8 For|strong="G1063" if|strong="G5225" these things|strong="G5023" be|strong="G5225" in you|strong="G5213", and|strong="G2532" abound|strong="G4121", they make|strong="G2525" you that ye shall neither|strong="G3756" be barren|strong="G0692" nor|strong="G3761" unfruitful|strong="G0175" in|strong="G1519" the knowledge|strong="G1922" of|strong="G2962" our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547".

10 Wherefore|strong="G1352" the rather|strong="G3123", brethren|strong="G0080", give diligence|strong="G4704" to make|strong="G4160" your|strong="G5216" calling|strong="G2821" and|strong="G2532" election|strong="G1589" sure|strong="G0949": for|strong="G1063" if ye do|strong="G4160" these things|strong="G5023", ye shall|strong="G4417" never|strong="G3756" fall|strong="G4417":
11 For|strong="G1063" so|strong="G3779" an entrance|strong="G1529" shall be ministered|strong="G2023" unto you|strong="G5213" abundantly|strong="G4146" into|strong="G1519" the everlasting|strong="G0166" kingdom|strong="G0932" of|strong="G2962" our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" and|strong="G2532" Saviour|strong="G4990" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547".
12 Wherefore|strong="G1352" I will|strong="G0272" not|strong="G3756" be negligent|strong="G0272" to put|strong="G5279" you|strong="G5209" always|strong="G0104" in remembrance|strong="G5279" of|strong="G4012" these things|strong="G5130", though|strong="G2539" ye know|strong="G1492" them, and|strong="G2532" be established|strong="G4741" in|strong="G1722" the present|strong="G3918" truth|strong="G0225".
13 Yea|strong="G1161", I think it|strong="G2233" meet|strong="G1342", as long as|strong="G3745" I am|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1722" this|strong="G5129" tabernacle|strong="G4638", to stir|strong="G1326" you|strong="G5209" up|strong="G1326" by putting|strong="G5280" you in|strong="G1722" remembrance|strong="G5280";
14 Knowing|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" shortly|strong="G5031" I must put off|strong="G0595" this my|strong="G3450" tabernacle|strong="G4638", even|strong="G2532" as|strong="G2531" our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547" hath shewed|strong="G1213" me|strong="G3427".
15 Moreover|strong="G1161" I will endeavour that|strong="G4704" ye|strong="G5209" may be able|strong="G4160" after|strong="G3326" my|strong="G1699" decease|strong="G1841" to have|strong="G2192" these things|strong="G5130" always|strong="G1539" in remembrance|strong="G3420".
16 For|strong="G1063" we have|strong="G1811" not|strong="G3756" followed|strong="G1811" cunningly devised|strong="G4679" fables|strong="G3454", when we made known|strong="G1107" unto you|strong="G5213" the power|strong="G1411" and|strong="G2532" coming|strong="G3952" of|strong="G2962" our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547", but|strong="G0235" were|strong="G1096" eyewitnesses|strong="G2030" of|strong="G3168" his|strong="G1565" majesty|strong="G3168".
17 For|strong="G1063" he received|strong="G2983" from|strong="G3844" God|strong="G2316" the Father|strong="G3962" honour|strong="G5092" and|strong="G2532" glory|strong="G1391", when there came|strong="G5342" such|strong="G5107" a voice|strong="G5456" to him|strong="G0846" from|strong="G5259" the|strong="G1391" excellent|strong="G3169" glory|strong="G1391", This|strong="G3778" is|strong="G2076" my|strong="G3450" beloved|strong="G0027" Son|strong="G5207", in|strong="G1519" whom|strong="G3739" I|strong="G1473" am well pleased|strong="G2106".

21 For|strong="G1063" the prophecy|strong="G4394" came|strong="G5342" not|strong="G3756" in old time|strong="G4218" by the will|strong="G2307" of man|strong="G0444": but|strong="G0235" holy|strong="G0040" men|strong="G0444" of|strong="G5259" God|strong="G2316" spake|strong="G2980" as they were moved|strong="G5342" by the|strong="G4151" Holy|strong="G0040" Ghost|strong="G4151".
