5 And|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3754" he was seen|strong="G3700" of Cephas|strong="G2786", then|strong="G1534" of the twelve|strong="G1427":

9 For|strong="G1063" I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1510" the least|strong="G1646" of the apostles|strong="G0652", that|strong="G3739" am|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" meet|strong="G2425" to be called|strong="G2564" an apostle|strong="G0652", because|strong="G1360" I persecuted|strong="G1377" the church|strong="G1577" of God|strong="G2316".
10 But|strong="G1161" by the grace|strong="G5485" of God|strong="G2316" I am|strong="G1510" what|strong="G3739" I am|strong="G1510": and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" grace|strong="G5485" which was bestowed upon|strong="G1519" me|strong="G1691" was|strong="G1096" not|strong="G3756" in vain|strong="G2756"; but|strong="G0235" I laboured|strong="G2872" more abundantly|strong="G4053" than they|strong="G0846" all|strong="G3956": yet|strong="G1161" not|strong="G3756" I|strong="G1473", but|strong="G0235" the grace|strong="G5485" of God|strong="G2316" which was|strong="G3588" with|strong="G4862" me|strong="G1698".
11 Therefore|strong="G3767" whether|strong="G1535" it were I|strong="G1473" or|strong="G1535" they|strong="G1565", so|strong="G3779" we preach|strong="G2784", and|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" ye believed|strong="G4100".
12 Now|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" Christ|strong="G5547" be preached|strong="G2784" that|strong="G3754" he rose|strong="G1453" from|strong="G1537" the dead|strong="G3498", how|strong="G4459" say|strong="G3004" some|strong="G5100" among|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5213" that|strong="G3754" there is|strong="G2076" no|strong="G3756" resurrection|strong="G0386" of the dead|strong="G3498"?
13 But|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" there be|strong="G2076" no|strong="G3756" resurrection|strong="G0386" of the dead|strong="G3498", then|strong="G3761" is|strong="G1453" Christ|strong="G5547" not|strong="G3761" risen|strong="G1453":
14 And|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" Christ|strong="G5547" be|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3756" risen|strong="G1453", then|strong="G0686" is our|strong="G2257" preaching|strong="G2782" vain|strong="G2756", and|strong="G1161" your|strong="G5216" faith|strong="G4102" is also|strong="G2532" vain|strong="G2756".
15 Yea|strong="G1161", and|strong="G2532" we are found|strong="G2147" false witnesses|strong="G5575" of God|strong="G2316"; because|strong="G3754" we have testified|strong="G3140" of|strong="G2596" God|strong="G2316" that|strong="G3754" he raised up|strong="G1453" Christ|strong="G5547": whom|strong="G3739" he raised|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3756" up|strong="G1453", if so|strong="G1512" be that|strong="G0686" the dead|strong="G3498" rise|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3756".
16 For|strong="G1063" if|strong="G1487" the dead|strong="G3498" rise|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3756", then|strong="G3761" is|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3761" Christ|strong="G5547" raised|strong="G1453":
17 And|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" Christ|strong="G5547" be|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3756" raised|strong="G1453", your|strong="G5216" faith|strong="G4102" is vain|strong="G3152"; ye are|strong="G2075" yet|strong="G2089" in|strong="G1722" your|strong="G5216" sins|strong="G0266".
18 Then|strong="G0686" they|strong="G3588" also|strong="G2532" which are fallen asleep|strong="G2837" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" are perished|strong="G0622".
19 If|strong="G1487" in|strong="G1722" this|strong="G3778" life|strong="G2222" only|strong="G3440" we have|strong="G2070" hope|strong="G1679" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547", we are|strong="G2070" of all|strong="G3956" men|strong="G0444" most miserable|strong="G1652".
20 But|strong="G1161" now|strong="G3570" is Christ|strong="G5547" risen|strong="G1453" from|strong="G1537" the dead|strong="G3498", and become|strong="G1096" the firstfruits|strong="G0536" of them|strong="G3588" that slept|strong="G2837".
21 For|strong="G1063" since|strong="G1894" by|strong="G1223" man|strong="G0444" came death|strong="G2288", by|strong="G1223" man|strong="G0444" came also|strong="G2532" the resurrection|strong="G0386" of the dead|strong="G3498".
