1 We make known but to you, O brethren, the favor of the God that having been given by the congregations of the Macedonia;
1 Também, irmãos, vos fazemos conhecer a graça de Deus concedida às igrejas da Macedônia;
2 that in much trial of affliction abundance of the joy of them, and the in deep poverty of them, abounded to the wealth of the liberality of them;
2 porque, no meio de muita prova de tribulação, manifestaram abundância de alegria, e a profunda pobreza deles superabundou em grande riqueza da sua generosidade.
3 because according to power ( testify) and beyond power of their own accord,
3 Porque eles, testemunho eu, na medida de suas posses e mesmo acima delas, se mostraram voluntários,
4 with much earnest entreaty asking of us the favor even the participation of the service of that for the saints.
4 pedindo-nos, com muitos rogos, a graça de participarem da assistência aos santos.
5 And not as we expected, but themselves they gave first to the Lord, and to us, through will of God;
5 E não somente fizeram como nós esperávamos, mas também deram-se a si mesmos primeiro ao Senhor, depois a nós, pela vontade de Deus;
6 in order that to intreat us Titus, that as he before began, so also he would perfect among you also the gift this.
6 o que nos levou a recomendar a Tito que, como começou, assim também complete esta graça entre vós.
7 But as in every thing you abound, (in faith and in word and in knowledge and in all diligence, and in the form of you to us love,) that also in this the favor you may abound;
7 Como, porém, em tudo, manifestais superabundância, tanto na fé e na palavra como no saber, e em todo cuidado, e em nosso amor para convosco, assim também abundeis nesta graça.

8 Não vos falo na forma de mandamento, mas para provar, pela diligência de outros, a sinceridade do vosso amor;
9 (you know for the favor of the Lord of us Jesus Anointed, that on account of you he became poor rich being, so that you by the of him poverty might become rich;)
9 pois conheceis a graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que, sendo rico, se fez pobre por amor de vós, para que, pela sua pobreza, vos tornásseis ricos.

10 E nisto dou minha opinião; pois a vós outros, que, desde o ano passado, principiastes não só a prática, mas também o querer, convém isto.

11 Completai, agora, a obra começada, para que, assim como revelastes prontidão no querer, assim a leveis a termo, segundo as vossas posses.

12 Porque, se há boa vontade, será aceita conforme o que o homem tem e não segundo o que ele não tem.
13 Not for, that to others rest, to you but affliction, but out of an equality; in the present season the to you abundance for the of them want,
13 Porque não é para que os outros tenham alívio, e vós, sobrecarga; mas para que haja igualdade,
14 so that also the of them abundance may be for the of you want, so that may be an equality;
14 suprindo a vossa abundância, no presente, a falta daqueles, de modo que a abundância daqueles venha a suprir a vossa falta, e, assim, haja igualdade,
15 even as it has been written: He the much, not had over; and he the little, not had lack.
15 como está escrito: O que muito colheu não teve demais; e o que pouco, não teve falta.
16 Thanks but to the God to the having given the same earnestness on behalf of you in the heart of Titus;
16 Mas graças a Deus, que pôs no coração de Tito a mesma solicitude por amor de vós;
17 because the indeed exhortation he received; more earnest but being, of his own accord he went out to you.
17 porque atendeu ao nosso apelo e, mostrando-se mais cuidadoso, partiu voluntariamente para vós outros.
18 We sent together and with him the brother, of whom the praise in the glad tidings through all of the congregations;
18 E, com ele, enviamos o irmão cujo louvor no evangelho está espalhado por todas as igrejas.
19 not only and but also having been voted by the congregation a fellowtraveler of us with the gift this, that being administered by us for the same the Lord glory and readiness of mind of us;
19 E não só isto, mas foi também eleito pelas igrejas para ser nosso companheiro no desempenho desta graça ministrada por nós, para a glória do próprio Senhor e para mostrar a nossa boa vontade;
20 avoiding this, not anyone is us should blame in the abundance this the being served by us;
20 evitando, assim, que alguém nos acuse em face desta generosa dádiva administrada por nós;
21 we are purposing for good things not only in presence of Lord, but also in presence of men.
21 pois o que nos preocupa é procedermos honestamente, não só perante o Senhor, como também diante dos homens.
22 We sent together and with them the brother of us, whom we proved in many things many times diligent being, now but much more diligent, confidence great in that for you.
22 Com eles, enviamos nosso irmão cujo zelo, em muitas ocasiões e de muitos modos, temos experimentado; agora, porém, se mostra ainda mais zeloso pela muita confiança em vós.
23 And if on behalf of Titus, partner my and for you a fellowlaborer; and if brethren of us, apostles of congregations, glory of Anointed.
23 Quanto a Tito, é meu companheiro e cooperador convosco; quanto a nossos irmãos, são mensageiros das igrejas e glória de Cristo.
24 The therefore proof of the love of you, and of us boasting on behalf of you, for them point you out in face of the congregations.
24 Manifestai, pois, perante as igrejas, a prova do vosso amor e da nossa exultação a vosso respeito na presença destes homens.
