1 In the second|strong="H8147" year|strong="H8141" of Darius|strong="H1867" the king|strong="H4428", in the sixth|strong="H8345" month|strong="H2320", in the first|strong="H0259" day|strong="H3117" of the month|strong="H2320", came the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* by|strong="H3027" Haggai|strong="H2292" the prophet|strong="H5030" unto Zerubbabel|strong="H2216" the son|strong="H1121" of Shealtiel|strong="H7597", governor|strong="H6346" of Judah|strong="H3063", and to Joshua|strong="H3091" the son|strong="H1121" of Josedech|strong="H3087", the high|strong="H1419" priest|strong="H3548", saying|strong="H0559",
1 No segundo ano do reinado de Dario, no primeiro dia do sexto mês, a palavra do Senhor foi dirigida pelo profeta Ageu ao governador de Judá, Zorobabel, filho de Salatiel, e ao sumo sacerdote Josué, filho de Josedec, nestes termos:
2 Thus speaketh|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", saying|strong="H0559", This people|strong="H5971" say|strong="H0559", The time|strong="H6256" is not come|strong="H0935", the time|strong="H6256" that the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* house|strong="H1004" should be built|strong="H1129".
2 Eis o que diz o Senhor dos exércitos: este povo diz: não é ainda chegado o momento de reconstruir a casa do Senhor.
3 Then came the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* by|strong="H3027" Haggai|strong="H2292" the prophet|strong="H5030", saying|strong="H0559",
3 E a palavra do Senhor foi transmitida pelo profeta Ageu:
4 Is it time|strong="H6256" for you, O ye, to dwell|strong="H3427" in your cieled|strong="H5603" houses|strong="H1004", and this house|strong="H1004" lie waste|strong="H2720"?
4 É então o momento de habitardes em casas confortáveis, estando esta casa em ruínas? Eis o que declara o Senhor dos exércitos:
5 Now therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; Consider|strong="H7760" your ways|strong="H1870".
5 considerai o que fazeis!
6 Ye have sown|strong="H2232" much|strong="H7235", and bring|strong="H0935" in little|strong="H4592"; ye eat|strong="H0398", but ye have not enough|strong="H7654"; ye drink|strong="H8354", but ye are not filled with drink|strong="H7937"; ye clothe|strong="H3847" you, but there is none warm|strong="H2527"; and he that earneth wages|strong="H7936" earneth wages|strong="H7936" to put it into a bag|strong="H6872" with holes|strong="H5344".
6 Semeais muito e recolheis pouco; comeis e não vos saciais; bebeis e não chegais a apagar a vossa sede; vestis, mas não vos aqueceis; e o operário guarda o seu salário em saco roto!
7 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; Consider|strong="H7760" your ways|strong="H1870".
7 Assim fala o Senhor dos exércitos: refleti no que fazeis!
8 Go up|strong="H5927" to the mountain|strong="H2022", and bring|strong="H0935" wood|strong="H6086", and build|strong="H1129" the house|strong="H1004"; and I will take pleasure|strong="H7521" in it, and I will be glorified|strong="H3513", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
8 Subi a montanha, trazei madeira e reconstruí a minha casa; ela me será agradável e nela serei glorificado, - oráculo do Senhor.
9 Ye looked|strong="H6437" for much|strong="H7235", and, lo, it came to little|strong="H4592"; and when ye brought|strong="H0935" it home|strong="H1004", I did blow|strong="H5301" upon it. Why? saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635". Because|strong="H3282" of mine house|strong="H1004" that is waste|strong="H2720", and ye run|strong="H7323" every man|strong="H0376" unto his own house|strong="H1004".
9 Esperastes uma abundante colheita e esta foi magra; dissipei com um sopro o que queríeis armazenar. Por quê? - oráculo do Senhor. Porque minha casa está em ruínas, enquanto cada um de vós só tem cuidado da sua.
10 Therefore the heaven|strong="H8064" over you is stayed|strong="H3607" from dew|strong="H2919", and the earth|strong="H0776" is stayed|strong="H3607" from her fruit|strong="H2981".
10 Por isso o céu negou o seu orvalho e a terra, os seus frutos.
11 And I called|strong="H7121" for a drought|strong="H2721" upon the land|strong="H0776", and upon the mountains|strong="H2022", and upon the corn|strong="H1715", and upon the new wine|strong="H8492", and upon the oil|strong="H3323", and upon that which the ground|strong="H0127" bringeth forth|strong="H3318", and upon men|strong="H0120", and upon cattle|strong="H0929", and upon all the labour|strong="H3018" of the hands|strong="H3709".
11 Sequei terras e colinas, trigo, mosto e óleo, todo o fruto da terra, homens e animais, tudo o que produz o trabalho de vossas mãos.
12 Then Zerubbabel|strong="H2216" the son|strong="H1121" of Shealtiel|strong="H7597", and Joshua|strong="H3091" the son|strong="H1121" of Josedech|strong="H3087", the high|strong="H1419" priest|strong="H3548", with all the remnant|strong="H7611" of the people|strong="H5971", obeyed|strong="H8085" the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* their God|strong="H0430", and the words|strong="H1697" of Haggai|strong="H2292" the prophet|strong="H5030", as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* their God|strong="H0430" had sent|strong="H7971" him, and the people|strong="H5971" did fear|strong="H3372" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
12 Zorobabel, filho de Salatiel, com o sumo sacerdote Josué, filho de Josedec, e todo o resto do povo, ouviram a voz do Senhor seu Deus, e as palavras que lhes dirigiu o profeta Ageu da parte do Senhor. E todo o povo temeu o Senhor.
13 Then spake|strong="H0559" Haggai|strong="H2292" the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* messenger|strong="H4397" in the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* message|strong="H4400" unto the people|strong="H5971", saying|strong="H0559", I am with you, saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
13 Ageu, enviado do Senhor, falou ao povo segundo o mandato que ele tinha recebido do Senhor: Estou convosco - oráculo do Senhor.
14 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* stirred up|strong="H5782" the spirit|strong="H7307" of Zerubbabel|strong="H2216" the son|strong="H1121" of Shealtiel|strong="H7597", governor|strong="H6346" of Judah|strong="H3063", and the spirit|strong="H7307" of Joshua|strong="H3091" the son|strong="H1121" of Josedech|strong="H3087", the high|strong="H1419" priest|strong="H3548", and the spirit|strong="H7307" of all the remnant|strong="H7611" of the people|strong="H5971"; and they came|strong="H0935" and did|strong="H6213" work|strong="H4399" in the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", their God|strong="H0430",
14 Então o Senhor inspirou coragem a Zorobabel, filho de Salatiel, governador de Judá, e ao sumo sacerdote Josué, filho de Josedec, bem como a todo o resto do povo: todos puseram-se a trabalhar na construção da casa do Senhor dos exércitos, seu Deus,
15 In the four|strong="H0702" and twentieth|strong="H6242" day|strong="H3117" of the sixth|strong="H8345" month|strong="H2320", in the second|strong="H8147" year|strong="H8141" of Darius|strong="H1867" the king|strong="H4428".