22 For|strong="G1063" as|strong="G5618" in|strong="G1722" Adam|strong="G0076" all|strong="G3956" die|strong="G0599", even|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" shall|strong="G2227" all|strong="G3956" be made alive|strong="G2227".
23 But|strong="G1161" every man|strong="G1538" in|strong="G1722" his own|strong="G2398" order|strong="G5001": Christ|strong="G5547" the firstfruits|strong="G0536"; afterward|strong="G1899" they that are|strong="G3588" Christ’s|strong="G5547" at|strong="G1722" his|strong="G0846" coming|strong="G3952".
24 Then|strong="G1534" cometh the end|strong="G5056", when|strong="G3752" he shall have delivered up|strong="G3860" the kingdom|strong="G0932" to God|strong="G2316", even|strong="G2532" the Father|strong="G3962"; when|strong="G3752" he shall have put down|strong="G2673" all|strong="G3956" rule|strong="G0746" and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" authority|strong="G1849" and|strong="G2532" power|strong="G1411".
25 For|strong="G1063" he|strong="G0846" must|strong="G1163" reign|strong="G0936", till|strong="G0891" he|strong="G3739" hath put|strong="G5087" all|strong="G3956" enemies|strong="G2190" under|strong="G5259" his|strong="G0846" feet|strong="G4228".
26 The last|strong="G2078" enemy|strong="G2190" that shall be destroyed|strong="G2673" is death|strong="G2288".
27 For|strong="G1063" he hath put|strong="G5293" all things|strong="G3956" under|strong="G5259" his|strong="G0846" feet|strong="G4228". But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G3752" he saith|strong="G2036" all things|strong="G3956" are put under|strong="G5293" him, it is manifest|strong="G1212" that|strong="G3754" he is excepted|strong="G1622", which|strong="G3588" did put|strong="G5293" all things|strong="G3956" under|strong="G5293" him|strong="G0846".
28 And|strong="G1161" when|strong="G3752" all things|strong="G3956" shall be subdued|strong="G5293" unto him|strong="G0846", then|strong="G5119" shall|strong="G5293" the Son|strong="G5207" also|strong="G2532" himself|strong="G0846" be subject|strong="G5293" unto him|strong="G3588" that put|strong="G5293" all things|strong="G3956" under him|strong="G0846", that|strong="G2443" God|strong="G2316" may be|strong="G5600" all|strong="G3956" in|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3956".
29 Else|strong="G1893" what|strong="G5101" shall they do|strong="G4160" which|strong="G3588" are baptized|strong="G0907" for|strong="G5228" the dead|strong="G3498", if|strong="G1487" the dead|strong="G3498" rise|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3756" at all|strong="G3654"? why|strong="G5101" are they|strong="G0907" then|strong="G2532" baptized|strong="G0907" for|strong="G5228" the dead|strong="G3498"?
30 And|strong="G2532" why|strong="G5101" stand|strong="G2793" we|strong="G2249" in jeopardy|strong="G2793" every|strong="G3956" hour|strong="G5610"?
31 I protest by|strong="G3513" your|strong="G2251" rejoicing|strong="G2746" which|strong="G3739" I have|strong="G2192" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" Jesus|strong="G2424" our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962", I die|strong="G0599" daily|strong="G2250".
32 If|strong="G1487" after the manner|strong="G2596" of men|strong="G0444" I have fought with beasts|strong="G2341" at|strong="G1722" Ephesus|strong="G2181", what|strong="G5101" advantageth it|strong="G3786" me|strong="G3427", if|strong="G1487" the dead|strong="G3498" rise|strong="G1453" not|strong="G3756"? let us eat|strong="G5315" and|strong="G2532" drink|strong="G4095"; for|strong="G1063" to morrow|strong="G0839" we die|strong="G0599".
33 Be|strong="G4105" not|strong="G3361" deceived|strong="G4105": evil|strong="G2556" communications|strong="G3657" corrupt|strong="G5351" good|strong="G5543" manners|strong="G2239".
