¹ [To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.] Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:

¹ Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo para os filhos de Corá. Senhor, tu foste favorável à tua terra; tu trouxeste de volta os cativos de Jacó.

² Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

² Perdoaste a iniquidade do teu povo, cobriste todo o seu pecado. Selá.

³ Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.

³ Retiraste toda a tua ira; tu te desviaste da ferocidade da tua raiva.

⁴ Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

⁴ Transforma-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e faz com que a tua ira em relação a nós cesse.

⁵ Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?

⁵ Ficarás irado conosco para sempre? Alongarás a tua ira a todas as gerações?

⁶ Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁷ Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.

⁷ Mostra-nos tua misericórdia, ó SENHOR, e dá-nos a tua salvação.

⁸ I will hear what *God, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.

⁸ Eu ouvirei o que Deus, o SENHOR, falar: pois ele falará de paz ao seu povo, e aos seus santos; mas que eles não se voltem novamente à loucura.

⁹ Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

⁹ Certamente a sua salvação está perto daqueles que o temem; que a glória possa habitar em nossa terra.

¹⁰ Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:

¹⁰ A misericórdia e a verdade se encontram juntas; a justiça e a paz se beijaram.

¹¹ Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

¹¹ A verdade saltará para fora da terra, e a justiça olhará para baixo lá do céu.

¹² Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.

¹² Sim, o SENHOR dará àquele que é bom; e a nossa terra renderá o seu crescimento.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.

¹³ Justiça irá diante dele, e nos colocará no caminho dos seus passos.
