1 Thou shalt not sacrifice|strong="H2076" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" any bullock|strong="H7794", or sheep|strong="H7716", wherein is blemish|strong="H3971", or any evilfavouredness|strong="H7451": for that is an abomination|strong="H8441" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430".
2 If there be found|strong="H4672" among|strong="H7130" you, within any|strong="H0259" of thy gates|strong="H8179" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" giveth|strong="H5414" thee, man|strong="H0376" or woman|strong="H0802", that hath wrought|strong="H6213" wickedness|strong="H7451" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", in transgressing|strong="H5674" his covenant|strong="H1285",
3 And hath gone|strong="H3212" and served|strong="H5647" other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430", and worshipped|strong="H7812" them, either the sun|strong="H8121", or moon|strong="H3394", or any of the host|strong="H6635" of heaven|strong="H8064", which I have not commanded|strong="H6680";
4 And it be told|strong="H5046" thee, and thou hast heard|strong="H8085" of it, and enquired|strong="H1875" diligently|strong="H3190", and, behold, it be true|strong="H0571", and the thing|strong="H1697" certain|strong="H3559", that such abomination|strong="H8441" is wrought|strong="H6213" in Israel|strong="H3478":
5 Then shalt thou bring forth|strong="H3318" that man|strong="H0376" or that woman|strong="H0802", which have committed|strong="H6213" that wicked|strong="H7451" thing|strong="H1697", unto thy gates|strong="H8179", even that man|strong="H0376" or that woman|strong="H0802", and shalt stone|strong="H5619" them with stones|strong="H0068", till they die|strong="H4191".
6 At the mouth|strong="H6310" of two|strong="H8147" witnesses|strong="H5707", or three|strong="H7969" witnesses|strong="H5707", shall he that is worthy of death|strong="H4191" be put to death|strong="H4191"; but at the mouth|strong="H6310" of one|strong="H0259" witness|strong="H5707" he shall not be put to death|strong="H4191".
7 The hands|strong="H3027" of the witnesses|strong="H5707" shall be first|strong="H7223" upon him to put him to death|strong="H4191", and afterward|strong="H0314" the hands|strong="H3027" of all the people|strong="H5971". So thou shalt put|strong="H1197" the evil|strong="H7451" away|strong="H1197" from among|strong="H7130" you.
8 If there arise a matter|strong="H1697" too hard|strong="H6381" for thee in judgment|strong="H4941", between blood|strong="H1818" and blood|strong="H1818", between plea|strong="H1779" and plea|strong="H1779", and between stroke|strong="H5061" and stroke|strong="H5061", being matters|strong="H1697" of controversy|strong="H7379" within thy gates|strong="H8179": then shalt thou arise|strong="H6965", and get thee up|strong="H5927" into the place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" shall choose|strong="H0977";
9 And thou shalt come|strong="H0935" unto the priests|strong="H3548" the Levites|strong="H3881", and unto the judge|strong="H8199" that shall be in those days|strong="H3117", and enquire|strong="H1875"; and they shall shew|strong="H5046" thee the sentence|strong="H1697" of judgment|strong="H4941":
10 And thou shalt do|strong="H6213" according to the sentence|strong="H6310", which they of that place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall choose|strong="H0977" shall shew|strong="H5046" thee; and thou shalt observe|strong="H8104" to do|strong="H6213" according to all that they inform|strong="H3384" thee:
11 According to the sentence|strong="H6310" of the law|strong="H8451" which they shall teach|strong="H3384" thee, and according to the judgment|strong="H4941" which they shall tell|strong="H0559" thee, thou shalt do|strong="H6213": thou shalt not decline|strong="H5493" from the sentence|strong="H1697" which they shall shew|strong="H5046" thee, to the right hand|strong="H3225", nor to the left|strong="H8040".
12 And the man|strong="H0376" that will do|strong="H6213" presumptuously|strong="H2087", and will not hearken|strong="H8085" unto the priest|strong="H3548" that standeth|strong="H5975" to minister|strong="H8334" there before the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", or unto the judge|strong="H8199", even that man|strong="H0376" shall die|strong="H4191": and thou shalt put away|strong="H1197" the evil|strong="H7451" from Israel|strong="H3478".
13 And all the people|strong="H5971" shall hear|strong="H8085", and fear|strong="H3372", and do no more presumptuously|strong="H2102".
14 When thou art come|strong="H0935" unto the land|strong="H0776" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" giveth|strong="H5414" thee, and shalt possess|strong="H3423" it, and shalt dwell|strong="H3427" therein, and shalt say|strong="H0559", I will set|strong="H7760" a king|strong="H4428" over me, like as all the nations|strong="H1471" that are about|strong="H5439" me;
15 Thou shalt in any wise|strong="H7760" set|strong="H7760" him king|strong="H4428" over thee, whom the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" shall choose|strong="H0977": one from among|strong="H7130" thy brethren|strong="H0251" shalt thou set|strong="H7760" king|strong="H4428" over thee: thou mayest|strong="H3201" not set|strong="H5414" a stranger|strong="H5237" over thee, which is not thy brother|strong="H0251".
16 But he shall not multiply|strong="H7235" horses|strong="H5483" to himself, nor cause the people|strong="H5971" to return|strong="H7725" to Egypt|strong="H4714", to the end that he should multiply|strong="H7235" horses|strong="H5483": forasmuch as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath said|strong="H0559" unto you, Ye shall henceforth|strong="H3254" return|strong="H7725" no more that way|strong="H1870".
17 Neither shall he multiply|strong="H7235" wives|strong="H0802" to himself, that his heart|strong="H3824" turn|strong="H5493" not away: neither shall he greatly|strong="H3966" multiply|strong="H7235" to himself silver|strong="H3701" and gold|strong="H2091".
18 And it shall be, when he sitteth|strong="H3427" upon the throne|strong="H3678" of his kingdom|strong="H4467", that he shall write|strong="H3789" him a copy|strong="H4932" of this law|strong="H8451" in a book|strong="H5612" out of that which is before|strong="H6440" the priests|strong="H3548" the Levites|strong="H3881":
19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read|strong="H7121" therein all the days|strong="H3117" of his life|strong="H2416": that he may learn|strong="H3925" to fear|strong="H3372" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* his God|strong="H0430", to keep|strong="H8104" all the words|strong="H1697" of this law|strong="H8451" and these statutes|strong="H2706", to do|strong="H6213" them:
20 That his heart|strong="H3824" be not lifted up|strong="H7311" above his brethren|strong="H0251", and that he turn not aside|strong="H5493" from the commandment|strong="H4687", to the right hand|strong="H3225", or to the left|strong="H8040": to the end that he may prolong|strong="H0748" his days|strong="H3117" in his kingdom|strong="H4467", he, and his children|strong="H1121", in the midst|strong="H7130" of Israel|strong="H3478".
