1 These are the statutes|strong="H2706" and judgments|strong="H4941", which ye shall observe|strong="H8104" to do|strong="H6213" in the land|strong="H0776", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of thy fathers|strong="H0001" giveth|strong="H5414" thee to possess|strong="H3423" it, all the days|strong="H3117" that ye live|strong="H2416" upon the earth|strong="H0127".
2 Ye shall utterly|strong="H0006" destroy|strong="H0006" all the places|strong="H4725", wherein the nations|strong="H1471" which|strong="H0834" ye shall possess|strong="H3423" served|strong="H5647" their gods|strong="H0430", upon the high|strong="H7311" mountains|strong="H2022", and upon the hills|strong="H1389", and under every green|strong="H7488" tree|strong="H6086":
3 And ye shall overthrow|strong="H5422" their altars|strong="H4196", and break|strong="H7665" their pillars|strong="H4676", and burn|strong="H8313" their groves|strong="H0842" with fire|strong="H0784"; and ye shall hew down|strong="H1438" the graven images|strong="H6456" of their gods|strong="H0430", and destroy|strong="H0006" the names|strong="H8034" of them out of that place|strong="H4725".
4 Ye shall not do so|strong="H6213" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430".
5 But unto the place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430" shall choose|strong="H0977" out of all your tribes|strong="H7626" to put|strong="H7760" his name|strong="H8034" there, even unto his habitation|strong="H7933" shall ye seek|strong="H1875", and thither thou shalt come|strong="H0935":
6 And thither ye shall bring|strong="H0935" your burnt offerings|strong="H5930", and your sacrifices|strong="H2077", and your tithes|strong="H4643", and heave offerings|strong="H8641" of your hand|strong="H3027", and your vows|strong="H5088", and your freewill offerings|strong="H5071", and the firstlings|strong="H1062" of your herds|strong="H1241" and of your flocks|strong="H6629":
7 And there ye shall eat|strong="H0398" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", and ye shall rejoice|strong="H8055" in all that ye put|strong="H4916" your hand|strong="H3027" unto, ye and your households|strong="H1004", wherein the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" hath blessed|strong="H1288" thee.
8 Ye shall not do|strong="H6213" after all the things that we do|strong="H6213" here this day|strong="H3117", every man|strong="H0376" whatsoever is right|strong="H3477" in his own eyes|strong="H5869".
9 For ye are not as yet come|strong="H0935" to the rest|strong="H4496" and to the inheritance|strong="H5159", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430" giveth|strong="H5414" you.
10 But when ye go over|strong="H5674" Jordan|strong="H3383", and dwell|strong="H3427" in the land|strong="H0776" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430" giveth you to inherit|strong="H5157", and when he giveth you rest|strong="H5117" from all your enemies|strong="H0341" round about|strong="H5439", so that ye dwell|strong="H3427" in safety|strong="H0983";
11 Then there shall be a place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430" shall choose|strong="H0977" to cause his name|strong="H8034" to dwell|strong="H7931" there; thither shall ye bring|strong="H0935" all that I command|strong="H6680" you; your burnt offerings|strong="H5930", and your sacrifices|strong="H2077", your tithes|strong="H4643", and the heave offering|strong="H8641" of your hand|strong="H3027", and all your choice|strong="H4005" vows|strong="H5088" which ye vow|strong="H5087" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:
12 And ye shall rejoice|strong="H8055" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", ye, and your sons|strong="H1121", and your daughters|strong="H1323", and your menservants|strong="H5650", and your maidservants|strong="H0519", and the Levite|strong="H3881" that is within your gates|strong="H8179"; forasmuch|strong="H3588" as he hath no part|strong="H2506" nor inheritance|strong="H5159" with you.
13 Take heed|strong="H8104" to thyself that thou offer|strong="H5927" not thy burnt offerings|strong="H5930" in every place|strong="H4725" that thou seest|strong="H7200":
14 But in the place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall choose|strong="H0977" in one|strong="H0259" of thy tribes|strong="H7626", there thou shalt offer|strong="H5927" thy burnt offerings|strong="H5930", and there thou shalt do|strong="H6213" all that I command|strong="H6680" thee.
15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill|strong="H2076" and eat|strong="H0398" flesh|strong="H1320" in all thy gates|strong="H8179", whatsoever thy soul|strong="H5315" lusteth after|strong="H0185", according to the blessing|strong="H1293" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" which he hath given|strong="H5414" thee: the unclean|strong="H2931" and the clean|strong="H2889" may eat|strong="H0398" thereof, as of the roebuck|strong="H6643", and as of the hart|strong="H0354".
16 Only ye shall not eat|strong="H0398" the blood|strong="H1818"; ye shall pour|strong="H8210" it upon the earth|strong="H0776" as water|strong="H4325".
