1 And it happened in the to come him into a house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees in a sabbath to eat bread, and they were watching him.
1 Certo sábado, entrando Jesus para comer na casa de um fariseu importante, observavam-no atentamente.
2 And lo, a man certain was dropsical in presence of him.
2 À frente dele estava um homem doente, com o corpo inchado.
3 And answering the Jesus said to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying: If it is lawful in the sabbath to cure?
3 Jesus perguntou aos fariseus e peritos na lei: "É permitido ou não curar no sábado? "
4 They but were silent. And having taken hold he cured him, and dismissed.
4 Mas eles ficaram em silêncio. Assim, tomando o homem pela mão, Jesus o curou e o mandou embora.
5 And answering to them said: Of any one of you an ass or an ox into a pit shall fall, and not immediately will draw out him in the day of the sabbath?
5 Então ele lhes perguntou: "Se um de vocês tiver um filho ou um boi, e este cair num poço no dia de sábado, não irá tirá-lo imediatamente? "
6 And not they were able to reply to him to these things.
6 E eles nada puderam responder.
7 He spoke and to those having been invited a parable, observing how the first reclining places they were choosing out, saying to them:
7 Quando notou como os convidados escolhiam os lugares de honra à mesa, Jesus lhes contou esta parábola:
8 When thou mayest be invited by any one to marriagefeasts, not thou mayest recline in the first reclining place; least a more honorable of thee may be having been invited by him;
8 "Quando alguém o convidar para um banquete de casamento, não ocupe o lugar de honra, pois pode ser que tenha sido convidado alguém de maior honra do que você.
9 and coming he thee and him having invited, shall say to thee: Give thou to this a place; and then thou shouldst begin with shame the farthest place to occupy.
9 Se for assim, aquele que convidou os dois virá e lhe dirá: ‘Dê o lugar a este’. Então, humilhado, você precisará ocupar o lugar menos importante.
10 But when thou mayest be invited, having gone recline thou in the farthest place, that when may come he having invited thee, may say to thee: O friend, go thou up to a higher place. Then will be to thee glory in presence of those reclining with thee.
10 Mas quando você for convidado, ocupe o lugar menos importante, de forma que, quando vier aquele que o convidou, diga-lhe: ‘Amigo, passe para um lugar mais importante’. Então você será honrado na presença de todos os convidados.
11 For every one the exalting himself, shall be humbled; and the humbling himself shall be exalted.
11 Pois todo o que se exalta será humilhado, e o que se humilha será exaltado".
12 He said and also to the (one) having invited him: When thou mayest make a dinner or a supper, not call the friends of thee, nor the brethren of thee, nor the relations of thee, nor neighbors rich; lest also they thee should invite again, and be made to thee a recompense.
12 Então Jesus disse ao que o tinha convidado: "Quando você der um banquete ou jantar, não convide seus amigos, irmãos ou parentes, nem seus vizinhos ricos; se o fizer, eles poderão também, por sua vez, convidá-lo, e assim você será recompensado.
13 But when thou mayest make a feast, invite poor ones, maimed ones, lame ones, blind ones;
13 Mas, quando der um banquete, convide os pobres, os aleijados, os mancos, e os cegos.
14 and blessed thou wilt be, because not they have to recompense to thee; it will be recompensed for to thee in the resurrection of the just.
14 Feliz será você, porque estes não têm como retribuir. A sua recompensa virá na ressurreição dos justos".
15 Hearing and one of those reclining these, said to him: Blessed, who shall eat bread in the kingdom of the God.
15 Ao ouvir isso, um dos que estavam à mesa com Jesus, disse-lhe: "Feliz será aquele que comer no banquete do Reino de Deus".
16 He and said to him: A man certain made a supper great, and invited many.
16 Jesus respondeu: "Certo homem estava preparando um grande banquete e convidou muitas pessoas.
17 And he sent the slave of himself in the hour of the supper to say to those having been invited: Come you, for now ready is all.
17 Na hora de começar, enviou seu servo para dizer aos que haviam sido convidados: ‘Venham, pois tudo já está pronto’.
18 And they began from one to excuse themselves all. The first said to him: A field I bought, and I have need to go out and to see him; I beseech thee, have me having been excused.
