2 And desired|strong="G0154" of|strong="G3844" him|strong="G0846" letters|strong="G1992" to|strong="G1519" Damascus|strong="G1154" to|strong="G4314" the synagogues|strong="G4864", that|strong="G3704" if|strong="G1437" he found|strong="G2147" any|strong="G5100" of this way|strong="G3598", whether|strong="G5037" they were|strong="G5607" men|strong="G0435" or|strong="G2532" women|strong="G1135", he might bring|strong="G0071" them bound|strong="G1210" unto|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2419".
3 And|strong="G1161" as|strong="G1722" he journeyed|strong="G4198", he|strong="G0846" came|strong="G1096" near|strong="G1448" Damascus|strong="G1154": and|strong="G2532" suddenly|strong="G1810" there shined round about|strong="G4015" him|strong="G0846" a light|strong="G5457" from|strong="G0575" heaven|strong="G3772":

5 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036", Who|strong="G5101" art thou|strong="G1488", Lord|strong="G2962"? And|strong="G1161" the Lord|strong="G2962" said|strong="G2036", \+w I|strong="G1473"\+w* \+w am|strong="G1510"\+w* \+w Jesus|strong="G2424"\+w* \+w whom|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w thou|strong="G4771"\+w* \+w persecutest|strong="G1377"\+w*: \+add it is\+add* \+w hard|strong="G4642"\+w* \+w for thee|strong="G4671"\+w* \+w to kick|strong="G2979"\+w* \+w against|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w the pricks|strong="G2759"\+w*.
6 And|strong="G5037" he trembling|strong="G5141" and|strong="G2532" astonished|strong="G2284" said|strong="G2036", Lord|strong="G2962", what|strong="G5101" wilt thou|strong="G2309" have|strong="G4160" me|strong="G3165" to do|strong="G4160"? And|strong="G2532" the Lord|strong="G2962" said unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846", \+w Arise|strong="G0450"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w go|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the city|strong="G4172"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w it shall be told|strong="G2980"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4671"\+w* \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w thou|strong="G4571"\+w* \+w must|strong="G1163"\+w* \+w do|strong="G4160"\+w*.
7 And|strong="G1161" the men|strong="G0435" which|strong="G3588" journeyed|strong="G4922" with him|strong="G0846" stood|strong="G2476" speechless|strong="G1769", hearing|strong="G0191" a voice|strong="G5456", but|strong="G1161" seeing|strong="G2334" no man|strong="G3367".
8 And|strong="G1161" Saul|strong="G4569" arose|strong="G1453" from|strong="G0575" the earth|strong="G1093"; and when|strong="G1161" his|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788" were opened|strong="G0455", he saw|strong="G0991" no man|strong="G3762": but|strong="G1161" they led|strong="G5496" him|strong="G0846" by the hand|strong="G5496", and brought|strong="G1521" him into|strong="G1519" Damascus|strong="G1154".
9 And|strong="G2532" he was|strong="G2258" three|strong="G5140" days|strong="G2250" without|strong="G3361" sight|strong="G0991", and|strong="G2532" neither|strong="G3756" did eat|strong="G5315" nor|strong="G3761" drink|strong="G4095".
10 And|strong="G1161" there was|strong="G2258" a certain|strong="G5100" disciple|strong="G3101" at|strong="G1722" Damascus|strong="G1154", named|strong="G3686" Ananias|strong="G0367"; and|strong="G2532" to|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846" said|strong="G2036" the Lord|strong="G2962" in|strong="G1722" a vision|strong="G3705", \+w Ananias|strong="G0367"\+w*. And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036", Behold|strong="G2400", I|strong="G1473" am here, Lord|strong="G2962".

13 Then|strong="G1161" Ananias|strong="G0367" answered|strong="G0611", Lord|strong="G2962", I have heard|strong="G0191" by|strong="G0575" many|strong="G4183" of|strong="G4012" this|strong="G5127" man|strong="G0435", how much|strong="G3745" evil|strong="G2556" he hath done|strong="G4160" to thy|strong="G4675" saints|strong="G0040" at|strong="G1722" Jerusalem|strong="G2419":
14 And|strong="G2532" here|strong="G5602" he hath|strong="G2192" authority|strong="G1849" from|strong="G3844" the chief priests|strong="G0749" to bind|strong="G1210" all|strong="G3956" that call on|strong="G1941" thy|strong="G4675" name|strong="G3686".

