1 And it came to pass, when the king|strong="H4428" sat|strong="H3427" in his house|strong="H1004", and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had given him rest|strong="H5117" round about|strong="H5439" from all his enemies|strong="H0341";
1 Sucedeu que, habitando o rei Davi em sua própria casa, tendo-lhe o Senhor dado descanso de todos os seus inimigos em redor,
2 That the king|strong="H4428" said|strong="H0559" unto Nathan|strong="H5416" the prophet|strong="H5030", See|strong="H7200" now, I dwell|strong="H3427" in an house|strong="H1004" of cedar|strong="H0730", but the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430" dwelleth|strong="H3427" within|strong="H8432" curtains|strong="H3407".
2 disse o rei ao profeta Natã: Olha, eu moro em casa de cedros, e a arca de Deus se acha numa tenda.
3 And Nathan|strong="H5416" said|strong="H0559" to the king|strong="H4428", Go|strong="H3212", do|strong="H6213" all that is in thine heart|strong="H3824"; for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is with thee.
3 Disse Natã ao rei: Vai, faze tudo quanto está no teu coração, porque o Senhor é contigo.
4 And it came to pass that night|strong="H3915", that the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto Nathan|strong="H5416", saying|strong="H0559",
4 Porém, naquela mesma noite, veio a palavra do Senhor a Natã, dizendo:
5 Go|strong="H3212" and tell|strong="H0559" my servant|strong="H5650" David|strong="H1732", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, Shalt thou build|strong="H1129" me an house|strong="H1004" for me to dwell in|strong="H3427"?
5 Vai e dize a meu servo Davi: Assim diz o Senhor : Edificar-me-ás tu casa para minha habitação?
6 Whereas I have not dwelt|strong="H3427" in any house|strong="H1004" since the time|strong="H3117" that I brought up|strong="H5927" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" out of Egypt|strong="H4714", even to this day|strong="H3117", but have walked|strong="H1980" in a tent|strong="H0168" and in a tabernacle|strong="H4908".
6 Porque em casa nenhuma habitei desde o dia em que fiz subir os filhos de Israel do Egito até ao dia de hoje; mas tenho andado em tenda, em tabernáculo.
7 In all the places wherein I have walked|strong="H1980" with all the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" spake|strong="H1696" I a word|strong="H1697" with any|strong="H0259" of the tribes|strong="H7626" of Israel|strong="H3478", whom I commanded|strong="H6680" to feed|strong="H7462" my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478", saying|strong="H0559", Why build|strong="H1129" ye not me an house|strong="H1004" of cedar|strong="H0730"?
7 Em todo lugar em que andei com todos os filhos de Israel, falei, acaso, alguma palavra com qualquer das suas tribos, a quem mandei apascentar o meu povo de Israel, dizendo: Por que não me edificais uma casa de cedro?
8 Now therefore so shalt thou say|strong="H0559" unto my servant|strong="H5650" David|strong="H1732", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", I took|strong="H3947" thee from the sheepcote|strong="H5116", from following|strong="H0310" the sheep|strong="H6629", to be ruler|strong="H5057" over my people|strong="H5971", over Israel|strong="H3478":
8 Agora, pois, assim dirás ao meu servo Davi: Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Tomei-te da malhada, de detrás das ovelhas, para que fosses príncipe sobre o meu povo, sobre Israel.
9 And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest|strong="H1980", and have cut off|strong="H3772" all thine enemies|strong="H0341" out of thy sight|strong="H6440", and have made|strong="H6213" thee a great|strong="H1419" name|strong="H8034", like unto the name|strong="H8034" of the great|strong="H1419" men that are in the earth|strong="H0776".
9 E fui contigo, por onde quer que andaste, eliminei os teus inimigos diante de ti e fiz grande o teu nome, como só os grandes têm na terra.
10 Moreover I will appoint|strong="H7760" a place|strong="H4725" for my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478", and will plant|strong="H5193" them, that they may dwell|strong="H7931" in a place of their own, and move|strong="H7264" no more; neither shall the children|strong="H1121" of wickedness|strong="H5766" afflict|strong="H6031" them any more|strong="H3254", as beforetime|strong="H7223",
10 Prepararei lugar para o meu povo, para Israel, e o plantarei, para que habite no seu lugar e não mais seja perturbado, e jamais os filhos da perversidade o aflijam, como dantes,
11 And as since the time|strong="H3117" that I commanded|strong="H6680" judges|strong="H8199" to be over my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478", and have caused thee to rest|strong="H5117" from all thine enemies|strong="H0341". Also the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* telleth|strong="H5046" thee that he will make|strong="H6213" thee an house|strong="H1004".