34 Awake|strong="G1594" to righteousness|strong="G1346", and|strong="G2532" sin|strong="G0264" not|strong="G3361"; for|strong="G1063" some|strong="G5100" have|strong="G2192" not the knowledge|strong="G0056" of God|strong="G2316": I speak|strong="G3004" this to|strong="G4314" your|strong="G5213" shame|strong="G1791".
35 But|strong="G0235" some|strong="G5100" man will say|strong="G2046", How|strong="G4459" are|strong="G1453" the dead|strong="G3498" raised up|strong="G1453"? and|strong="G1161" with what|strong="G4169" body|strong="G4983" do they come|strong="G2064"?
36 Thou fool|strong="G0878", that which|strong="G3739" thou|strong="G4771" sowest|strong="G4687" is|strong="G2227" not|strong="G3756" quickened|strong="G2227", except|strong="G1437" it die|strong="G0599":
37 And|strong="G2532" that|strong="G1487" which|strong="G3739" thou sowest|strong="G4687", thou sowest|strong="G4687" not|strong="G3756" that|strong="G3588" body|strong="G4983" that|strong="G3588" shall be|strong="G1096", but|strong="G0235" bare|strong="G1131" grain|strong="G2848", it may chance|strong="G5177" of wheat|strong="G4621", or|strong="G2228" of some|strong="G5100" other|strong="G3062" grain:
38 But|strong="G1161" God|strong="G2316" giveth|strong="G1325" it|strong="G0846" a body|strong="G4983" as|strong="G2531" it hath pleased him|strong="G2309", and|strong="G2532" to every|strong="G1538" seed|strong="G4690" his own|strong="G2398" body|strong="G4983".
39 All|strong="G3956" flesh|strong="G4561" is not|strong="G3756" the same|strong="G0846" flesh|strong="G4561": but|strong="G0235" there is one|strong="G0243" kind of flesh|strong="G4561" of men|strong="G0444", another|strong="G0243" flesh|strong="G4561" of beasts|strong="G2934", another|strong="G0243" of fishes|strong="G2486", and another|strong="G0243" of birds|strong="G4421".
40 There are also|strong="G2532" celestial|strong="G2032" bodies|strong="G4983", and|strong="G2532" bodies|strong="G4983" terrestrial|strong="G1919": but|strong="G0235" the glory|strong="G1391" of the celestial|strong="G2032" is one|strong="G2087", and|strong="G1161" the|strong="G3588" glory of the terrestrial|strong="G1919" is another|strong="G2087".
41 There is one|strong="G0243" glory|strong="G1391" of the sun|strong="G2246", and|strong="G2532" another|strong="G0243" glory|strong="G1391" of the moon|strong="G4582", and|strong="G2532" another|strong="G0243" glory|strong="G1391" of the stars|strong="G0792": for|strong="G1063" one star|strong="G0792" differeth from|strong="G1308" another star|strong="G0792" in|strong="G1722" glory|strong="G1391".
42 So|strong="G3779" also|strong="G2532" is the resurrection|strong="G0386" of the dead|strong="G3498". It is sown|strong="G4687" in|strong="G1722" corruption|strong="G5356"; it is raised|strong="G1453" in|strong="G1722" incorruption|strong="G0861":
43 It is sown|strong="G4687" in|strong="G1722" dishonour|strong="G0819"; it is raised|strong="G1453" in|strong="G1722" glory|strong="G1391": it is sown|strong="G4687" in|strong="G1722" weakness|strong="G0769"; it is raised|strong="G1453" in|strong="G1722" power|strong="G1411":
44 It is sown|strong="G4687" a natural|strong="G5591" body|strong="G4983"; it is raised|strong="G1453" a spiritual|strong="G4152" body|strong="G4983". There is|strong="G2076" a natural|strong="G5591" body|strong="G4983", and|strong="G2532" there is|strong="G2076" a spiritual|strong="G4152" body|strong="G4983".
45 And|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" it is written|strong="G1125", The first|strong="G4413" man|strong="G0444" Adam|strong="G0076" was made|strong="G1096" a living|strong="G2198" soul|strong="G5590"; the last|strong="G2078" Adam|strong="G0076" was made a quickening|strong="G2227" spirit|strong="G4151".