17 And|strong="G1161" Ananias|strong="G0367" went his way|strong="G0565", and|strong="G2532" entered|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" the house|strong="G3614"; and|strong="G2532" putting his|strong="G2007" hands|strong="G5495" on|strong="G1909" him|strong="G0846" said|strong="G2036", Brother|strong="G0080" Saul|strong="G4549", the Lord|strong="G2962", even Jesus|strong="G2424", that|strong="G3588" appeared|strong="G3700" unto thee|strong="G4671" in|strong="G1722" the way|strong="G3598" as|strong="G3739" thou camest|strong="G2064", hath sent|strong="G0649" me|strong="G3165", that|strong="G3704" thou mightest receive thy sight|strong="G0308", and|strong="G2532" be filled|strong="G4130" with the Holy|strong="G0040" Ghost|strong="G4151".
18 And|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G2112" there fell|strong="G0634" from|strong="G0575" his|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788" as it had been|strong="G5616" scales|strong="G3013": and|strong="G5037" he received sight|strong="G0308" forthwith|strong="G3916", and|strong="G2532" arose|strong="G0450", and was baptized|strong="G0907".
19 And|strong="G2532" when he had received|strong="G2983" meat|strong="G5160", he was strengthened|strong="G1765". Then|strong="G1161" was|strong="G1096" Saul|strong="G4569" certain|strong="G5100" days|strong="G2250" with|strong="G3326" the disciples|strong="G3101" which were|strong="G3588" at|strong="G1722" Damascus|strong="G1154".
20 And|strong="G2532" straightway|strong="G2112" he preached|strong="G2784" Christ|strong="G5547" in|strong="G1722" the synagogues|strong="G4864", that|strong="G3754" he|strong="G3778" is|strong="G2076" the Son|strong="G5207" of God|strong="G2316".
21 But|strong="G1161" all|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3588" heard|strong="G0191" him were amazed|strong="G1839", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004"; Is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756" this|strong="G3778" he that|strong="G3588" destroyed|strong="G4199" them which|strong="G3588" called on|strong="G1941" this|strong="G5124" name|strong="G3686" in|strong="G1722" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", and|strong="G2532" came|strong="G2064" hither|strong="G5602" for|strong="G1519" that intent|strong="G5124", that|strong="G2443" he might bring|strong="G0071" them|strong="G0846" bound|strong="G1210" unto|strong="G1909" the chief priests|strong="G0749"?
22 But|strong="G1161" Saul|strong="G4569" increased|strong="G1743" the more|strong="G3123" in strength|strong="G1743", and|strong="G2532" confounded|strong="G4797" the Jews|strong="G2453" which|strong="G3588" dwelt|strong="G2730" at|strong="G1722" Damascus|strong="G1154", proving|strong="G4822" that|strong="G3754" this|strong="G3778" is|strong="G2076" very|strong="G3588" Christ|strong="G5547".
23 And|strong="G1161" after that|strong="G5613" many|strong="G2425" days|strong="G2250" were fulfilled|strong="G4137", the Jews|strong="G2453" took counsel|strong="G4823" to kill|strong="G0337" him|strong="G0846":
24 But|strong="G1161" their|strong="G0846" laying await|strong="G1917" was known|strong="G1097" of Saul|strong="G4569". And|strong="G5037" they watched|strong="G3906" the gates|strong="G4439" day|strong="G2250" and|strong="G2532" night|strong="G3571" to|strong="G3704" kill|strong="G0337" him|strong="G0846".
25 Then|strong="G1161" the disciples|strong="G3101" took|strong="G2983" him|strong="G0846" by night|strong="G3571", and let|strong="G2524" him down|strong="G5465" by|strong="G1223" the wall|strong="G5038" in|strong="G1722" a basket|strong="G4711".
26 And|strong="G1161" when Saul|strong="G4569" was come|strong="G3854" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", he assayed|strong="G3987" to join himself|strong="G2853" to the disciples|strong="G3101": but|strong="G2532" they were|strong="G5399" all|strong="G3956" afraid|strong="G5399" of him|strong="G0846", and believed|strong="G4100" not|strong="G3361" that|strong="G3754" he was|strong="G2076" a disciple|strong="G3101".
27 But|strong="G1161" Barnabas|strong="G0921" took|strong="G1949" him|strong="G0846", and brought|strong="G0071" him to|strong="G4314" the apostles|strong="G0652", and|strong="G2532" declared|strong="G1334" unto them|strong="G0846" how|strong="G4459" he had seen|strong="G1492" the Lord|strong="G2962" in|strong="G1722" the way|strong="G3598", and|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3754" he had spoken to|strong="G2980" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" how|strong="G4459" he had preached boldly|strong="G3955" at|strong="G1722" Damascus|strong="G1154" in|strong="G1722" the name|strong="G3686" of Jesus|strong="G2424".
28 And|strong="G2532" he was|strong="G2258" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846" coming in|strong="G1531" and|strong="G2532" going out|strong="G1607" at|strong="G1722" Jerusalem|strong="G2419".
29 And|strong="G2532" he spake boldly|strong="G3955" in|strong="G1722" the name|strong="G3686" of the Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424", and|strong="G5037" disputed|strong="G4802" against|strong="G4314" the Grecians|strong="G1675": but|strong="G1161" they went about|strong="G2021" to slay|strong="G0337" him|strong="G0846".