17 Thou mayest|strong="H3201" not eat|strong="H0398" within thy gates|strong="H8179" the tithe|strong="H4643" of thy corn|strong="H1715", or of thy wine|strong="H8492", or of thy oil|strong="H3323", or the firstlings|strong="H1062" of thy herds|strong="H1241" or of thy flock|strong="H6629", nor any of thy vows|strong="H5088" which thou vowest|strong="H5087", nor thy freewill offerings|strong="H5071", or heave offering|strong="H8641" of thine hand|strong="H3027":
18 But thou must eat|strong="H0398" them before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" in the place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" shall choose|strong="H0977", thou, and thy son|strong="H1121", and thy daughter|strong="H1323", and thy manservant|strong="H5650", and thy maidservant|strong="H0519", and the Levite|strong="H3881" that is within thy gates|strong="H8179": and thou shalt rejoice|strong="H8055" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" in all that thou puttest|strong="H4916" thine hands|strong="H3027" unto.
19 Take heed|strong="H8104" to thyself that thou forsake|strong="H5800" not the Levite|strong="H3881" as long as thou livest|strong="H3117" upon the earth|strong="H0127".
20 When the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" shall enlarge|strong="H7337" thy border|strong="H1366", as he hath promised|strong="H1696" thee, and thou shalt say|strong="H0559", I will eat|strong="H0398" flesh|strong="H1320", because thy soul|strong="H5315" longeth|strong="H0183" to eat|strong="H0398" flesh|strong="H1320"; thou mayest eat|strong="H0398" flesh|strong="H1320", whatsoever thy soul|strong="H5315" lusteth after|strong="H0185".
21 If the place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" hath chosen|strong="H0977" to put|strong="H7760" his name|strong="H8034" there be too far|strong="H7368" from thee, then thou shalt kill|strong="H2076" of thy herd|strong="H1241" and of thy flock|strong="H6629", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath given|strong="H5414" thee, as I have commanded|strong="H6680" thee, and thou shalt eat|strong="H0398" in thy gates|strong="H8179" whatsoever thy soul|strong="H5315" lusteth after|strong="H0185".
22 Even as the roebuck|strong="H6643" and the hart|strong="H0354" is eaten|strong="H0398", so thou shalt eat|strong="H0398" them: the unclean|strong="H2931" and the clean|strong="H2889" shall eat|strong="H0398" of them alike|strong="H3162".
23 Only be sure|strong="H2388" that thou eat|strong="H0398" not the blood|strong="H1818": for the blood|strong="H1818" is the life|strong="H5315"; and thou mayest not eat|strong="H0398" the life|strong="H5315" with the flesh|strong="H1320".
24 Thou shalt not eat|strong="H0398" it; thou shalt pour|strong="H8210" it upon the earth|strong="H0776" as water|strong="H4325".
25 Thou shalt not eat|strong="H0398" it; that it may go well|strong="H3190" with thee, and with thy children|strong="H1121" after|strong="H0310" thee, when thou shalt do|strong="H6213" that which is right|strong="H3477" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
26 Only thy holy things|strong="H6944" which thou hast, and thy vows|strong="H5088", thou shalt take|strong="H5375", and go|strong="H0935" unto the place|strong="H4725" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall choose|strong="H0977":
27 And thou shalt offer|strong="H6213" thy burnt offerings|strong="H5930", the flesh|strong="H1320" and the blood|strong="H1818", upon the altar|strong="H4196" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430": and the blood|strong="H1818" of thy sacrifices|strong="H2077" shall be poured out|strong="H8210" upon the altar|strong="H4196" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", and thou shalt eat|strong="H0398" the flesh|strong="H1320".
28 Observe|strong="H8104" and hear|strong="H8085" all these words|strong="H1697" which I command|strong="H6680" thee, that it may go well|strong="H3190" with thee, and with thy children|strong="H1121" after|strong="H0310" thee for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769", when thou doest|strong="H6213" that which is good|strong="H2896" and right|strong="H3477" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430".
29 When the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" shall cut off|strong="H3772" the nations|strong="H1471" from before|strong="H6440" thee, whither thou goest|strong="H0935" to possess|strong="H3423" them, and thou succeedest|strong="H3423" them, and dwellest|strong="H3427" in their land|strong="H0776";
30 Take heed|strong="H8104" to thyself that thou be not snared|strong="H5367" by following|strong="H0310" them, after|strong="H0310" that they be destroyed|strong="H8045" from before|strong="H6440" thee; and that thou enquire|strong="H1875" not after their gods|strong="H0430", saying|strong="H0559", How did these nations|strong="H1471" serve|strong="H5647" their gods|strong="H0430"? even so will I do|strong="H6213" likewise|strong="H1571".
31 Thou shalt not do|strong="H6213" so unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430": for every abomination|strong="H8441" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, which he hateth|strong="H8130", have they done|strong="H6213" unto their gods|strong="H0430"; for even their sons|strong="H1121" and their daughters|strong="H1323" they have burnt|strong="H8313" in the fire|strong="H0784" to their gods|strong="H0430".
32 What thing|strong="H1697" soever I command|strong="H6680" you, observe|strong="H8104" to do|strong="H6213" it: thou shalt not add|strong="H3254" thereto, nor diminish|strong="H1639" from it.
