1 And it happened in the to come him into a house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees in a sabbath to eat bread, and they were watching him.
1 Aconteceu, num sábado, que, entrando ele em casa de um dos principais dos fariseus para comer pão, eles o estavam observando.
2 And lo, a man certain was dropsical in presence of him.
2 E eis que estava ali diante dele um certo homem hidrópico.
3 And answering the Jesus said to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying: If it is lawful in the sabbath to cure?
3 E Jesus, tomando a palavra, falou aos doutores da lei e aos fariseus, dizendo: É lícito curar no sábado?
4 They but were silent. And having taken hold he cured him, and dismissed.
4 Eles, porém, calaram-se. E tomando- o, o curou e despediu.
5 And answering to them said: Of any one of you an ass or an ox into a pit shall fall, and not immediately will draw out him in the day of the sabbath?
5 E disse-lhes: Qual será de vós o que, caindo-lhe num poço, em dia de sábado, o jumento ou o boi, o não tire logo?
6 And not they were able to reply to him to these things.
6 E nada lhe podiam replicar sobre isso.
7 He spoke and to those having been invited a parable, observing how the first reclining places they were choosing out, saying to them:
7 E disse aos convidados uma parábola, reparando como escolhiam os primeiros assentos, dizendo-lhes:
8 When thou mayest be invited by any one to marriagefeasts, not thou mayest recline in the first reclining place; least a more honorable of thee may be having been invited by him;
8 Quando por alguém fores convidado às bodas, não te assentes no primeiro lugar, para que não aconteça que esteja convidado outro mais digno do que tu,
9 and coming he thee and him having invited, shall say to thee: Give thou to this a place; and then thou shouldst begin with shame the farthest place to occupy.
9 e, vindo o que te convidou a ti e a ele, te diga: Dá o lugar a este; e então, com vergonha, tenhas de tomar o derradeiro lugar.
10 But when thou mayest be invited, having gone recline thou in the farthest place, that when may come he having invited thee, may say to thee: O friend, go thou up to a higher place. Then will be to thee glory in presence of those reclining with thee.
10 Mas, quando fores convidado, vai e assenta-te no derradeiro lugar, para que, quando vier o que te convidou, te diga: Amigo, assenta-te mais para cima. Então, terás honra diante dos que estiverem contigo à mesa.
11 For every one the exalting himself, shall be humbled; and the humbling himself shall be exalted.
11 Porquanto, qualquer que a si mesmo se exaltar será humilhado, e aquele que a si mesmo se humilhar será exaltado.
12 He said and also to the (one) having invited him: When thou mayest make a dinner or a supper, not call the friends of thee, nor the brethren of thee, nor the relations of thee, nor neighbors rich; lest also they thee should invite again, and be made to thee a recompense.
12 E dizia também ao que o tinha convidado: Quando deres um jantar ou uma ceia, não chames os teus amigos, nem os teus irmãos, nem os teus parentes, nem vizinhos ricos, para que não suceda que também eles te tornem a convidar, e te seja isso recompensado.
13 But when thou mayest make a feast, invite poor ones, maimed ones, lame ones, blind ones;
13 Mas, quando fizeres convite, chama os pobres, aleijados, mancos
14 and blessed thou wilt be, because not they have to recompense to thee; it will be recompensed for to thee in the resurrection of the just.
14 e serás bem-aventurado; porque eles não têm com que to recompensar; mas recompensado serás na ressurreição dos justos.
15 Hearing and one of those reclining these, said to him: Blessed, who shall eat bread in the kingdom of the God.
15 E, ouvindo isso um dos que estavam com ele à mesa, disse-lhe: Bem-aventurado o que comer pão no Reino de Deus!
16 He and said to him: A man certain made a supper great, and invited many.
16 Porém ele lhe disse: Um certo homem fez uma grande ceia e convidou a muitos.
17 And he sent the slave of himself in the hour of the supper to say to those having been invited: Come you, for now ready is all.