30 Which when|strong="G1161" the brethren|strong="G0080" knew|strong="G1921", they brought|strong="G2609" him|strong="G0846" down|strong="G2609" to|strong="G1519" Cæsarea|strong="G2542", and|strong="G2532" sent|strong="G1821" him|strong="G0846" forth|strong="G1821" to|strong="G1519" Tarsus|strong="G5019".
31 Then|strong="G3767" had|strong="G2192" the churches|strong="G1577" rest|strong="G1515" throughout|strong="G2596" all|strong="G3650" Judæa|strong="G2449" and|strong="G2532" Galilee|strong="G1056" and|strong="G2532" Samaria|strong="G4540", and were edified|strong="G3618"; and|strong="G2532" walking|strong="G4198" in the fear|strong="G5401" of the Lord|strong="G2962", and|strong="G2532" in the comfort|strong="G3874" of the Holy|strong="G0040" Ghost|strong="G4151", were multiplied|strong="G4129".
32 And|strong="G1161" it came to pass|strong="G1096", as Peter|strong="G4074" passed|strong="G1330" throughout|strong="G1223" all|strong="G3956" quarters, he came down|strong="G2718" also|strong="G2532" to|strong="G4314" the saints|strong="G0040" which|strong="G3588" dwelt|strong="G2730" at Lydda|strong="G3069".
33 And|strong="G1161" there|strong="G1563" he found|strong="G2147" a certain|strong="G5100" man|strong="G0444" named|strong="G3686" Æneas|strong="G0132", which|strong="G3739" had kept his|strong="G2621" bed|strong="G2895" eight|strong="G3638" years|strong="G2094", and was|strong="G2258" sick of the palsy|strong="G3886".
34 And|strong="G2532" Peter|strong="G4074" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Æneas|strong="G0132", Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547" maketh|strong="G2390" thee|strong="G4571" whole|strong="G2390": arise|strong="G0450", and|strong="G2532" make|strong="G4766" thy|strong="G4572" bed|strong="G4766". And|strong="G2532" he arose|strong="G0450" immediately|strong="G2112".
35 And|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3748" dwelt|strong="G2730" at Lydda|strong="G3069" and|strong="G2532" Saron|strong="G4565" saw|strong="G1492" him|strong="G0846", and turned|strong="G1994" to|strong="G1909" the Lord|strong="G2962".
36 Now|strong="G1161" there was|strong="G2258" at|strong="G1722" Joppa|strong="G2445" a certain|strong="G5100" disciple|strong="G3102" named|strong="G3686" Tabitha|strong="G5000", which|strong="G3739" by interpretation|strong="G1329" is called|strong="G3004" Dorcas|strong="G1393": this|strong="G3778" woman|strong="G0846" was|strong="G2258" full|strong="G4134" of good|strong="G0018" works|strong="G2041" and|strong="G2532" almsdeeds|strong="G1654" which|strong="G3739" she did|strong="G4160".
37 And|strong="G1161" it came to pass|strong="G1096" in|strong="G1722" those|strong="G1565" days|strong="G2250", that she|strong="G0846" was sick|strong="G0770", and died|strong="G0599": whom|strong="G1161" when they had washed|strong="G3068", they laid|strong="G5087" \+w her|strong="G0846"\+w* in|strong="G1722" an upper chamber|strong="G5253".
38 And|strong="G1161" forasmuch as|strong="G5607" Lydda|strong="G3069" was nigh|strong="G1451" to Joppa|strong="G2445", and|strong="G0191" the disciples|strong="G3101" had heard|strong="G0191" that|strong="G3754" Peter|strong="G4074" was|strong="G2076" there|strong="G0846", they sent|strong="G0649" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846" two|strong="G1417" men|strong="G0435", desiring|strong="G3870" him that|strong="G3870" he would|strong="G3635" not|strong="G3361" delay|strong="G3635" to come|strong="G1330" to|strong="G2193" them|strong="G0846".
39 Then|strong="G1161" Peter|strong="G4074" arose|strong="G0450" and went|strong="G4905" with them|strong="G0846". 42 And|strong="G1161" it was|strong="G1096" known|strong="G1110" throughout|strong="G2596" all|strong="G3650" Joppa|strong="G2445"; and|strong="G2532" many|strong="G4183" believed|strong="G4100" in|strong="G1909" the Lord|strong="G2962".
43 And|strong="G1161" it came to pass|strong="G1096", that he|strong="G0846" tarried|strong="G3306" many|strong="G2425" days|strong="G2250" in|strong="G1722" Joppa|strong="G2445" with|strong="G3844" one|strong="G5100" Simon|strong="G4613" a tanner|strong="G1038".
