1 Were and drawing near to him all the taxgathers and the sinners, to hear him.
1 Certa ocasião, muitos cobradores de impostos e outras pessoas de má fama chegaram perto de Jesus para o ouvir.
2 And murmured the Pharisees and the scribes, saying: That this sinners receives, and eats with them.
2 Os fariseus e os mestres da Lei criticavam Jesus, dizendo: — Este homem se mistura com gente de má fama e toma refeições com eles.
3 He said and to them the parable this, saying:
3 Então Jesus contou esta parábola :
4 What man of you having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, not leaves behind the ninetynine in the desert, and goes after that having been lost, till he may find it?
4 — Se algum de vocês tem cem ovelhas e perde uma, por acaso não vai procurá-la? Assim, deixa no campo as outras noventa e nove e vai procurar a ovelha perdida até achá-la.
5 And having found, he lays on the shoulders of himself rejoicing;
5 Quando a encontra, fica muito contente e volta com ela nos ombros.
6 and coming into the house he calls together the friends and the neighbors, saying to them: Rejoice with me, for I found the sheep of me that having been lost.
6 Chegando à sua casa, chama os amigos e vizinhos e diz: “Alegrem-se comigo porque achei a minha ovelha perdida.”
7 I say to you, that thus joy will be in the heaven over one sinner reforming, than over ninetynine just ones, who no need have of reformation.
7 — Pois eu lhes digo que assim também vai haver mais alegria no céu por um pecador que se arrepende dos seus pecados do que por noventa e nove pessoas boas que não precisam se arrepender.
8 Or what woman, drachmas having ten, if she may lose drachma one, not lights a lamp, and sweeps the house, and seeks carefully, till she finds?
8 Jesus continuou:
9 And having found she calling together the friends and the neighbors, saying: Rejoice with me, for I found the drachma, which I lost.
9 E, quando a encontra, convida as amigas e vizinhas e diz: “Alegrem-se comigo porque achei a minha moeda perdida.”
10 Thus, I say to you, joy produced in presence of the messengers of the God over one sinner reforming.
10 — Pois eu digo a vocês que assim também os anjos de Deus se alegrarão por causa de um pecador que se arrepende dos seus pecados.
11 He said and: A man certain had two sons.
11 E Jesus disse ainda:
12 And said to younger of them to the father: O father, give to me the falling to part of the property. And he divided to them the living.
12 Certo dia o mais moço disse ao pai: “Pai, quero que o senhor me dê agora a minha parte da herança.”
13 And after not many days having gathered together all the younger son, went abroad into a country distant; and there wasted the property of himself, living dissolutely.
13 Poucos dias depois, o filho mais moço ajuntou tudo o que era seu e partiu para um país que ficava muito longe. Ali viveu uma vida cheia de pecado e desperdiçou tudo o que tinha.
14 Having expended and of him all, came a famine mighty throughout the country that; and he began to be in want.
14 — O rapaz já havia gastado tudo, quando houve uma grande fome naquele país, e ele começou a passar necessidade.
15 And having gone he united with one of the citizens of the country that; and he sent him into the fields of himself to feed swine.
15 Então procurou um dos moradores daquela terra e pediu ajuda. Este o mandou para a sua fazenda a fim de tratar dos porcos.
16 And he longed to fill the belly of himself from the pods, which were eating the swine; and no one gave to him.
16 Ali, com fome, ele tinha vontade de comer o que os porcos comiam, mas ninguém lhe dava nada.
17 To himself and coming, he said: How many hired servants of the father of me have an abundance of bread? I and here with hunger am perishing.
17 Caindo em si, ele pensou: “Quantos trabalhadores do meu pai têm comida de sobra, e eu estou aqui morrendo de fome!
18 Having arisen I will go the father of me, and will say to him: O father, I sinned against the heaven and in presence of thee;
18 Vou voltar para a casa do meu pai e dizer: ‘Pai, pequei contra Deus e contra o senhor
19 no longer I am fit to be called a son of thee; make me as one of the hired servants of thee.
19 e não mereço mais ser chamado de seu filho. Me aceite como um dos seus trabalhadores.’ ”
20 And having arisen he went to the father of himself. While but of him at a distance being, saw him the father of him, and was moved with pity; and running he fell on the neck of him and repeatedly kissed him.
20 Então saiu dali e voltou para a casa do pai.
21 Said and to him the son: O father, I sinned against the heaven and in presence of thee; and no longer I am fit to be called a son of thee.
21 E o filho disse: “Pai, pequei contra Deus e contra o senhor e não mereço mais ser chamado de seu filho!”
22 Said but the father to the slaves of himself: Bring you out the robe the chief, and clothe you him, and give you a fingerring into the hand of him, and shoes for the feet.
22 — Mas o pai ordenou aos empregados: “Depressa! Tragam a melhor roupa e vistam nele. Ponham um anel no dedo dele e sandálias nos seus pés.
23 And having brought the calf the fatted do you sacrifice; and eating we may be joyful;
23 Também tragam e matem o bezerro gordo. Vamos começar a festejar
24 for this the son of me dead was, and again alive; and having been lost he was, and is found. And they began to be merry.
24 porque este meu filho estava morto e viveu de novo; estava perdido e foi achado.”
25 Was and the son of him the elder in a field; and as he was coming near to the house, he heard a sound of music and dancers.
25 — Enquanto isso, o filho mais velho estava no campo. Quando ele voltou e chegou perto da casa, ouviu a música e o barulho da dança.
26 And having called to one of the servants, he inquired what may be these things?
26 Então chamou um empregado e perguntou: “O que é que está acontecendo?”
27 He and said to him: That the brother of thee is come; and has sacrificed the father of thee the calf the fatted, because safe him he received.
27 — O empregado respondeu: “O seu irmão voltou para casa vivo e com saúde. Por isso o seu pai mandou matar o bezerro gordo.”
28 He was angry and, and not was disposed to enter. The therefore father of him going out besought him.
28 — O filho mais velho ficou zangado e não quis entrar. Então o pai veio para fora e insistiu com ele para que entrasse.
29 He and answering said to the father: Lo, so many years do I slave for thee, and never a command of thee I passed by; and to me never thou gavest a kid, that with the friends of me I might be joyful.
29 Mas ele respondeu: “Faz tantos anos que trabalho como um escravo para o senhor e nunca desobedeci a uma ordem sua. Mesmo assim o senhor nunca me deu nem ao menos um cabrito para eu fazer uma festa com os meus amigos.
30 When and the son of the this, the having devoured of thee the living with harlots, come, thou has sacrificed for him the calf the fatted.
30 Porém esse seu filho desperdiçou tudo o que era do senhor, gastando dinheiro com prostitutas. E agora ele volta, e o senhor manda matar o bezerro gordo!”
31 He and said to him: O child, thou always with me art, and all the mine thine is.
31 — Então o pai respondeu: “Meu filho, você está sempre comigo, e tudo o que é meu é seu.
32 To be joyful but and to be glad it is proper, for the brother of thee this dead was, and again is alive; and having been lost was, and is found.
32 Mas era preciso fazer esta festa para mostrar a nossa alegria. Pois este seu irmão estava morto e viveu de novo; estava perdido e foi achado.”
