1 David|strong="H1732" therefore departed|strong="H3212" thence, and escaped|strong="H4422" to the cave|strong="H4631" Adullam|strong="H5725": and when his brethren|strong="H0251" and all his father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004" heard|strong="H8085" it, they went down|strong="H3381" thither to him.
1 Depois Davi, retirando-se desse lugar, escapou para a caverna de Adulão. Quando os seus irmãos e toda a casa de seu pai souberam disso, desceram ali para ter com ele.
2 And every one|strong="H0376" that was in distress|strong="H4689", and every one|strong="H0376" that was in debt|strong="H5378", and every one|strong="H0376" that was discontented|strong="H4751", gathered|strong="H6908" themselves unto him; and he became a captain|strong="H8269" over them: and there were with him about four|strong="H0702" hundred|strong="H3967" men|strong="H0376".
2 Ajuntaram-se a ele todos os que se achavam em aperto, todos os endividados, e todos os amargurados de espírito; e ele se fez chefe deles; havia com ele cerca de quatrocentos homens.
3 And David|strong="H1732" went|strong="H3212" thence to Mizpeh|strong="H4708" of Moab|strong="H4124": and he said|strong="H0559" unto the king|strong="H4428" of Moab|strong="H4124", Let my father|strong="H0001" and my mother|strong="H0517", I pray thee, come forth|strong="H3318", and be with you, till I know|strong="H3045" what God|strong="H0430" will do|strong="H6213" for me.
3 Dali passou Davi para Mizpe de Moabe; e disse ao rei de Moabe: Deixa, peço-te, que meu pai e minha mãe fiquem convosco, até que eu saiba o que Deus há de fazer de mim.
4 And he brought|strong="H5148" them before|strong="H6440" the king|strong="H4428" of Moab|strong="H4124": and they dwelt|strong="H3427" with him all the while|strong="H3117" that David|strong="H1732" was in the hold|strong="H4686".
4 E os deixou com o rei de Moabe; e ficaram com ele por todo o tempo que Davi esteve no lugar forte.
5 And the prophet|strong="H5030" Gad|strong="H1410" said|strong="H0559" unto David|strong="H1732", Abide|strong="H3427" not in the hold|strong="H4686"; depart|strong="H3212", and get|strong="H0935" thee into the land|strong="H0776" of Judah|strong="H3063". Then David|strong="H1732" departed|strong="H3212", and came|strong="H0935" into the forest|strong="H3293" of Hareth|strong="H2802".
5 Disse o profeta Gade a Davi: Não fiques no lugar forte; sai, e entra na terra de Judá. Então Davi saiu, e foi para o bosque de Herete.
6 When Saul|strong="H7586" heard|strong="H8085" that David|strong="H1732" was discovered|strong="H3045", and the men|strong="H0582" that were with him, (now Saul|strong="H7586" abode|strong="H3427" in Gibeah|strong="H1390" under a tree|strong="H0815" in Ramah|strong="H7414", having his spear|strong="H2595" in his hand|strong="H3027", and all his servants|strong="H5650" were standing|strong="H5324" about him;)
6 Ora, ouviu Saul que já havia notícias de Davi e dos homens que estavam com ele. Estava Saul em Gibeá, sentado debaixo da tamargueira, sobre o alto, e tinha na mão a sua lança, e todos os seus servos estavam com ele.
7 Then Saul|strong="H7586" said|strong="H0559" unto his servants|strong="H5650" that stood|strong="H5324" about him, Hear now|strong="H8085", ye Benjamites|strong="H1145"; will the son|strong="H1121" of Jesse|strong="H3448" give|strong="H5414" every one of you fields|strong="H7704" and vineyards|strong="H3754", and make|strong="H7760" you all captains|strong="H8269" of thousands|strong="H0505", and captains|strong="H8269" of hundreds|strong="H3967";
7 Então disse Saul a seus servos que estavam com ele: Ouvi, agora, benjamitas! Acaso o filho de Jessé vos dará a todos vós terras e vinhas, e far-vos-á a todos chefes de milhares e chefes de centenas,
8 That all of you have conspired|strong="H7194" against me, and there is none that sheweth|strong="H1540" me that my son|strong="H1121" hath made a league|strong="H3772" with the son|strong="H1121" of Jesse|strong="H3448", and there is none of you that is sorry|strong="H2470" for me, or sheweth|strong="H1540" unto me that my son|strong="H1121" hath stirred up|strong="H6965" my servant|strong="H5650" against me, to lie in wait|strong="H0693", as at this day|strong="H3117"?
