0784", or that useth|strong="H7080" divination|strong="H7081", or an observer of times|strong="H6049", or an enchanter|strong="H5172", or a witch|strong="H3784",
11 Or a charmer|strong="H2266", or a consulter|strong="H7592" with familiar spirits|strong="H0178", or a wizard|strong="H3049", or a necromancer|strong="H1875".
12 For all that do|strong="H6213" these things are an abomination|strong="H8441" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and because|strong="H1558" of these abominations|strong="H8441" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" doth drive them out|strong="H3423" from before|strong="H6440" thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect|strong="H8549" with the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430".
14 For these nations|strong="H1471", which thou shalt possess|strong="H3423", hearkened|strong="H8085" unto observers of times|strong="H6049", and unto diviners|strong="H7080": but as for thee, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" hath not suffered|strong="H5414" thee so to do.
15 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" will raise up|strong="H6965" unto thee a Prophet|strong="H5030" from the midst|strong="H7130" of thee, of thy brethren|strong="H0251", like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken|strong="H8085";
16 According to all that thou desiredst|strong="H7592" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" in Horeb|strong="H2722" in the day|strong="H3117" of the assembly|strong="H6951", saying|strong="H0559", Let me not hear|strong="H8085" again|strong="H3254" the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* my God|strong="H0430", neither let me see|strong="H7200" this great|strong="H1419" fire|strong="H0784" any more, that I die|strong="H4191" not.
17 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto me, They have well|strong="H3190" spoken that which they have spoken|strong="H1696".
18 I will raise them up|strong="H6965" a Prophet|strong="H5030" from among|strong="H7130" their brethren|strong="H0251", like unto thee, and will put|strong="H5414" my words|strong="H1697" in his mouth|strong="H6310"; and he shall speak|strong="H1696" unto them all that I shall command|strong="H6680" him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever|strong="H0376" will not hearken|strong="H8085" unto my words|strong="H1697" which he shall speak|strong="H1696" in my name|strong="H8034", I will require|strong="H1875" it of him.
20 But the prophet|strong="H5030", which shall presume|strong="H2102" to speak|strong="H1696" a word|strong="H1697" in my name|strong="H8034", which I have not commanded|strong="H6680" him to speak|strong="H1696", or that shall speak|strong="H1696" in the name|strong="H8034" of other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430", even that prophet|strong="H5030" shall die|strong="H4191".
21 And if thou say|strong="H0559" in thine heart|strong="H3824", How shall we know|strong="H3045" the word|strong="H1697" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath not spoken|strong="H1696"?
22 When a prophet|strong="H5030" speaketh|strong="H1696" in the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, if the thing|strong="H1697" follow not, nor come to pass|strong="H0935", that is the thing|strong="H1697" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath not spoken|strong="H1696", but the prophet|strong="H5030" hath spoken|strong="H1696" it presumptuously|strong="H2087": thou shalt not be afraid|strong="H1481" of him.