46 Howbeit that|strong="G0235" was not|strong="G3756" first|strong="G4412" which|strong="G3588" is spiritual|strong="G4152", but|strong="G0235" that which|strong="G3588" is natural|strong="G5591"; and afterward|strong="G1899" that which|strong="G3588" is spiritual|strong="G4152".
47 The first|strong="G4413" man|strong="G0444" is of|strong="G1537" the earth|strong="G1093", earthy|strong="G5517": the second|strong="G1208" man|strong="G0444" is the Lord|strong="G2962" from|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772".
48 As|strong="G3634" is the earthy|strong="G5517", such|strong="G5108" are they|strong="G3588" also|strong="G2532" that are earthy|strong="G5517": and|strong="G2532" as|strong="G3634" is the heavenly|strong="G2032", such|strong="G5108" are they|strong="G3588" also|strong="G2532" that are heavenly|strong="G2032".
49 And|strong="G2532" as|strong="G2531" we have borne|strong="G5409" the image|strong="G1504" of the earthy|strong="G5517", we shall|strong="G5409" also|strong="G2532" bear|strong="G5409" the image|strong="G1504" of the heavenly|strong="G2032".
50 Now|strong="G1161" this|strong="G5124" I say|strong="G5346", brethren|strong="G0080", that|strong="G3754" flesh|strong="G4561" and|strong="G2532" blood|strong="G0129" cannot|strong="G1410" inherit|strong="G2816" the kingdom|strong="G0932" of God|strong="G2316"; neither|strong="G3761" doth|strong="G2816" corruption|strong="G5356" inherit|strong="G2816" incorruption|strong="G0861".
51 Behold|strong="G2400", I shew|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5213" a mystery|strong="G3466"; We shall|strong="G2837" not|strong="G3756" all|strong="G3956" sleep|strong="G2837", but|strong="G1161" we shall|strong="G0236" all|strong="G3956" be changed|strong="G0236",
52 In|strong="G1722" a moment|strong="G0823", in|strong="G1722" the twinkling|strong="G4493" of an eye|strong="G3788", at|strong="G1722" the last|strong="G2078" trump|strong="G4536": for|strong="G1063" the trumpet shall sound|strong="G4537", and|strong="G2532" the dead|strong="G3498" shall be raised|strong="G1453" incorruptible|strong="G0862", and|strong="G2532" we|strong="G2249" shall be changed|strong="G0236".
53 For|strong="G1063" this|strong="G5124" corruptible|strong="G5349" must|strong="G1163" put on|strong="G1746" incorruption|strong="G0861", and|strong="G2532" this|strong="G5124" mortal|strong="G2349" must put on|strong="G1746" immortality|strong="G0110".
54 So|strong="G1161" when|strong="G3752" this|strong="G5124" corruptible|strong="G5349" shall have put on|strong="G1746" incorruption|strong="G0861", and|strong="G2532" this|strong="G5124" mortal|strong="G2349" shall have put on|strong="G1746" immortality|strong="G0110", then|strong="G5119" shall be brought to pass|strong="G1096" the saying|strong="G3056" that|strong="G3588" is written|strong="G1125", Death|strong="G2288" is swallowed up|strong="G2666" in|strong="G1519" victory|strong="G3534".
55 O death|strong="G2288", where|strong="G4226" is thy|strong="G4675" sting|strong="G2759"? O grave|strong="G0086", where|strong="G4226" is thy|strong="G4675" victory|strong="G3534"?
56 The sting|strong="G2759" of death|strong="G2288" is sin|strong="G0266"; and|strong="G1161" the strength|strong="G1411" of sin|strong="G0266" is the law|strong="G3551".
57 But|strong="G1161" thanks|strong="G5485" be to God|strong="G2316", which giveth|strong="G1325" us|strong="G2254" the victory|strong="G3534" through|strong="G1223" our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547".
58 Therefore|strong="G5620", my|strong="G3450" beloved|strong="G0027" brethren|strong="G0080", be ye|strong="G1096" stedfast|strong="G1476", unmoveable|strong="G0277", always|strong="G3842" abounding|strong="G4052" in|strong="G1722" the work|strong="G2041" of the Lord|strong="G2962", forasmuch as ye know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" your|strong="G5216" labour|strong="G2873" is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756" in vain|strong="G2756" in|strong="G1722" the Lord|strong="G2962".
