1 Therefore thou shalt love|strong="H0157" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", and keep|strong="H8104" his charge|strong="H4931", and his statutes|strong="H2708", and his judgments|strong="H4941", and his commandments|strong="H4687", alway|strong="H3117".
2 And know|strong="H3045" ye this day|strong="H3117": for I speak not with your children|strong="H1121" which have not known|strong="H3045", and which have not seen|strong="H7200" the chastisement|strong="H4148" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", his greatness|strong="H1433", his mighty|strong="H2389" hand|strong="H3027", and his stretched out|strong="H5186" arm|strong="H2220",
3 And his miracles|strong="H0226", and his acts|strong="H4639", which he did|strong="H6213" in the midst|strong="H8432" of Egypt|strong="H4714" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547" the king|strong="H4428" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and unto all his land|strong="H0776";
4 And what he did|strong="H6213" unto the army|strong="H2428" of Egypt|strong="H4714", unto their horses|strong="H5483", and to their chariots|strong="H7393"; how he made the water|strong="H4325" of the Red|strong="H5488" sea|strong="H3220" to overflow|strong="H6687" them|strong="H6440" as they pursued|strong="H7291" after|strong="H0310" you, and how the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath destroyed|strong="H0006" them unto this day|strong="H3117";
5 And what he did|strong="H6213" unto you in the wilderness|strong="H4057", until ye came|strong="H0935" into this place|strong="H4725";
6 And what he did|strong="H6213" unto Dathan|strong="H1885" and Abiram|strong="H0048", the sons|strong="H1121" of Eliab|strong="H0446", the son|strong="H1121" of Reuben|strong="H7205": how the earth|strong="H0776" opened|strong="H6475" her mouth|strong="H6310", and swallowed them up|strong="H1104", and their households|strong="H1004", and their tents|strong="H0168", and all the substance|strong="H3351" that was in their possession|strong="H7272", in the midst|strong="H7130" of all Israel|strong="H3478":
7 But your eyes|strong="H5869" have seen|strong="H7200" all the great|strong="H1419" acts|strong="H4639" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* which he did|strong="H6213".
8 Therefore shall ye keep|strong="H8104" all the commandments|strong="H4687" which|strong="H0834" I command|strong="H6680" you this day|strong="H3117", that ye may be strong|strong="H2388", and go in|strong="H0935" and possess|strong="H3423" the land|strong="H0776", whither ye go|strong="H5674" to possess|strong="H3423" it;
9 And that ye may prolong|strong="H0748" your days|strong="H3117" in the land|strong="H0127", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* sware|strong="H7650" unto your fathers|strong="H0001" to give|strong="H5414" unto them and to their seed|strong="H2233", a land|strong="H0776" that floweth|strong="H2100" with milk|strong="H2461" and honey|strong="H1706".
10 For the land|strong="H0776", whither thou goest in|strong="H0935" to possess|strong="H3423" it, is not as the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", from whence ye came out|strong="H3318", where thou sowedst|strong="H2232" thy seed|strong="H2233", and wateredst|strong="H8248" it with thy foot|strong="H7272", as a garden|strong="H1588" of herbs|strong="H3419":
11 But the land|strong="H0776", whither ye go|strong="H5674" to possess|strong="H3423" it, is a land|strong="H0776" of hills|strong="H2022" and valleys|strong="H1237", and drinketh|strong="H8354" water|strong="H4325" of the rain|strong="H4306" of heaven|strong="H8064":
12 A land|strong="H0776" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" careth for|strong="H1875": the eyes|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" are always|strong="H8548" upon it, from the beginning|strong="H7225" of the year|strong="H8141" even unto the end|strong="H0319" of the year|strong="H8141".
13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken|strong="H8085" diligently|strong="H8085" unto my commandments|strong="H4687" which I command|strong="H6680" you this day|strong="H3117", to love|strong="H0157" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", and to serve|strong="H5647" him with all your heart|strong="H3824" and with all your soul|strong="H5315",
14 That I will give|strong="H5414" you the rain|strong="H4306" of your land|strong="H0776" in his due season|strong="H6256", the first rain|strong="H3138" and the latter rain|strong="H4456", that thou mayest gather|strong="H0622" in thy corn|strong="H1715", and thy wine|strong="H8492", and thine oil|strong="H3323".
15 And I will send|strong="H5414" grass|strong="H6212" in thy fields|strong="H7704" for thy cattle|strong="H0929", that thou mayest eat|strong="H0398" and be full|strong="H7646".