18 "Mas eles começaram, um por um, a apresentar desculpas. O primeiro disse: ‘Acabei de comprar uma propriedade, e preciso ir vê-la. Por favor, desculpe-me’.
19 And another said: Yokes of oxen I bought five, and I go to try them; I beseech the, have me having been excused.
19 "Outro disse: ‘Acabei de comprar cinco juntas de bois e estou indo experimentá-las. Por favor, desculpe-me’.
20 And another said: A wife I married, and because of this not I am able to come.
20 "Ainda outro disse: ‘Acabo de me casar, por isso não posso ir’.
21 And having come the slave that reported to the lord of himself these. Then being angry the householder said to the slave of himself: Go out quickly into the wide places and streets of the city, and the poor ones and maimed ones and lame ones and blind ones bring in hither.
21 "O servo voltou e relatou isso ao seu senhor. Então o dono da casa irou-se e ordenou ao seu servo: ‘Vá rapidamente para as ruas e becos da cidade e traga os pobres, os aleijados, os cegos e os mancos’.
22 And said the slave: O lord, it is done as thou didst order, and still room is.
22 "Disse o servo: ‘O que o senhor ordenou foi feito, e ainda há lugar’.
23 And said the lord to the slave: Go out into the ways and hedges, and urge to enter, that may be filled the house of me.
23 "Então o senhor disse ao servo: ‘Vá pelos caminhos e valados e obrigue-os a entrar, para que a minha casa fique cheia.
24 I say for to you, that no one of the men those the having been invited shall taste of me the supper.
24 Eu lhes digo: nenhum daqueles que foram convidados provará do meu banquete’ ".
25 Were going and him crowds great; and turning he said to them:
25 Uma grande multidão ia acompanhando Jesus; este, voltando-se para ela, disse:
26 If any one comes to me, and not hates the father of himself, and the mother, and the wife, and the children, and the brothers, and the sisters, still more and even the of himself life, not is able of me a disciple to be.
26 "Se alguém vem a mim e ama o seu pai, sua mãe, sua mulher, seus filhos, seus irmãos e irmãs, e até sua própria vida mais do que a mim, não pode ser meu discípulo.
27 And whoever not bears the cross of himself, and comes after me, not is able of me to be a disciple.
27 E aquele que não carrega sua cruz e não me segue não pode ser meu discípulo.
28 Who for of you, wishing a tower to build, not first having sat down computes the cost, if he has to finish?
28 "Qual de vocês, se quiser construir uma torre, primeiro não se assenta e calcula o preço, para ver se tem dinheiro suficiente para completá-la?
29 that lest having laid of him a foundation, and not being able to finish, all those beholding should begin to deride him,
29 Pois, se lançar o alicerce e não for capaz de terminá-la, todos os que a virem rirão dele,
30 saying: That this the man began to build, and not was able to finish.
30 dizendo: ‘Este homem começou a construir e não foi capaz de terminar’.
31 Or what king going to engage with another king in battle, not having sat down first consult, if able he is with ten thousand to meet the (one) with twenty thousand coming against him?
31 "Ou, qual é o rei que, pretendendo sair à guerra contra outro rei, primeiro não se assenta e pensa se com dez mil homens é capaz de enfrentar aquele que vem contra ele com vinte mil?
32 If but not, while of him far off being, and embassy having sent, he asks the to peace.
32 Se não for capaz, enviará uma delegação, enquanto o outro ainda está longe, e pedirá um acordo de paz.
33 So then all of you, who not bids farewell to all the of himself possessions not is able of me to be a disciple.
33 Da mesma forma, qualquer de vocês que não renunciar a tudo o que possui não pode ser meu discípulo.
34 Good the salt; if but the salt should be tasteless, by what shall it be salted?
34 "O sal é bom, mas se ele perder o sabor, como restaurá-lo?
35 Neither for land, nor for manure fit it is; out they cast it. He having ears to hear, let him hear.
35 Não serve nem para o solo nem para adubo; é jogado fora. "Aquele que tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça".