11 desde o dia em que mandei houvesse juízes sobre o meu povo de Israel. Dar-te-ei, porém, descanso de todos os teus inimigos; também o Senhor te faz saber que ele, o Senhor , te fará casa.
12 And when thy days|strong="H3117" be fulfilled|strong="H4390", and thou shalt sleep|strong="H7901" with thy fathers|strong="H0001", I will set up|strong="H6965" thy seed|strong="H2233" after|strong="H0310" thee, which shall proceed|strong="H3318" out of thy bowels|strong="H4578", and I will establish|strong="H3559" his kingdom|strong="H4467".
12 Quando teus dias se cumprirem e descansares com teus pais, então, farei levantar depois de ti o teu descendente, que procederá de ti, e estabelecerei o seu reino.
13 He shall build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" for my name|strong="H8034", and I will stablish|strong="H3559" the throne|strong="H3678" of his kingdom|strong="H4467" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
13 Este edificará uma casa ao meu nome, e eu estabelecerei para sempre o trono do seu reino.
14 I will be his father|strong="H0001", and he shall be my son|strong="H1121". If he commit iniquity|strong="H5753", I will chasten|strong="H3198" him with the rod|strong="H7626" of men|strong="H0582", and with the stripes|strong="H5061" of the children|strong="H1121" of men|strong="H0120":
14 Eu lhe serei por pai, e ele me será por filho; se vier a transgredir, castigá-lo-ei com varas de homens e com açoites de filhos de homens.
15 But my mercy|strong="H2617" shall not depart away|strong="H5493" from him, as I took|strong="H5493" it from Saul|strong="H7586", whom I put away|strong="H5493" before|strong="H6440" thee.
15 Mas a minha misericórdia se não apartará dele, como a retirei de Saul, a quem tirei de diante de ti.
16 And thine house|strong="H1004" and thy kingdom|strong="H4467" shall be established|strong="H0539" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769" before|strong="H6440" thee: thy throne|strong="H3678" shall be established|strong="H3559" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
16 Porém a tua casa e o teu reino serão firmados para sempre diante de ti; teu trono será estabelecido para sempre.
17 According to all these words|strong="H1697", and according to all this vision|strong="H2384", so did Nathan|strong="H5416" speak|strong="H1696" unto David|strong="H1732".
17 Segundo todas estas palavras e conforme toda esta visão, assim falou Natã a Davi.
18 Then went|strong="H0935" king|strong="H4428" David|strong="H1732" in, and sat|strong="H3427" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and he said|strong="H0559", Who am I, O Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*? and what is my house|strong="H1004", that thou hast brought|strong="H0935" me hitherto|strong="H1988"?
18 Então, entrou o rei Davi na Casa do Senhor , ficou perante ele e disse: Quem sou eu, Senhor Deus, e qual é a minha casa, para que me tenhas trazido até aqui?
19 And this was yet a small thing|strong="H6994" in thy sight|strong="H5869", O Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; but thou hast spoken|strong="H1696" also of thy servant’s|strong="H5650" house|strong="H1004" for a great while to come|strong="H7350". And is this the manner|strong="H8452" of man|strong="H0120", O Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*?
19 Foi isso ainda pouco aos teus olhos, Senhor Deus, de maneira que também falaste a respeito da casa de teu servo para tempos distantes; e isto é instrução para todos os homens, ó Senhor Deus.
20 And what can|strong="H3254" David|strong="H1732" say|strong="H1696" more|strong="H3254" unto thee? for thou, Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, knowest|strong="H3045" thy servant|strong="H5650".
20 Que mais ainda te poderá dizer Davi? Pois tu conheces bem a teu servo, ó Senhor Deus.
21 For thy word’s|strong="H1697" sake, and according to thine own heart|strong="H3820", hast thou done|strong="H6213" all these great things|strong="H1420", to make thy servant|strong="H5650" know|strong="H3045" them.
