1 Iesu maibe gapan sia anega wadiamon,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Toemu kimaniwa guegue manega, ayop da otua waen naitapen tani barip mega tan.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Me nao mega nagirewa watu enamon amo, da da barip gagewa onamot wani ame wadiamop onamopen, go mu iravi tanda wane.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Menan me nao nagirewa upi sia watu enamon, nop manega wadiamopen menan watu enamon, ‘E iravi onaen iwa ne antaba gaset tunun sese kakayat tan. Man nega kao ine otu dere guran amba wan dim dim iragi gaset ta kakayasen, ganawan barip aige onaen.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Go mu nop muga to kayasen amba daiton nao mega aen, dawa wan dim dim mega une gare gare taini arewa aen.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Upinamu nao nagire megawa tambun guramone borit wan.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Ayop ame ugu gangan naen menan ita nagirewa mega watu enamon amon koewa tane nagirewa enu girigamen guran pa sewa muga uta it baimene.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Ame tani amba me nao nagirewa mega upine diamon, ‘Naine mutat baripewa tata kakayat gaset tan, go waenapan venamu wana mu koerage menan ya tauep.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ap menan negin ni enoa ise tau ase tau aisen amba waenapan da tautanamonewa munan wane barip aigewa onamop,’ ap anega diamon.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ap menan nao nagirewa tau amon, waenapan iragi negin gage gage upamon togonen, mu da da iragi tanamonewa, kakaewa ge koewa, ai onamone amba naine mutat baripe paewa gwanap barat mutane.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Barip wamewa gapan ayop ame taue apan da naine mutat wanupewa ya panen yaveni menan singui anega wayaven,
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ‘Enda, ge anenen amba mapa unuk tauan go naine mutat wanupewa ya panaana?’ Apan ame nop uon tan.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 No uon wandeni menan ayop nao mega nagirewa diamon, ‘Orup ame pusi nani taun garip sisipu aipa uat enan.’ At sisip ame gapan waenapan irip waiwanumun amba asi kitonak wanumun.” Iesu maibe ap anega wan.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Amba Iesu sia anega wan, “God waenapan aruga munan waiwan go agiap om enumon.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Iesu singui wayawamon, “Yawan, moni mame gamup da yaua o guewa ok seane?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Mu gare anega wan, “Ame ayop Sisa guewa mega gamup wandia.” Menan Iesu anega wan, “Ap menan, wan dim dim Sisa mega wandepi ame Sisa di wanapen. God mega wandepi, ame God di wanapen.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Wam ame mu nop mame anune tarak wan, menan mu ae vean amon.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Wam ame daiton, dugup Sadusi nagire, upi Iesu inap tauan. Mu dugup anu tumat muga gapan waenapan manega wadidiam wanumun, “Borit wata sia ya inak nitait.”

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Endi apan upi tatap gwanip yananewa nanin yamunaet yamunewa dere mugenat wanumon. Namu bonewa mugawa waen naiseni go me otu uon boen menan gwaniwa ewap yaneni, tasewa kwapuraewa sia naisen
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Gwaniwa orup da ya baraeni amba boen. Gwaniwa yampoa kwapura sia naisen. Ap anega ta amo wanumune dugup daiton apan nani yamu dere waen ap daiton naitan.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Amba uiwa waen kwapura ame den sia boen.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ap menan endi apan nanin yamunaet yamune dere waen ame naitanewa go wam uiwa gapan waenapan inak muse sia yon wanumopi waen ame apan ansenawa waenewa?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Iesu Sadusi nagirewa gare wadiamon, “E aopan waiwanin iwa ok seane e asik ya tayan amba God aro amun mega den e oare.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Go waenapan borit wane evi amba sia yon wanumopi inak yaibobot eviwa gapan mu gare gare ya naine mutain, den ore wai naine mutapen menan ya munain. Iwa mu anea umap wanumoin sia ya borit wain.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se

35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:

36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?

37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:

42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!

43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 — ausente —
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?

45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
