Again, David|strong="H1732" gathered together|strong="H0622" all the chosen|strong="H0977" men of Israel|strong="H3478", thirty|strong="H7970" thousand|strong="H0505".
And David|strong="H1732" arose|strong="H6965", and went|strong="H3212" with all the people|strong="H5971" that were with him from Baale of Judah|strong="H1184", to bring up|strong="H5927" from thence the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430", whose name|strong="H8034" is called|strong="H7121" by the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" that dwelleth|strong="H3427" between the cherubims|strong="H3742".
And they set|strong="H7392" the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430" upon a new|strong="H2319" cart|strong="H5699", and brought|strong="H5375" it out of the house|strong="H1004" of Abinadab|strong="H0041" that was in Gibeah|strong="H1390": and Uzzah|strong="H5798" and Ahio|strong="H0283", the sons|strong="H1121" of Abinadab|strong="H0041", drave|strong="H5090" the new|strong="H2319" cart|strong="H5699".
And they brought|strong="H5375" it out of the house|strong="H1004" of Abinadab|strong="H0041" which was at Gibeah|strong="H1390", accompanying|strong="H5973" the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430": and Ahio|strong="H0283" went|strong="H1980" before|strong="H6440" the ark|strong="H0727".
And David|strong="H1732" and all the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" played|strong="H7832" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* on all manner of instruments made of fir|strong="H1265" wood|strong="H6086", even on harps|strong="H3658", and on psalteries|strong="H5035", and on timbrels|strong="H8596", and on cornets|strong="H4517", and on cymbals|strong="H6767".
And when they came|strong="H0935" to Nachon’s|strong="H5225" threshingfloor|strong="H1637", Uzzah|strong="H5798" put forth|strong="H7971" his hand to the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430", and took hold|strong="H0270" of it; for the oxen|strong="H1241" shook|strong="H8058" it.
And the anger|strong="H0639" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* was kindled|strong="H2734" against Uzzah|strong="H5798"; and God|strong="H0430" smote|strong="H5221" him there for his error|strong="H7944"; and there he died|strong="H4191" by the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430".
And David|strong="H1732" was displeased|strong="H2734", because the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had made|strong="H6555" a breach|strong="H6556" upon Uzzah|strong="H5798": and he called|strong="H7121" the name of the place|strong="H4725" Perez-uzzah|strong="H6560" to this day|strong="H3117".
And David|strong="H1732" was afraid|strong="H3372" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* that day|strong="H3117", and said|strong="H0559", How shall the ark|strong="H0727" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* come|strong="H0935" to me?
So David|strong="H1732" would|strong="H0014" not remove|strong="H5493" the ark|strong="H0727" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* unto him into the city|strong="H5892" of David|strong="H1732": but David|strong="H1732" carried it aside|strong="H5186" into the house|strong="H1004" of Obed-edom|strong="H5654" the Gittite|strong="H1663".
And the ark|strong="H0727" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* continued|strong="H3427" in the house|strong="H1004" of Obed-edom|strong="H5654" the Gittite|strong="H1663" three|strong="H7969" months|strong="H2320": and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* blessed|strong="H1288" Obed-edom|strong="H5654", and all his household|strong="H1004".
And it was told|strong="H5046" king|strong="H4428" David|strong="H1732", saying|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath blessed|strong="H1288" the house|strong="H1004" of Obed-edom|strong="H5654", and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430". So David|strong="H1732" went|strong="H3212" and brought up|strong="H5927" the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430" from the house|strong="H1004" of Obed-edom|strong="H5654" into the city|strong="H5892" of David|strong="H1732" with gladness|strong="H8057".
And it was so, that when they that bare|strong="H5375" the ark|strong="H0727" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had gone|strong="H6805" six|strong="H8337" paces|strong="H6806", he sacrificed|strong="H2076" oxen|strong="H7794" and fatlings|strong="H4806".
And David|strong="H1732" danced|strong="H3769" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* with all his might|strong="H5797"; and David|strong="H1732" was girded|strong="H2296" with a linen|strong="H0906" ephod|strong="H0646".
So David|strong="H1732" and all the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" brought up|strong="H5927" the ark|strong="H0727" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* with shouting|strong="H8643", and with the sound|strong="H6963" of the trumpet|strong="H7782".
And as the ark|strong="H0727" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came|strong="H0935" into the city|strong="H5892" of David|strong="H1732", Michal|strong="H4324" Saul’s|strong="H7586" daughter|strong="H1323" looked|strong="H8259" through a window|strong="H2474", and saw|strong="H7200" king|strong="H4428" David|strong="H1732" leaping|strong="H6339" and dancing|strong="H3769" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and she despised|strong="H0959" him in her heart|strong="H3820".
And they brought|strong="H0935" in the ark|strong="H0727" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and set|strong="H3322" it in his place|strong="H4725", in the midst|strong="H8432" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" that David|strong="H1732" had pitched|strong="H5186" for it: and David|strong="H1732" offered|strong="H5927" burnt offerings|strong="H5930" and peace offerings|strong="H8002" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And as soon as David|strong="H1732" had made an end|strong="H3615" of offering|strong="H5927" burnt offerings|strong="H5930" and peace offerings|strong="H8002", he blessed|strong="H1288" the people|strong="H5971" in the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
And he dealt|strong="H2505" among all the people|strong="H5971", even among the whole multitude|strong="H1995" of Israel|strong="H3478", as well to the women|strong="H0802" as men|strong="H0376", to every one|strong="H0376" a|strong="H0259" cake|strong="H2471" of bread|strong="H3899", and a good piece|strong="H0829" of flesh, and a flagon|strong="H0809" of wine. So all the people|strong="H5971" departed|strong="H3212" every one|strong="H0376" to his house|strong="H1004".
Then David|strong="H1732" returned|strong="H7725" to bless|strong="H1288" his household|strong="H1004". And Michal|strong="H4324" the daughter|strong="H1323" of Saul|strong="H7586" came out|strong="H3318" to meet|strong="H7125" David|strong="H1732", and said|strong="H0559", How glorious|strong="H3513" was the king|strong="H4428" of Israel|strong="H3478" to day|strong="H3117", who uncovered|strong="H1540" himself to day|strong="H3117" in the eyes|strong="H5869" of the handmaids|strong="H0519" of his servants|strong="H5650", as one|strong="H0259" of the vain fellows|strong="H7386" shamelessly|strong="H1540" uncovereth|strong="H1540" himself!
And David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559" unto Michal|strong="H4324", It was before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, which chose|strong="H0977" me before thy father|strong="H0001", and before all his house|strong="H1004", to appoint|strong="H6680" me ruler|strong="H5057" over the people|strong="H5971" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, over Israel|strong="H3478": therefore will I play|strong="H7832" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And I will yet be more vile|strong="H7043" than thus|strong="H2063", and will be base|strong="H8217" in mine own sight|strong="H5869": and of the maidservants|strong="H0519" which thou hast spoken|strong="H0559" of, of them shall I be had in honour|strong="H3513".
Therefore Michal|strong="H4324" the daughter|strong="H1323" of Saul|strong="H7586" had no child|strong="H2056" unto the day|strong="H3117" of her death|strong="H4194".