21 Por causa da tua palavra e segundo o teu coração, fizeste toda esta grandeza, dando-a a conhecer a teu servo.
22 Wherefore thou art great|strong="H1431", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430": for there is none like thee, neither is there any God|strong="H0430" beside|strong="H2108" thee, according to all that we have heard|strong="H8085" with our ears|strong="H0241".
22 Portanto, grandíssimo és, ó Senhor Deus, porque não há semelhante a ti, e não há outro Deus além de ti, segundo tudo o que nós mesmos temos ouvido.
23 And what one|strong="H0259" nation|strong="H1471" in the earth|strong="H0776" is like thy people|strong="H5971", even like Israel|strong="H3478", whom God|strong="H0430" went|strong="H1980" to redeem|strong="H6299" for a people|strong="H5971" to himself, and to make|strong="H7760" him a name|strong="H8034", and to do|strong="H6213" for you great things|strong="H1420" and terrible|strong="H3372", for thy land|strong="H0776", before|strong="H6440" thy people|strong="H5971", which thou redeemedst|strong="H6299" to thee from Egypt|strong="H4714", from the nations|strong="H1471" and their gods|strong="H0430"?
23 Quem há como o teu povo, como Israel, gente única na terra, a quem tu, ó Deus, foste resgatar para ser teu povo? E para fazer a ti mesmo um nome e fazer a teu povo estas grandes e tremendas coisas, para a tua terra, diante do teu povo, que tu resgataste do Egito, desterrando as nações e seus deuses?
24 For thou hast confirmed|strong="H3559" to thyself thy people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478" to be a people|strong="H5971" unto thee for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769": and thou, \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, art become|strong="H1961" their God|strong="H0430".
24 Estabeleceste teu povo Israel por teu povo para sempre e tu, ó Senhor , te fizeste o seu Deus.
25 And now, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430", the word|strong="H1697" that thou hast spoken|strong="H1696" concerning thy servant|strong="H5650", and concerning his house|strong="H1004", establish|strong="H6965" it for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769", and do|strong="H6213" as thou hast said|strong="H1696".
25 Agora, pois, ó Senhor Deus, quanto a esta palavra que disseste acerca de teu servo e acerca da sua casa, confirma-a para sempre e faze como falaste.
26 And let thy name|strong="H8034" be magnified|strong="H1431" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769", saying|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" is the God|strong="H0430" over Israel|strong="H3478": and let the house|strong="H1004" of thy servant|strong="H5650" David|strong="H1732" be established|strong="H3559" before|strong="H6440" thee.
26 Seja para sempre engrandecido o teu nome, e diga-se: O Senhor dos Exércitos é Deus sobre Israel; e a casa de Davi, teu servo, será estabelecida diante de ti.
27 For thou, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478", hast revealed|strong="H1540" to thy servant|strong="H5650", saying|strong="H0559", I will build|strong="H1129" thee an house|strong="H1004": therefore hath thy servant|strong="H5650" found|strong="H4672" in his heart|strong="H3820" to pray|strong="H6419" this prayer|strong="H8605" unto thee.
27 Pois tu, ó Senhor dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel, fizeste ao teu servo esta revelação, dizendo: Edificar-te-ei casa. Por isso, o teu servo se animou para fazer-te esta oração.
28 And now, O Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, thou art that God|strong="H0430", and thy words|strong="H1697" be true|strong="H0571", and thou hast promised|strong="H1696" this goodness|strong="H2896" unto thy servant|strong="H5650":
28 Agora, pois, ó Senhor Deus, tu mesmo és Deus, e as tuas palavras são verdade, e tens prometido a teu servo este bem.
29 Therefore now let it please|strong="H2974" thee to bless|strong="H1288" the house|strong="H1004" of thy servant|strong="H5650", that it may continue for ever|strong="H5769" before|strong="H6440" thee: for thou, O Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, hast spoken|strong="H1696" it: and with thy blessing|strong="H1293" let the house|strong="H1004" of thy servant|strong="H5650" be blessed|strong="H1288" for ever|strong="H5769".
29 Sê, pois, agora, servido de abençoar a casa do teu servo, a fim de permanecer para sempre diante de ti, pois tu, ó Senhor Deus, o disseste; e, com a tua bênção, será, para sempre, bendita a casa do teu servo.