8 para que todos vós tenhais conspirado contra mim, e não haja ninguém que me avise de ter meu filho, feito aliança com o filho de Jessé, e não haja ninguém dentre vós que se doa de mim, e me participe o ter meu filho sublevado meu servo contra mim, para me armar ciladas, como se vê neste dia?
9 Then answered|strong="H6030" Doeg|strong="H1673" the Edomite|strong="H0130", which was set|strong="H5324" over the servants|strong="H5650" of Saul|strong="H7586", and said|strong="H0559", I saw|strong="H7200" the son|strong="H1121" of Jesse|strong="H3448" coming|strong="H0935" to Nob|strong="H5011", to Ahimelech|strong="H0288" the son|strong="H1121" of Ahitub|strong="H0285".
9 Então respondeu Doegue, o edomeu, que também estava com os servos de Saul, e disse: Vi o filho de Jessé chegar a Nobe, a Aimeleque, filho de Aitube;
10 And he enquired|strong="H7592" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* for him, and gave|strong="H5414" him victuals|strong="H6720", and gave|strong="H5414" him the sword|strong="H2719" of Goliath|strong="H1555" the Philistine|strong="H6430".
10 o qual consultou por ele ao Senhor, e lhe deu mantimento, e lhe deu também a espada de Golias, o filisteu.
11 Then the king|strong="H4428" sent|strong="H7971" to call|strong="H7121" Ahimelech|strong="H0288" the priest|strong="H3548", the son|strong="H1121" of Ahitub|strong="H0285", and all his father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004", the priests|strong="H3548" that were in Nob|strong="H5011": and they came|strong="H0935" all of them to the king|strong="H4428".
11 Então o rei mandou chamar a Aimeleque, o sacerdote, filho de Aitube, e a toda a casa de seu pai, isto é, aos sacerdotes que estavam em Nobe; e todos eles vierem ao rei.
12 And Saul|strong="H7586" said|strong="H0559", Hear|strong="H8085" now, thou son|strong="H1121" of Ahitub|strong="H0285". And he answered|strong="H0559", Here I am, my lord|strong="H0113".
12 E disse Saul: Ouve, filho de Aitube! E ele lhe disse: Eis-me aqui, senhor meu.
13 And Saul|strong="H7586" said|strong="H0559" unto him, Why have ye conspired|strong="H7194" against me, thou and the son|strong="H1121" of Jesse|strong="H3448", in that thou hast given|strong="H5414" him bread|strong="H3899", and a sword|strong="H2719", and hast enquired|strong="H7592" of God|strong="H0430" for him, that he should rise|strong="H6965" against me, to lie in wait|strong="H0693", as at this day|strong="H3117"?
13 Então lhe perguntou Saul: Por que conspirastes contra mim, tu e o filho de Jessé, pois deste lhe pão e espada, e consultaste por ele a Deus, para que ele se levantasse contra mim a armar-me ciladas, como se vê neste dia?
14 Then Ahimelech|strong="H0288" answered|strong="H6030" the king|strong="H4428", and said|strong="H0559", And who is so faithful|strong="H0539" among all thy servants|strong="H5650" as David|strong="H1732", which is the king’s|strong="H4428" son in law|strong="H2860", and goeth|strong="H5493" at thy bidding|strong="H4928", and is honourable|strong="H3513" in thine house|strong="H1004"?
14 Ao que respondeu Aimeleque ao rei dizendo: Quem há, entre todos os teus servos, tão fiel como Davi, o genro do rei, chefe da tua guarda, e honrado na tua casa?
15 Did I then|strong="H3117" begin|strong="H2490" to enquire|strong="H7592" of God|strong="H0430" for him? be it far from me|strong="H2486": let not the king|strong="H4428" impute|strong="H7760" any thing|strong="H1697" unto his servant|strong="H5650", nor to all the house|strong="H1004" of my father|strong="H0001": for thy servant|strong="H5650" knew|strong="H3045" nothing|strong="H1697" of all this, less|strong="H6996" or more|strong="H1419".
15 Porventura é de hoje que comecei a consultar por ele a Deus? Longe de mim tal coisa! Não impute o rei coisa nenhuma a mim seu servo, nem a toda a casa de meu pai, pois o teu servo não soube nada de tudo isso, nem muito nem pouco.