17 E, à hora da ceia, mandou o seu servo dizer aos convidados: Vinde, que já tudo está preparado.
18 And they began from one to excuse themselves all. The first said to him: A field I bought, and I have need to go out and to see him; I beseech thee, have me having been excused.
18 E todos à uma começaram a escusar-se. Disse-lhe o primeiro: Comprei um campo e preciso ir vê-lo; rogo-te que me hajas por escusado.
19 And another said: Yokes of oxen I bought five, and I go to try them; I beseech the, have me having been excused.
19 E outro disse: Comprei cinco juntas de bois e vou experimentá-los; rogo-te que me hajas por escusado.
20 And another said: A wife I married, and because of this not I am able to come.
20 E outro disse: Casei e, portanto, não posso ir.
21 And having come the slave that reported to the lord of himself these. Then being angry the householder said to the slave of himself: Go out quickly into the wide places and streets of the city, and the poor ones and maimed ones and lame ones and blind ones bring in hither.
21 E, voltando aquele servo, anunciou essas
22 And said the slave: O lord, it is done as thou didst order, and still room is.
22 E disse o servo: Senhor, feito está como mandaste, e ainda há lugar.
23 And said the lord to the slave: Go out into the ways and hedges, and urge to enter, that may be filled the house of me.
23 E disse o senhor ao servo: Sai pelos caminhos e atalhos e força-
24 I say for to you, that no one of the men those the having been invited shall taste of me the supper.
24 Porque eu vos digo que nenhum daqueles varões que foram convidados provará a minha ceia.
25 Were going and him crowds great; and turning he said to them:
25 Ora, ia com ele uma grande multidão; e, voltando-se, disse-lhe:
26 If any one comes to me, and not hates the father of himself, and the mother, and the wife, and the children, and the brothers, and the sisters, still more and even the of himself life, not is able of me a disciple to be.
26 Se alguém vier a mim e não aborrecer a seu pai, e mãe, e mulher, e filhos, e irmãos, e irmãs, e ainda também a sua própria vida, não pode ser meu discípulo.
27 And whoever not bears the cross of himself, and comes after me, not is able of me to be a disciple.
27 E qualquer que não levar a sua cruz e não vier após mim não pode ser meu discípulo.
28 Who for of you, wishing a tower to build, not first having sat down computes the cost, if he has to finish?
28 Pois qual de vós, querendo edificar uma torre, não se assenta primeiro a fazer as contas dos gastos,
29 that lest having laid of him a foundation, and not being able to finish, all those beholding should begin to deride him,
29 Para que não aconteça que, depois de haver posto os alicerces e não
30 saying: That this the man began to build, and not was able to finish.
30 dizendo: Este homem começou a edificar e não pôde acabar.
31 Or what king going to engage with another king in battle, not having sat down first consult, if able he is with ten thousand to meet the (one) with twenty thousand coming against him?
31 Ou qual é o rei que, indo à guerra a pelejar contra outro rei, não se assenta primeiro a tomar conselho sobre se com dez mil pode sair ao encontro do que vem contra ele com vinte mil?
32 If but not, while of him far off being, and embassy having sent, he asks the to peace.
32 De outra maneira, estando o outro ainda longe, manda embaixadores e pede condições de paz.
33 So then all of you, who not bids farewell to all the of himself possessions not is able of me to be a disciple.
33 Assim, pois, qualquer de vós que não renuncia a tudo quanto tem não pode ser meu discípulo.
34 Good the salt; if but the salt should be tasteless, by what shall it be salted?
34 Bom é o sal, mas, se ele degenerar, com que se adubará?
35 Neither for land, nor for manure fit it is; out they cast it. He having ears to hear, let him hear.
35 Nem presta para a terra, nem para o monturo; lançam-no fora. Quem tem ouvidos para ouvir, que ouça.
