¹ [To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.] Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:

¹ Ao mestre de canto. Salmo dos filhos de Coré. Fostes propício, Senhor, à vossa terra; restabelecestes a sorte de Jacó.

² Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

² A iniqüidade de vosso povo perdoastes, foram por vós cobertos seus pecados.

³ Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.

³ Aplacastes toda a vossa cólera, refreastes o furor de vossa ira.

⁴ Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

⁴ Restaurai-nos, ó Deus, nosso salvador, ponde termo à indignação que tínheis contra nós.

⁵ Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?

⁵ Acaso será eterna contra nós a vossa cólera? Estendereis vossa ira sobre todas as gerações?

⁶ Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁶ Não nos restituireis a vida, para que vosso povo se rejubile em vós?

⁷ Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.

⁷ Mostrai-nos, Senhor, a vossa misericórdia, e dai-nos a vossa salvação.

⁸ I will hear what *God, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.

⁸ Escutarei o que diz o Senhor Deus, porque ele diz palavras de paz ao seu povo, para seus fiéis, e àqueles cujos corações se voltam para ele.

⁹ Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

⁹ Sim, sua salvação está bem perto dos que o temem, de sorte que sua glória retornará à nossa terra.

¹⁰ Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:

¹⁰ A bondade e a fidelidade outra vez se irão unir, a justiça e a paz de novo se darão as mãos.

¹¹ Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

¹¹ A verdade brotará da terra, e a justiça olhará do alto do céu.

¹² Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.

¹² Enfim, o Senhor nos dará seus benefícios, e nossa terra produzirá seu fruto.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.

¹³ A justiça caminhará diante dele, e a felicidade lhe seguirá os passos.