16 And the king|strong="H4428" said|strong="H0559", Thou shalt surely|strong="H4191" die|strong="H4191", Ahimelech|strong="H0288", thou, and all thy father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004".
16 O rei, porém, disse: Hás de morrer, Aimeleque, tu e toda a casa de teu pai.
17 And the king|strong="H4428" said|strong="H0559" unto the footmen|strong="H7323" that stood|strong="H5324" about him, Turn|strong="H5437", and slay|strong="H4191" the priests|strong="H3548" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; because their hand|strong="H3027" also is with David|strong="H1732", and because they knew|strong="H3045" when he fled|strong="H1272", and did not shew|strong="H1540" it to me. But the servants|strong="H5650" of the king|strong="H4428" would|strong="H0014" not put forth|strong="H7971" their hand|strong="H3027" to fall|strong="H6293" upon the priests|strong="H3548" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
17 E disse o rei aos da sua guarda que estavam com ele: Virai-vos, e matai os sacerdotes do Senhor, porque também a mão deles está com Davi, e porque sabiam que ele fugia e não mo fizeram saber. Mas os servos do rei não quiseram estender as suas mãos para arremeter contra os sacerdotes do Senhor.
18 And the king|strong="H4428" said|strong="H0559" to Doeg|strong="H1673", Turn|strong="H5437" thou, and fall|strong="H6293" upon the priests|strong="H3548". And Doeg|strong="H1673" the Edomite|strong="H0130" turned|strong="H5437", and he fell|strong="H6293" upon the priests|strong="H3548", and slew|strong="H4191" on that day|strong="H3117" fourscore|strong="H8084" and five|strong="H2568" persons|strong="H0376" that did wear|strong="H5375" a linen|strong="H0906" ephod|strong="H0646".
18 Então disse o rei a Doegue: Vira-te e arremete contra os sacerdotes. Virou-se, então, Doegue, o edomeu, e arremeteu contra os sacerdotes, e matou naquele dia oitenta e cinco homens que vestiam éfode de linho.
19 And Nob|strong="H5011", the city|strong="H5892" of the priests|strong="H3548", smote|strong="H5221" he with the edge|strong="H6310" of the sword|strong="H2719", both men|strong="H0376" and women|strong="H0802", children|strong="H5768" and sucklings|strong="H3243", and oxen|strong="H7794", and asses|strong="H2543", and sheep|strong="H7716", with the edge|strong="H6310" of the sword|strong="H2719".
19 Também a Nobe, cidade desses sacerdotes, passou a fio de espada; homens e mulheres, meninos e criancinhas de peito, e até os bois, jumentos e ovelhas passou a fio de espada.
20 And one|strong="H0259" of the sons|strong="H1121" of Ahimelech|strong="H0288" the son|strong="H1121" of Ahitub|strong="H0285", named|strong="H8034" Abiathar|strong="H0054", escaped|strong="H4422", and fled|strong="H1272" after|strong="H0310" David|strong="H1732".
20 Todavia um dos filhos de Aimeleque, filho de Aitube, que se chamava Abiatar, escapou e fugiu para Davi.
21 And Abiathar|strong="H0054" shewed|strong="H5046" David|strong="H1732" that Saul|strong="H7586" had slain|strong="H2026" the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* priests|strong="H3548".
21 E Abiatar anunciou a Davi que Saul tinha matado os sacerdotes do Senhor.
22 And David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559" unto Abiathar|strong="H0054", I knew|strong="H3045" it that day|strong="H3117", when Doeg|strong="H1673" the Edomite|strong="H0130" was there, that he would surely|strong="H5046" tell|strong="H5046" Saul|strong="H7586": I have occasioned|strong="H5437" the death of all the persons|strong="H5315" of thy father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004".
22 Então Davi disse a Abiatar: Bem sabia eu naquele dia que, estando ali Doegue, o edomeu, não deixaria de o denunciar a Saul. Eu sou a causa da morte de todos os da casa de teu pai.
23 Abide|strong="H3427" thou with me, fear|strong="H3372" not: for he that seeketh|strong="H1245" my life|strong="H5315" seeketh|strong="H1245" thy life|strong="H5315": but with me thou shalt be in safeguard|strong="H4931".
23 Fica comigo, não temas; porque quem procura a minha morte também procura a tua; comigo estarás em segurança.