16 Take heed|strong="H8104" to yourselves, that your heart|strong="H3824" be not deceived|strong="H6601", and ye turn aside|strong="H5493", and serve|strong="H5647" other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430", and worship|strong="H7812" them;
17 And then the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* wrath|strong="H0639" be kindled|strong="H2734" against you, and he shut up|strong="H6113" the heaven|strong="H8064", that there be no rain|strong="H4306", and that the land|strong="H0127" yield|strong="H5414" not her fruit|strong="H2981"; and lest ye perish|strong="H0006" quickly|strong="H4120" from off the good|strong="H2896" land|strong="H0776" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* giveth|strong="H5414" you.
18 Therefore shall ye lay up|strong="H7760" these my words|strong="H1697" in your heart|strong="H3824" and in your soul|strong="H5315", and bind|strong="H7194" them for a sign|strong="H0226" upon your hand|strong="H3027", that they may be as frontlets|strong="H2903" between your eyes|strong="H5869".
19 And ye shall teach|strong="H3925" them your children|strong="H1121", speaking|strong="H1696" of them when thou sittest|strong="H3427" in thine house|strong="H1004", and when thou walkest|strong="H3212" by the way|strong="H1870", when thou liest|strong="H7901" down, and when thou risest up|strong="H6965".
20 And thou shalt write|strong="H3789" them upon the door posts|strong="H4201" of thine house|strong="H1004", and upon thy gates|strong="H8179":
21 That your days|strong="H3117" may be multiplied|strong="H7235", and the days|strong="H3117" of your children|strong="H1121", in the land|strong="H0127" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* sware|strong="H7650" unto your fathers|strong="H0001" to give|strong="H5414" them, as the days|strong="H3117" of heaven|strong="H8064" upon the earth|strong="H0776".
22 For if ye shall diligently|strong="H8104" keep|strong="H8104" all these commandments|strong="H4687" which I command|strong="H6680" you, to do|strong="H6213" them, to love|strong="H0157" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", to walk|strong="H3212" in all his ways|strong="H1870", and to cleave|strong="H1692" unto him;
23 Then will the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* drive out|strong="H3423" all these nations|strong="H1471" from before|strong="H6440" you, and ye shall possess|strong="H3423" greater|strong="H1419" nations|strong="H1471" and mightier|strong="H6099" than yourselves.
24 Every place|strong="H4725" whereon the soles|strong="H3709" of your feet|strong="H7272" shall tread|strong="H1869" shall be yours: from the wilderness|strong="H4057" and Lebanon|strong="H3844", from the river|strong="H5104", the river|strong="H5104" Euphrates|strong="H6578", even unto the uttermost|strong="H0314" sea|strong="H3220" shall your coast|strong="H1366" be.
25 There shall no man|strong="H0376" be able to stand|strong="H3320" before|strong="H6440" you: for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430" shall lay|strong="H5414" the fear|strong="H6343" of you and the dread|strong="H4172" of you upon|strong="H6440" all the land|strong="H0776" that ye shall tread|strong="H1869" upon, as he hath said|strong="H1696" unto you.
26 Behold|strong="H7200", I set|strong="H5414" before|strong="H6440" you this day|strong="H3117" a blessing|strong="H1293" and a curse|strong="H7045";
27 A blessing|strong="H1293", if ye obey|strong="H8085" the commandments|strong="H4687" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", which I command|strong="H6680" you this day|strong="H3117":
28 And a curse|strong="H7045", if ye will not obey|strong="H8085" the commandments|strong="H4687" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", but turn aside|strong="H5493" out of the way|strong="H1870" which I command|strong="H6680" you this day|strong="H3117", to go|strong="H3212" after|strong="H0310" other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430", which ye have not known|strong="H3045".
29 And it shall come to pass, when the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" hath brought thee in|strong="H0935" unto the land|strong="H0776" whither thou goest|strong="H0935" to possess|strong="H3423" it, that thou shalt put|strong="H5414" the blessing|strong="H1293" upon mount|strong="H2022" Gerizim|strong="H1630", and the curse|strong="H7045" upon mount|strong="H2022" Ebal|strong="H5858".
30 Are they not on the other side|strong="H5676" Jordan|strong="H3383", by|strong="H0310" the way|strong="H1870" where the sun|strong="H8121" goeth down|strong="H3996", in the land|strong="H0776" of the Canaanites|strong="H3669", which dwell|strong="H3427" in the champaign|strong="H6160" over against|strong="H4136" Gilgal|strong="H1537", beside|strong="H0681" the plains|strong="H0436" of Moreh|strong="H4176"?
31 For ye shall pass over|strong="H5674" Jordan|strong="H3383" to go in|strong="H0935" to possess|strong="H3423" the land|strong="H0776" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430" giveth|strong="H5414" you, and ye shall possess|strong="H3423" it, and dwell|strong="H3427" therein.
32 And ye shall observe|strong="H8104" to do|strong="H6213" all the statutes|strong="H2706" and judgments|strong="H4941" which I set|strong="H5414" before|strong="H6440" you this day|strong="H3117".
